Had them here on a Saturday emergency call. Great service! Response time great! Rates are justified for emergency call. I seen a complaint about parking, as a service tech, people should know the story, before posting negative stuff. Company don't provide a special plates for employees. Excellent work fix it!
Matt A.Jeremy and his helper were here on time, as promised. They identified the problem and installed our new toilet correctly. They were professional, explained what was wrong with the previous installation, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. We are new to the area and glad that we called Fix It Plumbing. We will certainly make a call to them the next time we have a plumbing need.
Jacquelyn A.The Fix-It Plumbing owner made a big stink about being paid. He had no reason to be concerned since he WAS paid even though they didn't do the job. He was paid what he quoted. He sent out improperly inexperienced plumbers who did not do the work I asked for. The work was way overpriced for the quality of workmanship. No experienced plumber would fail to caulk around the kitchen faucet so that water leaks from the bottom of the faucet constantly but they didn't. It should not take two times to hook up a dishwasher hose and never repair the undersink leaking pipe. Because they were out here twice I thought they'd repaired the undersink pipe during one of the visits. They were not only paid to hook up a dishwasher hose. I told them when I discovered it that they hadn't repaired it. It is NOT a new problem. I didn't go into the undersink cabinet very much. When I did I found all the rags wet. Thank God I had them under the sink or my new cabinets would be totally ruined.
I paid for the kitchen faucet to be put in on another call. The plumber did not caulk around the bottom and water leaked constantly into the kitchen sink down into the unrepaired leaking under sink pipe. I had previously paid them to repair the leaking under sink pipe and hook up the dishwasher at the same time. I did not pay them only to hook up the dishwasher which took them two times to do since the plumber was inexperienced. I didn't realize they had never repaired the under sink pipe when they hooked up the dishwasher hose. I can't use the dishwasher because of the leaking water. They were actually overpaid because they didn't do what I paid for. I didn't realize they hadn't repaired the undersink pipe. I shouldn't have to tell them to do so, it was part of the estimate.
One night there was a geyser of water coming out of the pipe. My dog was barking frantically to wake me up to see it. I ran out to the kitchen at 2am and it was coming out of the unrepaired pipe. I had already repaired and replaced the kitchen floor and replaced the kitchen cabinets. The leaking pipe and geyser of water coming from the pipe flooded the entire kitchen floor re-damaging the repaired and replaced kitchen flooring. I had to shut the water off at the street and not use the kitchen sink ever again. I found out by accident they hadn't repaired the kitchen pipe after that geyser of water and the wet rags under it. I notified them that they had never repaired the kitchen pipe from when they hooked up the dishwasher. They didn't do anything about it. I had to notify the Attorney General of this fraud. All I wanted was what I paid for. I wasn't asking for anything more to be done that was new.
Carl V.Would be really great if you actually taught your drivers the difference between a regular parking spot and a handicap parking spot at Lowes in Sanford. Your driver in the truck with license plate HR-5851 is obviously incapable of comprehending the signs posted.
Karen H.Illegally parked in handicapped parking for over an hour. When I called the company, they told me to call Lowes. Lots of regular parking available.
Rich G.Great guys!! I came home from vacation on Wednesday night to find the expansion tank on my water heater leaking badly. I turned off the water to the house and when I inspected it, the tank fell right off - it had rusted through at the fitting!. I purchased a new one on Thursday, but quickly realized I couldn't remove the rest of the old rusted pipe so I started calling plumbers. Most of them wanted to either charge me double for ""emergency repairs"" or a service fee and an hourly rate. Not Fix It Plumbing. They quoted me a flat hourly rate and said they could have someone out on Friday morning, and I would get a courtesy call when they were headed my way. As promised, I got a call at 8:30 this morning asking if it was a convenient time for them to come over. Marshall and Jeremy arrived less than 10 minutes later and, after a quick assessment, Marshall was able to remove the piece of the old rusted pipe and install the new tank. Because it took so little time, Marshall gave me a 10% discount since I am a military veteran. I will definitely use Fix It Plumbing again!!
Very happy. Tim was the plumber they sent out. They called ahead and Tim arrived on time. I provided all the parts and Tim replaced all the inside parts in our toilet tanks. He was did this in about two hours for three toilets and I was charged $160. This was done about a month and a 1/2 ago and everything is working great! Highly recommend!!
Stewary M.Very courteous. Didn't charge us for the small fix it job they had to do for us. It was our first time using them and they just told us ""no charge.""
Neil Coggins owner of Fix it Plumbing is very expensive and his work is unreliable. He replaced my water heater today, Friday, 6.30.17 and wired the water heater incorrectly, almost causing my home to burn to the ground. Thanks to an emergency call to Duke energy company, they came out and re-wired the water heater. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
My water heater finally went to water heater heaven after almost 20 years. I had a service plan from Duke Energy that covered it even though it was gas. Fix-It Plumbing was the contractor they sent. The owner, Neil, was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. I had hot water again that day. I soon received in the mail a professional invoice with my credit card receipt. Also a thank you card mailed separately with a 10% discount. Both signs of the utmost in professionalism. (They have similar discounts listed on their website.)
I highly recommend them and the Water Heater plan that Duke Energy offers. For the $5.99 a month I paid for one year it was worth the $1000 they covered. There was no problem cancelling once the new one was installed and covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
