This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I had a hot water tank replaced and the plumber didn't attach the vent. We could have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. The only reason we caught it was the hot water tank didn't pass inspection. We had to have another company come out to tell us what was wrong with the installation and why it didn't pass inspection. Airco does not know what they are doing.

I will not use them again. Got the wrong diagnosis in a winter tune up. And ended up paying $500 for warranty work. And went without heat for a week cause of it.

Beware...one of the service guys went up into my attic to do a repair on my AC switch and stepped on and broke the AC condensation pipe. Never mentioned it to me that he did it or even heard a crack. A few months later, the water accumulated in my attic from the leaking pipe and my ceiling fell out with insulation, drywall, water everywhere. Could have killed me! Leaked so long the walls also had to be replaced due to mold. They won't take responsibility even though I have the pipe with the guys footprint on it! I'm out the cost of repairing the pipe and insurance $1,000 deductible PLUS my homeowners insurance went up $800 a year! Don't use them, ever!

The Air Control Team is always prompt, thoughtful and extremely concerned about safety and thoroughness. I highly recommend them to NWA households for efficient and cost-controlled service! They NEVER try to ""upsell"" any of our family users (5 homes) unlike many other local services.

The Mangement of the company has changed since some of the negative reviews were posted. I ordered a total HVAC system from them. Peyton, the installer, made sure that I understood how everything worked before he left. He and his helper wore masks the whole time that they were in my house. I was also entitled for rebates since I installed an energy efficient system. Chuck Lewis, the General Manager, filled out all the forms for me and brought them to my house for my signature. Now, that's Service. I did get rebates from Lennox, Swepco, and Black Hills. We totally love the new system as our house no longer has cold spots. I will use Air Control for maintenance.

This business is the poorest air conditioning service business in Northwest Arkansas. They act like their customers have nothing to do but wait around for them to show up, and then they don't come out at all when they are scheduled. This company cost me a lot of money by waiting too long to repair my New air conditioner. They ended up having to replace it. It was under warranty, bug the installation of the new one was over 1200. I paid all of that, but then they refused to honor the original 75 dollar coupon that I had initially given them for the check up. There are many other excellent companies to choose from. I was without air last year for 3 of the hottest weeks in the year.

I purchased a Trane package unit from Air Control in 2011. The first issue I had was every time we get freezing rain or more than a dusting of snow the fan freezes up and quits turning. I then have to set the thermostat to emergency heat and wait for the temperature outside to get warm enough to melt the snow or ice from the fan.

The next problem is that it is now giving off a funky smell. I am told this is called ""dirty sock syndrome"" and is common with these units. The first service man said he had cleaned the coil and sprayed it with something and he hoped that would help, but he didn't think it would. He charged me $217. Within a few days, the smell came back. Service man #2 sprayed more stuff, but admitted that there was not much they could do to fix the problem. He said Trane would furnish a new coil and Air Control would charge $600 labor to install it.

I think Air Control should have been up front with me when I called and told me I would be wasting my money for a service call as they couldn't fix it.

I have found it is not hard to stop a Trane!

Don't waste your time. Used to be good when the father worked on but now that younger generation has taken over a lot of the service work. Rude hateful and lies to you about repairs. One guy wrote f u on my receipt when I questioned him.
