Recently our 3rd floor heat pump gave up after 15 years. Knowing that I have a limited lifespan on exact same heat pump on the 2nd floor I decided to get quotes to replace both rather than get stuck in the dead of summer with no A/C on the sleeping area floor. I checked consumer reports which gave American Standard the best repair rating out of all major heat pump brands. So I requested quotes from two AM Standard dealers and AirMax came in significantly less. I am always leery of taking the lowest bid but I couldn't find negative reviews online so we went with AirMax and American Standard. We could not have been more pleased with their work. They arrived when they said they would, were very careful when moving equipment in and out of our house during the installation and Clayton, who originally quoted us the replacement, checked in multiple times over the day and a half the installation took. He also provided us with all the warranty and rebate paperwork we needed for filing. We are very satisfied with the end result and in all of our dealings with AirMax, SC. I would recommend them highly for any HVAC needs.

Company dosent delvier!! Customer care and customer service is horrible. They have cancelled 5 appointments in a row since April. Once for a HVAC systenm checkup - that we were """"going too"""" have bad weather - I laughed as I was flying our on an airplane and no weathr at all. ThIts a money grab - find another. So much for a Preferred status - never get a compnay rep it's always the call in center. They dont care. Customer call center is horrible. Do not recommend - run away. Found another sewrvice compnay.

Ryan was our service technician today; he was extremely professional and courteous. Ryan did a great job tuning up both of our AC units. He was extremely knowledgeable. Max's Fix it should be grateful Ryan works for them!! Thank you, Ryan, for all your hard work today!!

Finally got around to having our heat/ac checked. I had called around/checked out supposed deals from other places, but ultimately decided Airmax wasn't going to be any more expensive than anyone else and a friend had suggested them, so I call them. Airmax is efficient and friendly and just what we needed. The service tech was very knowledgeable and even wore shoe protectors before coming into the house...and he passed our dog's scrutiny too! From the start of making the appointment to writing the check, we were 100% satisfied...and trust me, we aren't that easy to please! We were educated, no hard core sales and actually felt we were treated honestly. Definitely the people to do business with!

Fix-it24/7 came to repair my AC was not cooling,the technician was courteous and did a good job. However, their prices are outrageous. I had a bad fan that needed replacing, originally they wanted $2300, I told the technician that was too much and I told him I couldn't pay anymore than $1500. He talked to his boss and they agreed to $1500. Later on he said my freon was low and needed 2 lbs of freon. I asked him how much and he said it would be an additional $400 for the freon. Needless to say, I passed on the freon. I will never use this company again!

Emergency response for a water leak Called at 4:30PM. Received a return message at 7:30 PM stating that they don't have after hours plumber. They can put me on for tomorrow Don't believe the hype about fixing stuff around the clock. All they have is an answering service that answers the phone. No actual plumber on call.

A/C Leaking water. Called over the busy weekend . Gavin Responded Did a great job. Another situation developed Randy arrived quickly came over and fixed all the issues. All around Fantastic Highly reccomended

Michael came out on a Saturday morning to repair an AC unit. He offered several options that helped me save some money and prepare me for what I'll need to do with the system in the future. Service was quick and courteous. Good job!

Pressure sales is not what I look for in a company that clams they look out for the home owner. I had Fix-It 24/7 come out to give me an estimate on replacing my entire heating and cooling system, in which they did. I informed him I was getting two more quotes (due to this is a lot of money to my family and I) and I would have an answer to him by the next day, which I did. The price they gave me went up over $2000 due to not excepting their do it now. Action like this causes customers to feel manipulated, pressured, and taken advantage of.
