Felt like my house was falling apart! Called up the boss Andy and he sent someone over within the hour!
Fixed a kitchen sink leak, replaced water heater, new shower head, and snaked the main drain leading out of my house. Can't tell you how much it all helped! The work was done quickly and for a great cost! Flow Tec is the only plumber I'll ever use.

Recently on a particularly rough day after doing my business I turned around and my keys fell out of my jacket into the flushing toilet. I called Flow Tec and a few hours later somebody had my toilet sideways and was fishing my now ... less pleasant keys out of the toilet.

I can't recommend these folks enough. Extremely professional and on time.

I have used Flow Tec for years for my rental units. A couple years ago, they did a great job of moving a clawfoot tub in a tight space and re-doing the floor pipe to the tub. Couldn't believe the service person was able to move the tub by himself. Pricing came in much lower than estimated, too, as the person worked so quickly. And, just today, service person Michael came to check a faucet installation in a kitchen and change out connector lines for a bathroom sink. Michael was courteous, friendly, efficient, called ahead to refine timing. I look forward to having him respond to a service call again.

This review is LONG overdue! I've been using Flow Tec for years! 10+ years to be exact! They are by far the most honest, reliable, clear and concise plumbing company I've ever used. Straight to the point with jobs. Have never tried to up sell me on things and services that I DIDN'T need unlike most franchise companies out there! Easy to contact. Quick to respond. Very professional and get jobs done fast! Their entire staff is awesome! Highly recommended!!!

Incredibly unprofessional! Joked about the clogged toilet the whole time and said that the mess was spraying in their face. They also laughed about an old tenant throwing non flushable things down the toilet - if your job is plumbing, I'm sure this is not the worst you've seen. Unfortunately our apartment building uses them, but if we had the option to go elsewhere, we would. We were also working from home and had to mute our zoom meetings so their unprofessional comments couldn't be heard. Genuinely terrible experience. Don't recommend!

I've been using this company for a few years now for small things here and there such as a clogged toilet, and the shower being plugged up. However I recently had a pipe burst in my downstairs bathroom and they have really stepped up their game since switching to new management. They were very professional on the phone, and were right on time when they said they would be here, they even gave a courtesy call before arriving to my home. I also appreciate their approach during this whole pandemic, they maintained a good distance, wore masks and gloves and were very efficient about the time spent assessing the problem. Most of all, they were also very upfront about pricing, no hidden fees and fixed the problem in no time. I would highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs .

Very expensive plumber. They will charge for every little things and tell you it's discounted price. I just in case called other plumbers and they were surprised with how much I paid to flow tec.

I scheduled a Sewer Lateral Inspection & Bid with the owner Andy. The scheduled date of inspection was 11/8/18, between the hours of 11a-1p.
Andy stated that his plumber Mike would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival on the date of inspection. Well, on that date, Andy's employee Mike called me at 11:35am to inform me that he was running late due to an emergency and that he would not be able to arrive until after 1pm. He said that he would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival. This was fine. Emergencies happen. I contacted the listing agent's assistant to inform him. The home owners/sellers were there between 11a-1pm, but they could not stay after 1pm. The listing agent's assistant agreed to head out to property. When Andy's employee Mike showed up, he called me and stated that noone was there on site. I contacted listing agent's assistant, who stated that he was running late due to traffic. Andy's employee left site not even waiting 15 minutes as courtesy, after he had made the sellers wait over 2 hours for running late. I called Andy. No answer. I then texted Andy. Andy replied, ""the guy showed up and the guys not there we had to move."" I beg the question...You make someone wait over 2 hours, but you can't wait 15 minutes? Andy did not offer to reschedule. He simply texted verbatim, ""So are you just gonna have to find someone else take care."" Yes...owner Andy did not have the professional courtesy or care to pick up the phone, use his fingers to dial, & offer a reschedule. He simply voice texted....hence, his careless text faux pas. I am disappointed with Andy's lack of profesionalism, customer service, and ability to execute fairness and reasonableness in the way that he chooses to run his small business. Any fair and reasonable business person would have instructed his employee to wait 15 minutes, especially having made the client wait over 2 hours. Any fair and reasonable business person would have followed up after the incident by calling the client and offering a reschedule. I am a realtor with a 30+ year old firm of over 80 realtors, proudly serving SF and the SF Bay Area Peninsula. We have a preferred roster of contractors, whom we use for small projects as well as large projects on a regular basis. I truly am disappointed to say that Andy will not be on our list.
