We had a coupon from living social for air duct cleaning. The guy came out to our house and started saying there was bacteria in our system and we needed to pay extra for work that needed to be done. My husband refused the extra work and told them just to do the work for the coupon we bought. He started doing the work and 2 min later came in all angry and agitated and said he couldn't finish because there was too much bacteria, packed up and left. Seems, from other reviews I've read, this is pretty standard behavior for this company.

I called Fixurvent to have my air-duct cleaning and dryer-vent cleaning done on my house. The representative of the company did not have any equipment with him. He simply put his hand in the back of my dryer and took out the lint. He advised me that now my dryer would dry perfectly. I used my dryer that same night and still had to run my dryer two times. With the AC vents all he did was look at my AC and say that I needed to have my coils sanitized. He used no equipment whatsoever and just wanted to charge me extra money to have the coils of my AC sanitized. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I did not get the services I paid for.

I bought a Groupon for Advanced Duct Care which they subcontracted out to Fixurvent. The serviceman offered an upgrade with a year guarantee which included HVAC and UV system. I paid $350 for this service. He gave me a receipt which said """"terms and conditions set forth on the reverse side of this agreement with regard to these services."""" When i looked at the receipt later in the day I noticed there was no reverse side. I immediately emailed them but they never replied with a written guarantee. I also contacted Advanced Duct Care to complain about the company they contracted out to, but they never replied. I felt completely ripped off.

I contacted this company in regards to doing a duct cleaning via a livingsocial coupon. my coupon included all ducts being cleaned including supply vents. When the technician arrived to my house he said he couldnt do the cleaning because there was bacteria in my ducts and it needed to get a sanitation done. He sprayed ONE vent and charged me an additional $140 and left saying he couldnt clean the ducts because all the bacteria would get into his vacuum and he couldnt have that. They are supposed to have filters for this kind of thing and they still should have cleaned out the ducts. The technician was visibly upset with the amount of work needed to be done with my ducts and obviously did not want to be there. When i told him i couldnt afford the sanitation he used my kids as a means of telling me I had to get it done, but still would not clean the ducts even though I had already paid for it. When I finally got a hold of the company (After two days of calls and emails) they said they had to wait for the bacteria to dry but they still wont come to vacuum it out. So now I still have the same problem I had before but lost $140. I have filed a complaint with the BBB for their parent company, Fresh Air Solutions and would like a refund or for them to come out and clean the dust from my ducts.

DO NOT use this company! I had a groupon for vent cleaning, which was done on 12/23/14. As always, they sold us something else, dryer vent cleaning. Ok...another $150. When I went to use the dryer, guess what, the vent had not been attached to the hose and dust was flying all over. A call to them, asking that it be fixed first resulted in them telling us that for $50 they would install a new one. When we said it was ok before you came, the answer was that it was not long enough. Ok, so we said we'd buy a longer one, they agreed to install it. So, we buy a hose and they install it...now to do laundry. After the first load made incredible noise, I realized that the washer hose had not been checked to make sure it was fully placed into its receptacle. Now I have a flood on my floor. When everything was mopped up, I now have an entire wall behind the washer/ dryer that has to be painted due to water damage. Doubt they are capable of doing that. Lesson learned...fly by night company.

They got the vents clean. But, not happy with overall service. 1. No one could tell me what the additional cost could potentially be when I asked. 2. When you pay a company to do anything in your home, they typically don't sit on anyone's bed and text. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UPSETTING 3. There was water on the floor in my closet and the technician never mentioned anything. 4. My AC started leaking 2 days later. 5. The back and forth haggle in price for the """"additional"""" service was ridiculous. One price now, but if we have to come back it'll be more, but you need to do it now . Although this company is subcontracted through another, the company I purchased from addressed my concerns and spoke to this company. I have yet to hear anything from them.

Do NOT use this company. I got Totally scammed by them. I had a $50.00 groupon for vent cleaning which turns out nobody really needs unless you have mold or a dead rodent in your vents. Which we had neither of. They came to our house and told us we needed to spray to clean the system out. We weren't sure if we wanted to do it but he convinced us it was needed. He then sprayed a solution that I found online costs only $20 a gallon and did it in 20 minutes and then slapped us with a $350 bill!! What could we do at that point but pay him...we were idiots for agreeing to the process, I realize but the work (or lack of) was done. Im outraged that they go around doing this to customers and Groupon now knows about it. They Totally ripped us off and scammed us .
