We had an emergency broken pipe that needed to be accessed through the concrete floor to get to the pipe to repair. Flamingo charged $335 just to be in the house and charged a whopping $7800 for the access and pipe repair. We stupidly paid (it was an emergency) as they don't send bills to insurance companies. We found out that the charge was so exorbitant that a public adjuster cannot help us get insurance payment for this. The charge should have been $1500 to $2000! We were raped big time. Horribly inflated bill to take advantage of our situation.

Had an old sink that needed replacing, along with piping under the sink - Flamingo sent a technician out, and in a short while everything was installed, and no problems with the sink after that - thank you Flamingo, and thank you Josh for making my problem seem like it was nothing to worry about!

My fault for not checking with the BBB, who rates them a 1 out of 5, before booking an appointment with them. On Thursday, July 18th, 2024, I used Flamingo Plumbing, 2781 Vista Pkway, WPB, to do the required Backflow Test of my water meter. Their technician failed my meter and explained the meter did not meet the numbers he was looking for and that the internal parts only last 5 years before needing replacement? Not feeling at all comfortable with his explanation, I had the Backflow Test done again the next day, Friday, July 19th, with another company. No surprise, the meter PASSED!

I am adding a 3 star review for how over-priced they are. Buyer beware!!!!! Scheduling an appointment and the arrival of the technician was right on target. But, this is where the good experience stopped. I got an estimate for $1375 to replace a valve. My gut feeling told me to not agree. I paid the service call fee. Then, I took photos of the pipe and sent it to a different plumber. The estimate was $395!!!!! To be fare, after the second plumbing company arrived, they notified me that the pipes to be replaced are larger in size, and the new estimate was in the ballpark of $650 - but still a significant amount. I was also contacted by the owner trying to make it right. For that, I am increasing my rating to 3. At least they care.

I'll begin by how it ended. We asked for A BUNCH of business cards to hand out to ALL our neighbors! In a day in age where quality, congeniality, and expertise are rare commodities this company has it ALL... Flamingo stands head and shoulders above the rest. We needed a kitchen clog cleared... This was two days after CHRISTMAS.... Samantha was our first contact. So on a Thursday we were told that they were extremely busy and were scheduling for NEXT Wednesday. I said Uggh..We've been without water in the kitchen since the day before Christmas.! She said hold on. Came back a minute later and said """"how's tomorrow sound?"""" We were floored! She was wonderful. The next day Oscar showed up right on time. This Marine and Air Force reserve vet Was just the best. The Best! Unfortunately however, The heavy duty Electric snake machine quit! They all have to quit sometime. Samantha tried to find a truck in the area to come by with another one. They were all on long jobs, late in the day. Couldn't make it happen. Oscar was apologetic, disappointed and not used to having to walk away unfinished. So... The next morning... On a Saturday... Daniel, The MANAGER came to finish the job himself. And he could not have been better. Talk about conscientious and professional... This man blew us away. He had to snake out 45 feet to clear the clog. DON'T PUT EGGSHELLS IN YOUR GARBAGE DISPOSAL! He apologized for the equipment failure. He discounted the normal rate substantially. He was here an hour and a half on the Saturday after Christmas and there was no extra emergency or Saturday, or any other excuse to gouge extra money out of us. On the contrary, HE LITERALLY SAVED US A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF MONEY off of their already FAIR PRICES! He left the kitchen as clean as he found it... And happily took as good a care of us as he possibly could have! Talk about a grand slam home run... From Samantha, the girl answering the phone to Oscar the Marine, To Daniel the Manager... This is the company you want to call... when your back is to the wall. As it states on the side of their beautiful Flamingo trucks... """"If water flows through it, We can do it""""... And they aren't kiddin! Here is the company you need. Look no further. Pick up the phone. Yer done lookin!

I highly recommend Eric P. For any plumbing problem!!! He knows what he's talking about and he will explain what's wrong and what he's doing to resolve your Problem. And always with a smile!!!!

For a simple installation of a new bathroom faucet (supplied by me), I was charged $350 which supposedly included a discount!!! This company is unbelievably expensive although their work quality is good. Also, their policy is to not give you any estimate of what the job will cost until the plumber is at your house and looks at the job. Therefore, it is very hard for the customer to make a decision whether to hire them. For all of these reasons, I will not use this company ever again.

Our Condo building management suggested that all the residents change out their hot water heaters before they fail & leak water all over. One of the suggested companies was Flamingo Plumbing. The job was completed, no problem. Fifteen months later we get notified that they never called for a final West Palm Beach building inspection! So we contact the building inspector & we failed inspection! Since they did not take care of the inspection a year ago, the rules changed and now we need a new breaker for the more efficient hot water heater. The cost? An additional $185!! Since it was Flamingo's responsibility to call for the final inspection & they didn't-they should be paying for the additional cost required to now pass inspection! They refused. Stay away from a company who drops the ball on an inspection & then expects YOU to pay for their mistake. As a follow up to this review: I received a call from Flamingo offering to install the correct breaker at their cost. Unfortunately I had already had it taken care of. Then, they offered to contact the inspector & arrange for the new inspection. So, they seem to be trying, and I appreciate the help.

It is hard to trust a new trade. Flamingo came recommended and I am glad I called. They were very accommodating. Oscar came and addressed my issue - we determined what should be done and an estimate was presented. The work was done correctly the first time. Plumbing or electrical work is never cheap - if you want it done for less do it yourself. If you can't do it yourself - get a proper contractor - it might be pricy but it is worth the cost. I will use them again.
