Sue S.On 9/21/18 Vince and Steve came to my moms house and did a great job fixing her kitchen sink pipes.. it was a mess and they did a fantastic job. They were at the house for a couple hours. Even had to go into the crawl with the mice. Very personable and professional. 100% in my book. Old house, old pipes. What courage!! Max our Yorkie says Paws up!!

Owner, ""I'll be back tomorrow between 1-3pm"".
I called at 3pm to get an idea of when he'd be by, left a voicemail. No return call. I text at 430pm asking if we need to reschedule, no reply.
Horrible communication skills.
Arthur J.Let's just say this company was chosen by my home warranty company. The first service call was great he came in and adjusted my hot water restrictors on my showers. Based on my very first visit i chose them again. Oh boy was I wrong second visit was a clogged floor drain and sewer backup into my basement ugh. They said it was the main sewer line outside of the foundation so it wasn't covered. So at this point I'm paying cash for the fixed or so I thought . 1)They were 2hrs late because of a blow out on their truck! Not my problem but they didn't communicate that until they arrived. 2) a 1 day job took two days and the clogged floor drain still wasn't fixed. (Which lead me to believe my main sewer line probably wasn't a problem) 3) they agreed to do the work inside the foundation (because hwa would pay) if I provided access. My insurance company told mark the owner they would provide access and to bill them. Mark dragged his feet for about 3 weeks. At this point I called hwa to change vendors. Still waiting for my brushes and brick work to be reinstalled
Tee P.I wish I had read reviews before allowing this company to replace my sump pump. Joe arrived on time he immediately tried to sell me an upgrade for an additional $100. Water was standing in basement and he worked while wading in water. Once Sump Pump was installed I feel Joe should have pumped excess water with wet vac. The sump pump makes loud banging noises. Without permission Joe helped himself to a 30 lb iron weight I had in basement next to pump used to hold sump pump lid in place. Friday 8pm I called the company asking for Joe to return with my weight and a wet vac to suck up excess water. They asked me to wait till next business day. Breakdown occurred Thursday 9 A.M. repair on Friday 1 P.M. I made it clear the basement starting to smell and unsanitary. Therefore waiting was not an option. They said Joe would call to discuss. Joe wanted me to take a survey so he can earn $100 hope he doesn't hold his breath since I am forced to purchase a wet vac to complete his job myself.
Joe was awesome. I contacted my home warranty regarding a leaking hot water tank and was put in contact with Flow Right Plumbing. Joe came by the 1st day to evaluate the problem and recommended replacing the hot water tank. Joe and Flow Right Plumbing took care of contacting my home warranty the same day to get the approval. Joe came back the next day was a new replacement hot water tank and him and his helper was able to install the tank in about an 1 hour or so. Both where very helpful and answered any questions we had and showed us how to use the hot water tank afterwards. Both days Joe was on time and called as he was on his way. I will definitely be reaching out to Flow Right Plumbing in the future with any plumbing issues I may have.
Suzanne M.Five days after moving into my townhouse, my kitchen drain pipe froze. I called my home warranty company and arranged for a plumber to come out. The Flow Right plumber tracked snow & salt into my townhome, and something was dripping from his auger equipment (GROSS). Now there's a hole in the under cabinet drywall - he failed to mention that happened. He attempted, but couldn't route the blockage, asked if I had rock salt on hand (I didn't). Almost three hours later, he says, ""Well, I tried, but it's not budging."" I asked ""So now what""? He said ""I guess you're going to have to wait until it gets warmer."" I said ""Have you lived in the Midwest? It's not going to get warm until March. How bad is this going to get? I can't use my dishwasher, my sink? Is this going to reach to my neighboring powder room too?"" He shrugged and said he could call his boss Mark. Mid-call, he mentions Mark can come back the next day around 3pm, would need to cut into my garage ceiling to get to the pipe, troubleshoot, and see if they could resolve the issue, letting me know none of this suggested work would be covered by my home warranty. Thank goodness our home owner's association needs to approve any work that requires walls/ceilings to be opened. I was able to use that delay to get a second opinion. Surprise, surprise - all I needed to do was heat my garage for a couple hours to slowly thaw the frozen drain pipe and the water drained from my sink (and my garage ceiling and wallet are not full of holes)! I called Mark to let him know that the ice was thawed and I only needed them to come back to route the line to ensure any clog was resolved. All of a sudden they were so backed up with work that he couldn't come out at 3pm anymore, ""maybe tomorrow. I'm at the office. I will review the schedule and call you back."" No call back that day. Next day I call, get an answering service. Supposedly my information was sent to the plumber on duty with a request for expedited response - no call back. Three phone calls to my home warranty service, three phone calls to Flow Right - no call back. Eventually I was able to get the service request routed to another plumber. Just got a call from the second plumber - he said their shop receives tons of Flow Right's unfinished work, he doesn't understand why warranty companies continue to use them. It's a real shame when a woman can't get a simple plumbing issue resolved in a timely fashion without encountering these types of shady business practices.
Jessica R.We moved into an older home recently and discovered lots of plumbing problems a few weeks later. We have had Flow Right out a few times to fix a couple small water leaks and also to completely overhaul our gas piping. The office was great at returning calls immediately and setting up quick appointments, and the plumbers who came out were always knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. I don't know anything about plumbing but I never felt like they were talking down to me, and they were great about explaining what was wrong and what they were doing to fix it. They did a ton of work and hardly left a footprint behind. I feel confident in the quality of their repairs, and we'll call them first if we ever need more plumbing work done.
Janene M.This is a super late review. If I could give this business 0 stars I would. If your warranty company assigns them to you, call them and ask to be assigned to a different business. The worst customer service ever from the boss. The plumber that came to my house was actually nice. The boss calls me (weeks later) and accused me of trying to avoid paying the $50 copay. Is it my fault your employee wrote the numbers wrong when he took the credit card info? Then to get him off my phone ( I was driving) I give him a credit card that I know by heart. He says a sarcastic remark something to the effect of, oh, so now you have a different card. I replied back, no jerk, I don't ever want to speak to you again, so I'm giving you a number now so you can get off my phone because you are the worst person to ever talk to in life. The one good review must be a family member or someone who works for the business. I don't believe it's a real customer.
My home warranty contracted this company to come out and look at a sump pump issue. The guy who came was rude and wouldn't even look at my sump pump because it was sealed (the well was sealed because of radon mitigation which I had said when I made the appointment). He said the sump pump was fine. I asked, ""why is there standing water around it?"" He said, ""I don't know, maybe your dog peed"" REALLY!!! He left without even trying to determine why there was the standing water. He made sure to tell me I would still have to pay my $100 call fee. DO NO USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
Avoid at all costs. The worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Tell you they will call you right back and they never do. I had to call them - every time. If they say they will be at your house at 5p count on it being 6p at the least. One night they told me 6p- called at 630p and said it wouldn't be until 8p- then called at 8p and said they couldn't make it until the next day. What hours does their office work? I would call at 2pm on a Monday and it would redirect me to their emergency line. The emergency line - what a joke. Clueless phone operators that say they will contact an on call person and have them call you. I had a time sensitive issue that needed to be taken care of ASAP. I called the emergency line 3 or 4 times one day and NEVER received a call back from anyone. Issue was finally resolved after almost 2 weeks. Please don't spend you money with these people. If your home warranty company contracts them such as mine did ask for an alternate contractor. I would not wish Flow rights service on my enemies.
