Inept workers, rude, overpriced & unprofessional. SERIOUSLY, just save your self the headache and call another company, you'll be glad you did.
Julie B.We called Flohawks in Puyallup, Wa. to have our septic tank pumped and the required thurston co. inspection done. We have used Flohawks in the past and liked there quick response and respectful employees. During this time Flohawks did find a problem that needed to be addressed. The employee explained the problem and gave us a couple of options and price quotes. They also explained how our two stage sand filler mound septic system worked. This was early Nov . 2015 and the employee worked in the cold rain and into the night with out a complaint. When the repairs were done he gave us advice on how to keep our system working right, and how to prevent this from happening again. FYI: There are a lot of common house hold products that should not be put in your septic system. I would not hesitate to use them again or tell my friends and family to use them.
Jarod M.Made the call when the toilet gurgled, they were at my house within two hours on a Saturday. Both tanks pumped and system op ckd. Happy with the service and explanation of how our system works and how to properly maintain as a property owner. Tech was professional as was the dispatcher. Will use again. Fair price in comparison to the other local shops that do not have weekend service-unlike other reviews, quote over the phone is exactly what I was charged at time of service.
This company is totally dishonest!! 2 years ago I paid over $1,000.00 for repairs to correct the water flow between the Whitewater and Pump chamber. At that time about 2 feet of pipe was exposed and ""lifted"" with a crowbar and ""large rocks"" placed under it to adjust the flow. This year the same water back-up problem was present, causing the holding tanks and Whitewater tank to be excessively high. When I ""complained"" that this was supposed to be corrected 2 years ago, I was told that pea-gravel had been put under the pipe to elevate it and adjust the flow. I had been present during this previous work and knew that NO pea-gravel had been used which I told the company about. Upon digging up the trench, there was observed a 3"" deep belly in the middle of the 4"" pipe affecting the water flow. There was a 1"" air line pressing on top of the pipe, causing the bend and a uphill flow at the back half resulting in incorrect water flow. NO pea-gravel was found in the trench. This was observed by the backhoe operator, the digger, and two field Supervisors. They attempted to have the job bidder come look at the trench to see that no pea-gravel was present as he had told me (he was observed to be approximately two blocks away from the site at this time). He claimed to be unable to respond due to being 15-18 miles away. Documentation was placed on the report of work done by the men doing the work at this time. At the end on the work, the primary worker used a computer to figure up the charges relevant to the job. He did not have a printer present at the site, but advised me that the job was going to be just over $1700.00. When I checked my credit card online a few days later I saw that I had been charged $2201.68, not the $1700.00. I called the office and spoke with Ashley and asked what the charges had been for the job. She advised me that the charge was $1727.43. I asked why my credit card bill showed the greater charge and she asked me to hold. She then returned and stated that the greater charge was the correct charge. I asked to speak with someone ""in charge"", and was referred to a Gary Clark. He was ""unavailable at that time"" so I left a message. I got no response, so I called almost daily for the next three weeks, always being told ""he was in a meeting,"" ""not in the office"" or, ""unavailable at this time"". Messages were left both on his phone and with the customer service personnel, however I never received a response. Since I had not received a ""printed invoice"" at this time of the work, I could not challenge this charge with the credit card company, even though people involved would have been willing to confirm my representations.
I HIGHLY recommend that NO ONE deal with this company!!!!
These guys are the worst at customer service! They did not do what I asked as far as the plumbing project and I called 3 x to get someone to send me a report on what they found. The phone agent would not allow me to speak with a manager to ask questions. Stay away at all costs, find someone who will respond. Trust all these other reviews and do not be fooled by what they tell you up front.
H K.I needed a time-sensitive review of my septic system for the sale of my home in Pierce County. The system checked out perfectly, but it is now 41 days since the inspection, and Flowhawks also known as NW Cascade has incorrectly completed the inspection and the filing of the inspection with the county. There have been a total of 4 critical errors that have delayed the legal closing of my home sale, now for over 14 days--and this is STILL not complete at time of writing this review.
1. They didn't review the system correctly on the first visit.
2. They took 23 days to file the review online (it was promised to be within 2 days)
3. Once they filed (20+ days late) they realized they didn't complete the inspection correctly.
4. They came back out to the home to do the 2nd review, and then DIDNT file the update with the county. Now, 41 days later and the county just emailed me that the review is on hold until the CORRECT information can be submitted into their system.
How can this company sell this $1100 service and then do such a horrible job completing it? It is holding up a closing of a $600,000+ real estate deal.
