These guys are very good at what they do but ridiculously expensive! I have know doubt you could get the same service in the area for considerably less. There appears to be know interest in establishing a relationship for future service needs but rather a focus on maximizing the charge per service call.

We've used them 3 times in 5 years and they have always been professional and prompt with the service we needed. One was for a kitchen sink fixture leaking and the others were to replace the flush valve on both toilets and also the toilet flappers. All of our service calls were handled by different F. J. Bero plumbers and they all were professional,
friendly and prompt.
They were recommended by our neighbor who has used them many times in his houses over his several years of living in Elgin.

We were experiencing problems with our pipes draining and backing up. It got so bad, I asked a friend who she would recommend. She gave me Bero's number and I was shocked they got someone, very knowledgable and were in and out in just over an hour. Reasonable, especially since it was like an emergency call.

I have only had one experience with this company, but I would highly recommend their services and would definitely hire them again. I needed a new water line installed on my refrigerator due to the recent cold weather freezing the last water line. Matt, their technician, immediately identified a solution that others had missed, and was able to return within a few days to complete the repair. He was prompt, professional, and addressed all my concerns. The work was done ahead of schedule with no fuss. He gave me advice for the future, but never made me feel like he was trying to make a sale. This company puts customers ahead of profits and stand behind their work. Highly recommend!
