They did the septic job after about 5 trips out. Believe then when they say they won't be responsible for any damage to your home, yard or sprinkler system. Here are pics. (We've been customers for over 10 years and have spent roughly $17,000.00 in the past 6 years.)

After calling several times Flohawks came out the next day to pump my tank. It cost approximately $600 for the inspection and another $600 to pump my tank. No digging was involved. The inspector told my the inspection passed but I received the report and he lists a deficiency. I'm going to contact the county.

Came out to pump my Septic, technician had no clue about septic, had to make 5 different phone calls to figure out what tank is what, what a grinder pump is and the same technician (that had no clue) wrote the report on my septic. got a call from there high pressure salesman couple days later saying piece county was going to come down on me and wanting to call in subcontractor in to tear my system up with a blank check, no thanks, I call another company.

Called them out to replace a broken septic pump. The worker was here two hours, didn't install the pump or float tree right, borrowed tools from us, and closed the lid to where dirt could pour into our tank. Charged a fortune. I called to complain, they said that's how they do it... then they talked with my husband and suddenly they admit it was done wrong... after my husband spent six hours fixing it. They refunded us less than the tax on the job and won't call me back. Wish I had read the reviews before hiring these thieves.

First of all, Be sure to get independent FREE ESTIMATES from 2 or more septic companies. We requested a free estimate from flo hawks and scheduled for 1pm to 5pm. I was called at 930 in the morning of that day and requested to come immediately to the house where the septic tank is. When I arrived, he said he would not charge for 10 minutes wait time he was already there (!!!). He looked at the septic tank, and then said it would cost up to $1500 for pumping and inspection (on the phone they said maybe $900). I said I would get another estimate and he said I had to pay $289 for the free estimate. We said do the work. He took my credit card before he started. The actual work he did was about 30 minutes. He charged for each hour time $155), the services done, inspection fee and other fees I am not sure of because as of today I STILL have not received an invoice. Their attitude is, if you want to be used and abused, you deserve the charge. I asked to speak to their supervisor and as of today (5 days later) I have not received a call and when I call he will not talk to me. 3 hours he was there, did 30 minutes real work, and charged us over $1500 dollars!!!! If you want to save money find someone else. If you want to burn that cash, this is the place to do it!!!!

Had FloHawks out to fix a broken shower head. My wife was cleaning and accidentally slipped, breaking it off at the copper in the wall. I wasn't home when they did the install, my wife was, but when I got home I discovered that they charged us $670 for this repair. All they did was cut two big holes in my wall, cut off the broken copper and replaced it with some new flex pipe. They did NOT repair the drywall. The parts cost about $25 and time involved should not have been more than 60 minutes at most. And that's being generous. This is a VERY basic repair. They charged us as if it took 3 hours (AT $200 AN HOUR!!!!). And now I have to hire out a drywall person to boot.

Moral of the story is I could have done this whole repair myself for less than 50 bucks and in less than an hour. I may be a tech guy by day, but I'm a rental owner by night. These guys are just robbing people because they don't think we know better.

Edit: After speaking with management, Bernie informed me that despite telling them that there was an issue with the shower arm where it broke off in the wall, they don't typically carry the angle piece that connects the shower arm to the main line on their trucks. Even if you ask them to come out for that part that is damaged, they will not carry it until they diagnose it. Then they have to go get the part and will charge you the time and travel to do that. At $200 an hour. Sucks to be me living in the country. It turns out that they aren't capable of basic planning and would much rather just charge you an extra $200-$400 dollars for a job that should be half that out the door.

Avoid these guys. They are awful. Now I get to go hire my drywall person to patch up their garbage work.

I bought a house recently with the knowledge that FloHawks had just replaced the septic pump. Not less than a week later I found the alarm going off. After much research I found they installed a pump that was on the low end of the rating and brought this to their attention. After more than a month of stalling and unreturned phone calls, they refused to put in the pump that the design called for. I guess $3,000 doesn't include fixing errors or customer service. Not recommended!!!

GREAT Customer Service!! We have had very positive experiences with Flohawks several times. In fact, I'm shocked to see anything less than great reviews here. Flohawks is the large company that acts like a small, personal company. The first time I called, i assumed they would not be super knowledgeable about the in/outs of septic systems in rural areas. But their entire team, from Kevin Elbert (who manages things from behind the scenes and gets the right techs, but is clearly in the role because he knows so much as well) to the individual techs who have come out (Matt and Mark), have been friendly, professional, knowledgeable, prompt, efficient and effective!

They leave things clean, they explain everything to me, the answer emails and phone calls right away, they follow up after to make sure things are going okay. Having worked in customer service before myself, this isn't accidental. This is a company that clearly works on ensuring a good customer experience.

I had to call Flohawks again today for another unrelated problem -and while I hate that I have the problem, it is so comforting to know that they will be able to quickly and reliably help. I also appreciate that a septic system has both plumbing and electrical components and they are able to handle both easily...something the other company we were working with could not.

Pricing also seems fair, but I don't have a lot to compare it to. I just know that they are upfront about costs and have tried to do simple (less costly) fixes before trying huge costly fixes. I appreciate that.

Thank you, Flohawks.

We recently had to have some work done by the company. We have had dealings with a number of septic companys over the years and FloHawks has been the most professional. The stand behind their services and do what it takes to make things right, not common in companies this day.