Brent R.Owner of FlowHawks: Run The other way..
Only one star because I have to.. kudos to the pump guy.
Do yourself a favor RUN the other way and call someone else! There are better pumping and repair services out there.
So here goes.. Had renters move in in 2014 called FloHawks to pump and inspect the tank, and make needed repairs... Guy shows up with a tube of caulk and a small bag of mortar , is done in 10 minutes and says its all good....we are out over a grand! Year and a half or so later, I'm selling this home, low and behold, we need another $ 950.00 repair, so I sign the contract thinking that's what I'm getting.. a repair, NOT! Bottom of the tank looked the same as it did 1-1/2 years earlier...so I complain about shoddy workmanship.. suddenly they refuse to fix the tank and want 5K+ to replace it ( knowing I have a sale pending on the property, and in an over the barrel situation, speculation perhaps). I tell them to stop all work and do nothing ( had someone I trust actually fix it) Then I get a bill in the mail for cleaning and such claiming they hauled out buckets of rocks ( I saw what they removed, It was the same chunks of concrete they left behind from the last repair!) At $169 an hour, I was mislead! I signed an agreement for a $950 repair, not a bait and switch $1029+ inspection charge. When I went to dispute the bill, I was served a load a fiction. They refused to do anything about it, so I will be settling this matter via the courts. Save yourself the hassle.
FYI I believe Northwest Cascade, Inc. is the parent company of FlowHawks and Honey Bucket.
Hope this helps you,
This will be our 4th time in 15 years having septic problems, tanks pumped and the pumps replaced. The last time wasn't even 2 years ago. I have never known another person to has as many septic issues as we have. We have always had to pay out of pocket to have our tanks pumped and pumps replaced. Two years ago when our pump went out of the 3 year warranty by less than a month they were not willing to help us out at all. I have worked in the automotive service industry for over 25 years and know that there is leeway to every warranty. The only thing the manager was willing to offer us at that time was a rebuilt pump that we still had to pay for and did not come with a lot of savings. Now today, 2 years later our pump went out again. The technician that came out to our house even remembered us from the last time!!! Once again I contacted their VP JR Inman regarding our concerns and asking for coverage. He had his store manager call us. The rebuilt pump only had a one year warranty but NOW they want to offer us a pump at cost (we still have to shell out more money) for the same price as what they charged us for the rebuilt pump. The difference is the pump at cost has a longer warranty. Had they offered us that 2 years ago we'd be under warranty now. I am just disgusted at their matter of fact attitude and unwillingness to take care of a customer. Had this been our first pump to go out I'd be more than happy to pay the price but considering this has been a battle every few years you'd think they would take care of us at least once!
I would not recommend them just for the simple fact that if you have a reoccurring problem they will not help you out even if you're 1 month out of warranty!
Find a local caring company ... this is not it
Stay as far away from this company as possible. I wish they had negative stars to give.
We bought our house in May, in that process the septic tank needed to be certified. We had flohawks come out to service it and certify it for the county. After over $6,000 worth of work (you pay plumbers rates of $168 per hour for a laborer) their ""plumber"" said everything was fixed and got it ""certified"" for the sale. We called them repeatedly for months afterward because we still had a terrible problem with odor, for months!!! they told us to add lime to the soil and that it would take time for it to go away, which we did. After months of phone calls, and putting up with this terrible problem we finally got someone to come out to check it. They sent out a technician (not a plumber) who found the problem (part of the original problem) in about twenty minutes. 4 hours later the problem is solved. It turns out our certified septic system was dumping out right in to yard next to the tank.
The quote from the technician is priceless ""I don't know who you had out here to fix this the first time, but it has been leaking a LONG time"" it was your company!!
When I called to talk about the $1,000 invoice for this visit the management staff was rude, condescending, and basically blamed me for not being more persistent in calling them about the problem. "" if we would have known about this months ago we would have repaired it under warranty"" was what one manager told me, that is the same manager that told me to put lime down and wait for the smell to go away.
They took nothing off of the bill, and when I told Gary, the third manager that I talked to about this bill that I would never use his company again, he said that that's ok, they have lots of customers.
Worst customer service of any service company I have ever dealt with.
Marvalene L.Robert leach a customer service representative with flohawks went above and beyond what he needed to do. Not only did he help me with an issue on my septic but he showed me how to keep it from happening again. I am very appreciative of his help and would recommend flow Hawks to anyone..
