Recommended Customer Reviews

The technician from this company came thru a Home Warranty Company and put up false diagnostic report without even taking a look at the issue. It appears their sole motive is to put up false reports and frisk customers with Service Call fees.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a plumber. We found him through our home warranty. He attempted to persuade me to pay him directly without using our home warranty which felt a little shady. Then he took two pictures and left....water was still leaking. We called him after the weekend to see if he was coming back after we got approval and he said """"I am not taking any home warranty clients anymore and if we wanted his help we would have to pay him full price directly! Well, if you are in the warranty network and accept our case and take our deductible payment finish the case!!! He then used us as leverage to elicit payment from the home warranty company and then tried to get us to pay full price! Worst business practices I have ever seen! Don't ever use this guy he is so unprofessional and I hope karma comes back on him! Shame on you.

One of the worst experiences. Simple job to re-attach a faucet to a disposal. What plumber tells the customer to purchase supplies? What plumber doesn't prep PVC and cements ends and immediately runs water(leaked all over my cupboards). What plumber disconnects a gas line and then re-attaches and doesn't check for leaks? Stay away from this company! Contracted thru' Lowe's- insist on another plumber

Do not use this subcontractor from Lowe's to replace a broken toilet flange! Lowe's uses Fix-R-Us as a subcontractor for plumbing. I contracted Lowe's to replace a toilet in the master bathroom. The toilet flange was rusted apart on one side so Fix-R-Us said they would have to replace it before they proceeded with the toilet installation. A Fix-R-Us representative called me stating that it would be $150 to replace the broken toilet flange. Rather than completely REPLACE the flange to the main drain pipe, the installer REPAIRED it with a metal flange repair ring ($5.50 at Lowe's). A few hours after the repair was completed, Lowe's called to say the total repair bill was $214! I disputed this stating that should not cost more to install one ring and three screws then it would to install the entire toilet ($119) toilet. The Fix-R-Us plumber was knowledgeable, quick, and courteous, as was his assistant. Lowe's offered to reduce my portion of the repair bill to $75 and they would cover the rest. If you have 15 minutes, you may be able to repair a broken toilet flange yourself for less than $10. Don't let Fix-R-Us do it unless you want to waste lots of money.

Fix-R-Us installed a dishwasher we purchased from Lowes. A guy came out and removed our old dishwasher (which worked fine, it was just not a very good one) and installed the new one. The very first time we tried to run the dishwasher, it did not work AT ALL. The first run took about 8 hours, never actually finished, and eventually displayed an error code stating that """"drainage was not possible"""". I called Fix-R-Us and the owner, Mike, tried to walk me through the problem. Once we tried a couple of things that did not work, he shifted to a position that it was something I had done wrong. When asked if he was sending someone to correct this problem, he said, and this is pretty close to verbatim; """"we were hired to install the dishwasher, connect it to the disposal, level it and that's all"""". I was stunned. When I protested, he replied """"call Lowes"""" and hung up. I called Lowes and they are sending someone else out to fix it in about a week. Now we will be without a dishwasher over Christmas, I hope our family enjoys doing dishes. I would avoid Fix-r-us like the plague.

I found this company through Lowe's. They installed a new kitchen sink and reinstalled 2 bathroom sinks after I had new countertops installed. Their technician Darnell was very professional and did an excellent job. They communicated well and their prices were reasonable. I plan to have them do additional plumbing work for me soon. I recommend them.

Can not recommend this outfit. Did not take adequate precautions when starting job, resulted in a mess they did not take responsibility for. Left us hanging. Use at your own risk.

They are professional and will make sure and complete the job until the customer is satisfied. I would recommend them.
