After seeing their ad on NextDoor for $77 off, I scheduled a furnace cleaning/inspection. I ended up paying more for disassembling the furnace for deep cleaning, and then more for a replacement capacitor. Then right before he left, the tech found a ""gas leak"". So it's either another $300... or he suggested at this point I should think about replacing the entire furnace, because ""the average furnace lifespan is 10-15 years (FALSE)."" I told him I wished he'd checked the gas leak at the beginning so we could have skipped all the other expensive repairs.

Not once did he mention that the replacement capacitor, the ""gas leak"", or a replacement furnace would have been covered under my home warranty (he knew I'd lived there under a year). Additionally, he quoted $6,000-8,000 for a replacement furnace which a quick google search tells me is FALSE.

So after paying $289, which he stated is a great discount, I had Xcel Energy come out to check this ""gas leak"" - which they did not find ANY evidence of. Xcel's tech, who said he worked in HVAC for 10 years, told me that my furnace could last 25 years.

So the tech (who may work on commission) outright lied to me several times, and exaggerated the need for further services. I told him my company is about to have layoffs and money is tight and he showed zero sympathy and went on to tell me about the possibility about the furnace exploding from the ""gas leak""!!!

After letting the manager know all this, he did refund my $289. Hence the one star.

I called these guys to come out and fix my heater after I bought a new house. The previous owners used them to service my heater prior to me moving in, so I figured I would call them back out after I moved in and found that the heater wasn't staying on. They couldn't figure out my problem and kept telling me that I needed to replace my inducer motor, at a price well above $1000. After doing some further research on my own I found that the condensate trap was plugged and caused there to be water in the system. Neither the guy that came out to service it before I bought the house, nor the guy that came out to try to get the unit back up and running were able to figure out the problem.

I didn't get to actually have the service as I had to cancel early in the morning. But I was able to make the appointment via email which as someone with a very frantic schedule during the week is much appreciated. Someone called to follow up about the plumbing issue after I canceled via email, and it was agreed upon that the non-urgent task (replacing zone valve) will be done at a later date. I can't attest to the quality of the work but I think they have the process behind the scene worked out well. I'll definitely contact them again, and since our complex had so many issues with plumbing companies before it will be easy to recommend them to the HOA.

01/15/2018 Update:
Uhm... I guess I should update this review from four stars to one star. I had emailed them and let them know that I didn't need service after all, and that I would call them when I do need the work done. Someone had called the same day the work was anyway, which is cool. But after that I received daily phone calls checking in trying to schedule the work. Even when I did pick it up and said to the lady that I WILL LET THEM KNOW, and that very nicely so, they continued to call daily. It is now at the level of harassment. I just very clearly again told the lady to stop calling me. We shall see if they do. It is a stupid way to conduct business. I certainly will not have them do any work at any of the units in the complex here.

This company is sucks. They gave me a time window of 1pm to 5pm. I called them at 4:40 to find out the status. They called back at 4:40 saying they weren't going to make it. No apology or nothing. They dont add up to all their great reviews.

The people are extremely friendly and easy to work with. It's easy to schedule. But the prices are exorbitant and ridiculous. I can easily find companies with the same positive qualities as this company for a fraction of the cost of this company. And, unfortunately, I recently scheduled a tune-up (ONLY because they called and told me I had a $55 credit on my account I knew nothing about) and have left that experience feeling scammed. The Technician was extremely friendly, great guy. However, perhaps a bit of a smooth talker. He almost convinced me to purchase an electronic furnace filter for $1,200. Thank God I had the clarity of mind to check online before signing on the dotted line and found them available for $150. First red flag. He had shown and explained to me that my capacitor failed prematurely and that the erosion and rust around my coils was due to excessive dust on my unit and will cause major failures of the unit if the dust is allowed to continue to build up. Second red flag. It didn't really make sense that dust could cause erosion. So, I took a step back, told him I needed to do my research before I spend that kind of money. He kept pushing and trying to give me all these ""deals"", but I just frankly didn't have that kind of money he was asking me to fork out at the ready. So, I told him I would get back to him, go ahead and replace the capacitor and finish the tune-up and give me a chance to do my research. I could tell he wasn't very happy with that, but I don't really appreciate the car salesman feel. I need to do my research, plain as that. Don't try to take that away from me, or remove the ""deal"" you're willing to give to me because I want to be educated in what I'm spending my money on.

Little did he know I used to do office work for an HVAC company in another state. I consulted with them, as well as another company here in CO and they both told me the same thing. All the ""issues"" the Tech was telling me about are completely normal wear and tear on the unit and cannot be fixed by an electronic filter. Electronic filters are mostly used in homes with people with asthma and allergies, not as a means to ""protect"" your unit. Units get dusty, there's no way to avoid that, they're meant to work in dusty environments. Think of all the units in crawl spaces and on the top of roofs, locations full of dust.

Unfortunately, I have to give this company a low review. For their prices and for this experience, which literally left me with a headache and completely stressed out.

I received a voicemail last night from Mariah letting me know I had a credit on my account for $52.38 from a past service. I've since moved out of state so I called the company back to ask that the ""credit"" be mailed to me. I was told that it was a credit only for new work and that they were unable to mail me the overage.

This is clearly a bait-and-switch tactic used by the company to manipulate new service. In any other context a ""credit on your account"" implies the customer overpaid. I told the representative I spoke with this morning that this was misleading. There was silence on the line for a bit and then she repeated that this was only for new work. What a shameful business practice!

When marketing ""creativity"" like this becomes unethical manipulation it crosses the line.

I needed a furnace check up and vent work done for a hole and a crack. I was told on the phone when scheduling that the serviceman would have venting supplies and a furnace filter in his car. I agreed to pay $50 for the drive out and $100 for the tuneup. When he arrived he said he did not have a furnace filter and that I could get one on my own. He also didn't have venting supplies available. He said he had measured the distance of the new venting that needed to be installed and he would call me back later with a price. The price should be no more than $20-30 and that the work could be done next day. Never got a call, had to call back the next day. Surprise! The cost of the work would be $220. I said I wanted to talk to a manager or sales representative because this was outrageous. The work looks like it would take 20 minutes at most and the material is cheap. They said they would get back to me that day. Never got a call back. That was Thursday. No call Friday or Monday. I called today, they tried to tell me that the price was actually $280 and they were giving me a ""deal"".I won't be using this company again and would highly recommend against it. There is a complete lack of communication within the company from top to bottom. There is also no concept of customer service. What the original serviceman told me the original day was never honored. One of the managers even said that they were including another drive out fee, which was explicitly not part of the original deal. I wouldn't trust a single person in this company to give you an honest response. They have no regard for your time, money, or patience.

I scheduled an appointment 6 days in advance for a plumbing issue. I made arrangements to take half a day off of work for the appointment, The day of the appointment they called and said one of their employees was ""doing bad stuff"" so they asked if it would be possible to reschedule. I explained that I had already taken off work. The lady said she would call me back and that someone would be at my home by 4:00. She never called back and they never showed up. Very unprofessional
