Oliver K.I faced a damaged water supply line between the wall and the toilet tank after replacing the toilet float valve. This is task I feel I am capable to perform. I shut off the wall valve and immediately noticed that it was one of those old models (1981) that required turning off the water to the house to swap out the supply line. That is something I would never do myself.
So, I shut off the supply valve, found no leak, and contacted about six plumbers. A certain well-known Anchorage plumbing service, that I have used for many decades, notified me their earliest appointment was October 31st, and today is September 6th! Consequently, I began looking on the Internet.
The only company that called back within six hours was Flow Star Plumbing and Heating. That was at 3 PM on a Friday. They dispatched a technician -- Steve Hill -- who arrived at 4 PM.
Technician Steve Hill was courteous, knowledgeable, and completely competent. He explained everything so I could understand it, and he completed the job within the one-hour minimum labor charge. Additionally, Steve provided a Veterans' discount.
The service was an extremely prompt, smooth, and uneventful service call.
Thus, if you is in need of plumbing services, you will not be let down with Flow Star Plumbing and Heating. I'd give them more stars if Yelp allowed it.

Rebecca J.I were faced with uncertainty on which company to reach out to about a shower knob that was stuck, rendering showering a challenge in our master bathroom! I did a search and discovered Flow Star Plumbing and Heating! A friendly staff member with a cheerful voice answered the phone and directed me to a plumber who set up the appointment for the next day, offering an expected time for an arrival call! Additionally, while I waited briefly, there was no annoying music to hear. Lovely classical tranquil music played.
Therefore today, everything fell into place just as they said! For some, it may be different, but inviting outsiders in our house feels a bit unsettling! Furthermore how worrisome will the repairs be? To sum it up....the plumber who arrived turned out to be very kind, competent, real and skilled. Thoughtful to our anxious dogs who still are trying to get used to seeing visitors in our home after two years of covid with nobody coming! I rate Flow Star Plumbing and Heating a perfect score in trust. We are full confidence that with any plumbing issues in the future, they will be our choice for help!
