Flotechs was recommended to me by a trusted source, therefore I didn't get any other estimates for a small repair needed in my apartment. The technicians were professional and polite and the work seems to have been done satisfactorily. However, I spoke with others in my complex and they paid about 50% less for the same repair when using another plumbing company. After I heard this from my neighbor, I did contact other plumbing contractors in the area and asked for estimates, and sure enough, the quotes were at least 50% less than what I was charged by Flotechs. While I am all for paying a fair price for work well done, the technicians spent less than 1 hour working in our unit and what I was charged was way above market price. My bad for not checking around prior to contracting them, however they charged me way over what this work would have cost with another contractor.

called Flo Teck they had a repair man here in 1 1/2 hours and the heat back on an hour later!!!
I was sure i would have to stay in hotel over weekend!

I was very pleased with these people. Owner/manager Josh was responsive and clear as to their cost structure and reasonable in discussing the work (disconnect/remove old sink, connect new sink on second visit). Jonny was sent as plumber to do the work and was reliable, knowledgeable, respectful and efficient. I did the necessary prep work (cleaned out under sink cabinet, removed door, installed/siliconed new sink, etc) in order for things to go more smoothly, and the two-visit job was performed within an hour timeframe on both visits. I would use again or recommend.

This company and all the guys that work there are the best! At the beginning of the whole Covid lockdown we woke up to a broken water heater, water everywhere. Couldn't get regular plumber to come, found this company online and am so glad I did.

Old house, means lots of plumbing emergencies which have all decided to occur in the last few months. Flotech has made stressful situations easy to deal with every single time.

No matter when, no matter what, they arrive quickly, are very transparent about what they are doing and potential costs, do the job, answer my million questions, deal with my panic, and do quality work at a fair price. Friendly, professional reliable and competent. Can't ask for more.

Used these guys for years. Came over 2 or 3 times a year to unclog basement toilet. Got tired of paying this, so decided to fix whatever underlying issue was causing these regular backups. They end up replacing a section of pipe they tell me is the cause of the problem, assuring me I should no longer have any problems.

Three months later, the toilet backs up again! After paying $3K+ for a ""permanent"" solution, I have to deal with this nonsense again. Speak to the owner Josh who basically refuses to stand behind his work. Says, ""We don't know what was flushed down the toilet."" We flush toilet paper down the toilet and in modest amounts. Guy kept talking over me, even at one point said, ""You spent $3K, big whoop!"" Total jerk. Avoid at all costs.

Late Sat night during coronavirus, our basement flooded. A drain stack somewhere was clogged. Called Flotechs @7am Sunday morning. A guy was here in about an hour. Found and fixed the problem in under an hour. I was anticipating at least a thousand dollars. Final bill was $300. The guy, Jon, was knowledgable and explained everything he was doing as he did it. Would absolutely use them again. Thank you!

Excellent experience with Flotechs on a shower/tub water body and trim kit replacement. Josh and his team were terrific, handing condo paperwork and providing documentation to get reimbursement for cost. Strongly reccommend.

These guys have done 2 jobs for me so far - a sump pump installation and the unclogging of some old pipes in my home, both to my satisfaction. They seem well organized, knowledgeable, and in my estimation do high quality work. When my sinks stopped working due to clogged pipes, they were able to come out the same day, which happened to be a Saturday, to fix the issue. Though they do charge a higher labor rate for weekend work, it's the price you pay for very fast service. Would recommend and would hire them again.

It is really zero stars based on the initial call I placed to this company. For most of the call the guy I spoke with was angry and annoyed that I called and asked for an estimate. He told me it wasn't worth it for him to come out and crawl around to see where the pipes went if they weren't visible. He was annoyed that I didn't know his company's procedure for obtaining an estimate and complained that it wasn't worth it for him to come out to see what needed to be done see I could get an estimate. He did offer to send out his service truck for $229 but mainly lectured me at length and was angry that I wanted an estimate and didn't know what his company's particular protocol for obtaining an estimate was.
