Flow Masters is EXCELLENT. Tree roots cracked our 1940s clay pipes which caused a major backup with water pooling (and rising!) in our garage during days of an atmospheric river deluge.

Flow Masters assessed things and jumped in to diagnose and fix the situation. Communication was fantastic every step of the way. Price was fair. The work is solid. And the whole crew was professional.

I can't say enough good things about the excellent service and follow up that I received from Flow Masters. When I first called, they scheduled a prompt visit to assess an issue with my radiant floor heating system and provided an estimate within the next 2 days. Connor took the time to explain the issue to me and what would be involved in doing the repair. I felt that the estimate was fair and reasonable.

Two technicians came out to do the work at the scheduled time and explained all of the steps, even taking photos to show me where the problem was and how they fixed it. They were able to answer all of my questions.

Despite testing my radiant floor heating system, for some reason I did not have heat the evening after their visit. I called the next day and they sent someone out that afternoon to investigate and solve that issue.

The next week, I found a pool of water leaking out from my laundry room. It was already after 5 pm but Connor came over to assess the problem. He spent over an hour tracking down what was going on and identified an issue inside one of the laundry room walls. He stabilized the issue and arranged to have one of his technicians come out the next day to do the repair.

What I can't get over is how responsive and informative Connor and all of his technicians were. That Connor came out after hours and sent a technician the very next day is incredible service. The receptionist was also helpful and responsive.

I will definitely be using Flow Master Plumbing in the future and highly recommend them.

I intially hired Flow Master's to unclog a bathroom toilet. Their equipment became stuck in the pipes and after much effort and a gigantic mess they were able to unclog the pipes. However in the process they cracked the interior of my toilet. The owner was called and he came to view the damage and quickly agreed to buy a new toilet for me and a few weeks later he had his crew come back and install the new toilet. However the crew did not properly tighten the coupler to the waste pipe when they installed the new toilet. So each time the toilet was flushed it flushed waste water into the walls of my home and under the wood floors of the bedroom which was behind the toilet. The bedroom wood floors buckled from being soaked in waste water. The odor was horrible. The owner came back and opened the wall and saw their plumbing error. He took responsibilty again and filed a claim with his insurance company. This was in August of 2024. I had to immediately mitigate the water damage and to begin the repairs in my home. I had to pay for all of these repairs out of my own pocket which were very expensive. I could not use my bathroom or bedroom for months. It took five months for plumbers insurance company to just partially reimburse me for for repairs. While I appreciate Flo Masters taking responsibility for the damages I would not use them again or recommend them because the damages they caused in my home were easily preventable if they had done their work with care and diligence in the first place.

Our hot water heater died and Flow Masters did a fantastic job replacing it with a heat pump water heater! From beginning to end, dealing with them was a pleasure. We are very happy with the results and look forward to having them maintain the unit going forward.

These guys are great. I've used them several times and all of the plumbers they've sent to. My house were friendly, competent. Neat knew what they were doing.

I also had a recent emergency that involved my kitchen being flooded from something broken in the dishwasher and they responded immediately. I really appreciate that

Had a backed up sink with leak and Juan was able to fix it no problem. Communication was clear on pricing and he explained everything that was wrong. He also noticed another issue with moisture behind the sink that I need to follow up on to prevent mold. This is my second job from Flow Masters and they are definitely one of the best in the Bay Area!

I was looking for a local expert in radiant heating systems to help me understand the system in my house, identify changes to the system that would enable it work better, and to help me maintain my system on an ongoing basis. Alan (one of the owners) evaluated my system, identified the need for a simpler, more reliable thermostat than was currently installed, explained to me how my system works so I could better troubleshoot future problems, and set me up for ongoing routine maintenance. I am very impressed by their knowledge and experience with radiant heat and the overall professionalism of the whole company. This is a very impressive business, and I am happy to have found them.

Had a disappointing experience when we were having a minor emergency being without hot water for over a week. Their technician arrived on time he seemed knowledgeable and professional, but then it felt like whether he knew it or not he played a classic sales game, trying to leverage our emergency for a much bigger deal, instead of just doing the minimum to fix our problem. They ended up quoting us about $2k to fix our hot water heater, which we were able to fix with somebody else for around $60 in parts + 1hr of labor. Broke our trust.

Very professional technician came out during the expected time slot. He took care of our problem with our faucet exactly as we hoped, and was super open to me watching. He answered all my questions and was very personable and patient. Not the cheapest option I saw, but it was worth it to me to have it taken care of professionally and correctly.
