Oscar came last week to fix my toilet. I experienced the same things as other reviewers:

1) Quick response. I called on a Friday for a non-emergency fix, and he came on Saturday.

2) Reasonable prices. Another plumber told me to replace the toilet. Oscar was able to fix it instead of replacing within a hour and with a much lower cost. When I called for an appointment, I also asked about a visit fee (charged if contractors come to give a quote but not fix anything). This was also reasonable and waived given that I paid for the fix.

I asked Oscar for an estimate for a sump pump replacement and he came the same day. I was going to get a few more estimates but since he gave me a reasonable price and he said he had all the parts to do it right then, I said ok. He was respectful of my house and wore plastic covers over his shoes and he brought in a mat to put his equipment on. He was very fast and efficient taking less than 30 min to remove the old sump pump and install the new one in. He bagged the old sump pump and took it with him to throw away. When he was leaving, I showed him the sump pump discharge line on the side of the house. It was not connected to the PVC pipe in the ground (that was intended to divert the water away from the house) meaning half of the water was draining directly back down the foundation. Oscar offered to fix this at no charge. He used a small section of PVC pipe and easily connected the discharge line to the PVC pipe in ground. This was a definitely a nice gesture on his part. Overall, I was impressed with his skills and efficiency and reasonable price. He also offered a 2 years warranty on his work. I can honestly say I would recommend Oscar to my friends without reservation.

Oscar has come out and fixed a few plumbing issues for me in the last year or so. He is quick to respond and come out to the house. His prices are reasonable and the work seems solid. He is my go to plumber now.

Hi highly recommend Oscar for your plumbing needs. He is quick and able to come same day, sometimes within a few hours. Other plumbers can take days to arrive. He diagnosed and fixed a leak quickly with a reasonable repair cost. If you need a plumber you can trust, and get the job done quickly, then Oscar is the one! I have used other plumbers who are good but Oscar not only good but quick and responsive to calls and texts too.

We had sewer problem on Sunday night and Oscar came to save the day while we couldn't get anyone else to come. He was professional and fix the clogged kitchen sink within a few minutes. He also notice that our hot water expansion tank was stating to rust and could leak soon so he changed that for us as well. So far great experience and I'd recommend him to anyone.

After the dreaded ceiling leak, I quickly skimmed reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor and noticed that Flash Plumbing had consistently high reviews and a good number of recommendations. I called when Oscar was on another job, and after taking in some information on the leak and ceiling status, and a few assurances from me that I could wait until later in the day, I texted him with my details so he could get back to his other job and get back to me later. I had expected an afternoon visit, but he was able to get back to me sooner than I thought and he quickly diagnosed the problem and let me know exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. His prices were very reasonable and I was impressed that he also noticed other minor plumbing issues which he assured me wouldn't take long to remediate. At no point did I feel like he was trying to tell me to fix them or upsell his own services so much as he wanted to let me know they were there and might be problematic in the future.
After he made sure that my emergency wasn't one, we arranged an appointment for later the same day. Again, he managed to arrive earlier than I expected and took care of all of the issues within a couple of hours. I really appreciated the professionalism from start to finish and Flash Plumbing will be my plumbers when I need further work done!
