I manage several properties around Austin. I've hired a variety of different plumbing contractors throughout the years. But, for the past 2 years, I've exclusively hired Flint & Associates for any major work. Chris and Chad shoot you straight. And once they fix something, you can rely that it's fixed for good.

We have used Flint & Associates on multiple occasions and they always do a wonderful job. Most recently, we were in the process of selling our home and found an exterior leak in the yard. Chad was able to come out within 24 hours and fix it up. He also went above and beyond, taking the time to review other items of concern on the inspection report. I highly recommend them!

I have used Flint & Associates for years and I highly recommend them!! Chad and his brother have completed many jobs for me over the years from replacing faucets, replacing water heaters, putting an alarm and pan under an older water heater, replacing an entire section of my main sewer line and identifying leaks.

I appreciate their work ethic, work quality and honesty and am grateful to have such a great plumber to turn to when needed!

Knowledgeable, and friendly service. Almost like welcoming a friend home but as a plus our issue with our sink was quickly fixed. Highly recommend them

Flint and Associates plumbing are complete professionals. Ran into a gas leak issue due to poor finish out by Ryland Homes that reared it's ugly head 18 years later. After getting new roof shingles from the recent hail storms the Roofing contractor hit my a flex gas line that ran from the black gas pipe in the down the angled portion of my ceiling down the outside wall to the cooktop. This is what they discovered after isolating all the gas lines to the attic. Proper initial install from the builder using a couple of brackets that would cost a couple of dollars would have prevented this all. Chris and Chad Flint were confident they could get to the bottom of the issue. Developed a game plan to isolate the gas systems to find out where the leak was coming from. Having current state of the art tools help prove useful in this situation. They were able to install a couple of valves in the gas lines without having to thread the black gas pipe. This saved valuable time because they happen to be at my house on the hottest summer day of 2018 here in the Austin area. It was 110 degrees that day in the shade in Pflugerville and they were up in my attic working away. They isolated where the leak was coming from by installing 2 additional valves and pressure testing the system, and isolated the leak to the section going to the cooktop. Further investigation discovered that a flex line ran from the ceiling down an angular portion of my ceiling and down the wall to the cooktop. Unfortunately, this area was right along the roofline and they couldn't diagnose the issue any further from the attic. They needed to cut a hole in the drywall in the ceiling to determine if this was the culprit. They prepped the kitchen with plastic tarps to prepare for the insulation that was going go to come down. They only made a 1x1 foot cut in the ceiling used a trash bag to capture the insulation. It just so happened they hit the jackpot and the cut in the drywall was exactly where a roofing nail had pierced the flex gas line. All the builder had to do was use a bracket to attach the flex gas line to the roof rafter to prevent the gas line from bowing and touching the roof decking. They identified the type of flex gas line and went to the plumbing supply to get the parts need to fix the repair. Came back made the repair and pressure tested the system. They cleaned up the work area while they were pressure testing the system to make sure there weren't any additional hits to the gas line. Thankfully that was the only one. With the work they completed to isolate the different sections of gas line in my attic; I now have the ability to isolate the gas system in the future. I was able to then call the gas company to have the gas turned back on. The Flint brothers are true professionals and are talented plumbers. They work well together bouncing ideas off each other on the best ways to approach the problem. I witnessed this first hand. I am one of those customers who likes to be involved in knowing what the problem is and lending a hand if needed. I am especially curious on how these tradesmen do their job. I am fascinated on the problem solving skills these folks learn throughout there career. If you need plumbing done right at reasonable rates this a local company you can count on. Looking forward to working with these guys in the future adding a second sink in my two daughters bathroom!
