This is the second time that we have used Plumbing Express. The first time was a joke. Crappy customer service (January 2016). This time (July 2016) was the best experience ever. Thanks to Tommy we will be using you again and I will be requesting Tommy again. I really appreciate the great customer service that you gave us. I will recommend this company to others now.

Had Dan out yesterday. WHAT A JOKE. He was arrogant as he walked through the door saying we probably need our yard dug up. This guy had not even started to rot out the sewer! As soon as he hit the blockage he stopped and gave up. Our receipt states, sewer needs to be dug up and repaired. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL SPECIFICALLY MENTION THEM TO NOT USE. We were recommended this company by a neighbor, who guess what, had their yard dug up. Lesson learned. The owner was called to complain about Dan and of course he didn't offer for another employee to come out or refund part or all of my money.

I've used Plumbing Express (PE) for years but will not use them again. In early 2015, I needed replacement of a sewerage ejector pump that they installed five years earlier. These pumps should last between six to ten years. One week after installation of the new pump, the PVC piping that PE used came apart, soaking my crawl space. PE was notified and a different plumber came out and indicated that the first plumber ""didn't know what he was doing"". This repair lasted for about nine months and failed again. I brought in a new plumbing service. The plumber indicated that the pump was air locked and said that PE failed to drill a vent hole in the discharge pipe, which was clearly indicated in the pump installation instructions, which I confirmed. The pump is working properly now. It cost me $100 to find out that PE does very unreliable work, even on a very basic installation.

Recommendation: DON'T USE PLUMBING EXPRESS!

Didn't really get a chance to use their service. I called and set up an appointment for a sat 12-2pm. Long about 4PM when no one had showed, I called the main number. I received a call back 10 min later from an employee who told me two people had called in and he was doing the work of three men now. That's all fine, but I think a call before 2 telling me not to waste any more time waiting for flatleys to show up would be the bare minimum. He told me he might be able to come out Monday, I told him not to worry about it......

Very pleased. I contacted Plumbing Express via the BBB to request an estimate. I was called back in less than an hour. I explained the job (maintenance/repairs on shower, toilet and faucet). I received the estimate and the plumber (Rob) came when scheduled. In and out in less than 3 hours. What another plumber said would require going through the wall to fix, Plumbing Express fixed without that. Saved me money.

Don't hire these people. They charged $3300 for a job I later found runs $1900. While the actual plumbing job was satisfactory, the after job clean up was a joke - torn up lawn, broken concrete path and gutter pipe (which they later said they may replace but have not yet). They refused to acknowledge any reponsibility for the damage caused and insisted on payment in full. The owner refused to visit the site and was rude on the phone.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this company and can not recommend them. I called them about a clogged plumbing line. A plumber came out and looked around and then said that the sewer line was probably sheared off outside of my house and it would cost over $2,000 to repair. I told him I didn't think that was consistent with what I was seeing and I wanted to speak to the owner about it first. He left in a huff and I called the owner. He said they see that all the time and that is what it costs, but he would send another plumber to run a camera through the line and make sure that the line was indeed sheared off. A second plumber came out a day later, opened up the line and quickly determined that it wasn't sheared off. He spent a couple of hours trying to figure out what was wrong and he ended up rodding my kitchen sink line and they charged me more than $500.00, on top of the $135.00 that I paid the first plumber, for that. I thought that was way too much and more than I was told I would be charged but I paid it anyway. The drains worked now, though I continued to have some problems and they didn't work as well as before the first problem. Finally I called the company to see if they would come out and take a look again. I was unable to get the owner to speak to me directly about the problem and instead he had the plumber call me. I explained that I had paid a lot for having one line rodded and asked if they might come out and check it out again. I did not want to pay them any more money as I felt I had overpaid the first time. He was completely unwilling to do anything for me and I was unable to speak to the owner about any of this. I followed up with a letter to the owner to which I received no response whatsoever. Incidently, I ended up rodding the kitchen sink line myself with a drain snake from Menard's attached to a drill and everything has worked great since then.

In conclusion, I got a misdiagnosis, overcharged for what was likely an incomplete repair, and then poor customer service and a bad attitude.

I like that they will quote you a price over the phone, however, that's not the price you get charged. I was quoted $285 to rod the sewer line & $135 for video inspection by Rick. Marcos was here 1 1/2 hours to rod the line then left for about an hour to get the camera and was here for another 1 1/2 hours trying to get the camera down the sewer line, which he was unsuccessful in doing. I was charged $520 because ""it was a hard job"". I wonder do they refund money if it's an easy job. I will definitely not be using them again.

I came across Flatley's after getting fed up with another plumbing company. I've dealt with them 3 times since, and every time has been a pleasure. They are very accommodating, I never feel jerked around or over charged. Rick (came out twice) is wonderful, honest and very understanding of our chronic tree branch problems (darn pine trees are evil), awesome service!

My service was bad. The techs were reckless and started a leak that was not there prior to their service visit. This company may have provided top quality in the past but the current generation gives shameful customer service. I sent my complaint to BBB and discovered I was not the only one experiencing a company gone wild! If the service improves its because of the increasing BBB complaints...customers please beware!
