As a former NASA scientist, I create very complex ""projects"" which require an extremely intelligent individual and skill level to properly complete. I also have owned 12 RVs and have gotten to know quite a few techs. Will is head and shoulders above all I have had work on my ""projects"". The last complex one, involved installing an AC unit where every other tech. said it was impossible. Will is so creative, intelligent, and skilled, he laid out a solution that was perfect and then executed. Rarely do you find those with the talent to create the solution and those capable of implementing as well. Even more impressive was he had the job done in around half the time expected, as he is that skilled. In addition to being technically capable, he also has an amazing eye for esthetics, making everything look cohesive and beautiful as well. I can tell you his work was so impressive that when I sold the last trailer, the new owners spent less than 10 minutes looking at the modifications and stated ""this is the only of its type in the world"". That's Will. He is that skilled. He may be expensive, but in the RV world you have a choice between mediocre work which is expensive, and top-notch work with is just a little bit more expensive. I prefer to have Will handle my projects...big and small, as he possesses critical thinking skills which are extremely rare these days. If he doesn't know the answer, he knows how to find the answer as well. I highly recommend him and am extremely particular about who I will allow to touch my RV. A friend hired another tech who spent a ton of her money and 2 weeks of time and left with everything worse than it was before. I sent Will to her, and he solved all of the problems in one afternoon. In general, you get what you pay for. With Fixin Dixon, you get MORE than you pay for.

Oh, he has a great sense of humor as well!

Spent nearly 2k fixing my Lance 1161 to get it ready to sell. William said the board was bad on the fridge when in fact it was just corroded wiring! He misdiagnosed my problem and I spent over 1k repairing my fridge for nothing! He broke my drain line when he removed my kitchen sink and tried to say it was already broken! Total bullshit William and you know it! He's very expensive for what you get! Lastly he's very unreliable in responding to texts and phone calls. Customer service isn't a big priority for him apparently since he has more business then he can handle! He broke my rig and misdiagnosed my problem and he still charged me! Avoid the headaches if you are smart!

If you had any ethics and integrity you wouldn't have charged me for the misdiagnosed fridge and broken drain line!

You saw the planes and toys and proceeded to rip me off!

Furthermore , I understand you are busy, not responding to texts and voicemails is unacceptable in the business world.

Think about it !

Was professional and helpful. He came out right away wasn't able to totally fix it but made it better than it was. Our problem needs to be fixed by a shop, take our RV in.

William made repairs that another mechanic told me had been made. He charged me a fraction of what he could have and spent several hours working on my furnace and propane supply without charging me. His repairs were done in a professional manner and William has a very likable personality, easy to get along with. He will not upsell you and finished the repair on a Sunday. I strongly recommend him.

Wow! This guy knows his stuff! I am so impressed with my experience I just had with Mr Dixon.

We bought a used travel trailer and took it on our first adventure and noticed some electrical and battery problems... We know a lot about trailers but very little about electrical and plumbing... We were also very nervous to turn on the water heater as the pilot light was full of dirt and looked like it could start a fire because it was in storage for so long.

We also didn't have a lot of cash after buying it so we found Fixin Dixon on Yelp... His reviews looked legit so I gave him a call on Sunday and he was out at our house on Tuesday. He walked us through everything and we found out the converter was shot. He showed us how to purchase and install it ourselves to save money. He consulted on other questions we had and really took the time to help us with everything including cleaning out our fridge and water heater systems which were very dirty. His prices were reasonable and he is a great guy.

I am recommending him to all of my friends with trailers and will absolutely use him again in the future. Now we know our trailer is safe and we made a good purchase and just need to do a little bit of tweaking. Such outstanding customer service and I love that he comes to you!

Mr. Dixon came to help us on his day off. He was friendly, patient, humorous, and trustworthy. He did not up-sell us at all. He fixed the problem after plenty of diagnostics and made it safe for us to travel home. He even spent a lot of time walking my husband through how to do other repairs our trailer needs but aren't currently in our budget. I was not looking forward to the unexpected bill, but I think we got a great value for all that he did. We'd definitely call Mr. Dixon again.

Update: Mr. Dixon called to make sure we got home safely given that we opted out of some non-emergency repairs. What fantastic customer service!

Fixin' Dixon is incredible! Highly recommend this service - Mr. William is great with communication, he shows up on time, his work is well-priced and top-notch quality, and his knowledge and skills are superior! He really takes pride in doing work the right way and figuring out the best and most economical solutions. Fixin' Dixon is also very focused on education - teaching RV/trailer owners how to take preventative care of their rigs to ensure a great experience out on the road. Mr. William got our slide out in perfect working order and we're going to have him back soon to install solar panels, as well. You can't go wrong with this locally owned, small business!
