The next step was scheduling. He set an appointment for three days later. In advance of the appointment he sent text reminders, including one 24 hours before the appointment. He not only showed up on time, but called me the day of the appointment to see if I would like him to come earlier.

I called Nick because I had a light fixture that was buzzing and flickering on/off consistently and also because I had managed to make a whole in my living room wall with my recliner chair (?).
His voicemail said to text for convince, which I did, and he responded in good time.

He came and assessed the situations very thoroughly and explained all the possible reasons and all the possible outcomes of whatever work gets done. The next day he gave me a price quote with which he was willing to negotiate and we reached a deal. The following week (he'd had some vacation days pre-planned, which is understandable and I was not in any particular hurry), he came by and was able to fix the light issue with total ease...so easy in fact, he knocked off some of the agreed upon work cost (especially because we saved a bit on material).

The wall was a painful process because it turned out I had electrical wiring right behind the whole. Nick came up with an idea to be able to so a strong patch where the whole was...this took him time of course, but he worked it out. Because the patch wasn't drying fast enough (and I didn't have a standing fan in the house to speed up the process) he agreed to come back then next morning to texture the patch, and then came back later to paint it. This is extremely admirable of him since it took 3 visits and ultimately the wall looked perfect as if there never was a whole.

Each time he came he was very timely and professional. He worked within my own schedule and cleaned up after himself very well.

Nick is an experienced and talented young man who really means it when he says ""no job is too small"". I plan on bringing Nick back for more jobs as they surely will pop up. His pricing is very reasonable, he is very timely, talented and professional.

I had a bad experience with a former Handyman and have been hesitant to give another Handyman a try. I'm happy to say that Nick has shown me that there are still good people out there. Nick is great! He responds very quickly, is prompt and pleasant, and has very reasonable prices. To accommodate me, he was willing to work with my schedule. Communication is key! Nick responded to all questions. Courteous, friendly and professional. Nick installed a kitchen faucet and replaced shut off valves and water supply lines, garbage disposal and shower head and S bar. Additionally, 7 outlets were replaced too. He also removed a wood rotted balcony railing...AND HAULED AWAY!!
I felt his estimate was reasonable and had no hesitation asking him to return to do more much needed work around my broke down palace!
