Our home warranty sent Peter to check our water heater. He called to let me know he could come the same day rather than waiting for the next day.

Peter arrived and was dressed very professionally in a nice clean uniform and was friendly, gregarious and knowledgeable. I believe that the way you dress is a clue to your character (detail-oriented, work-conscious, reliable,etc.) Answered our questions patiently.

He submitted the work order and got a response the next morning and proceeded to call me for a follow-up. He was able to squeeze me in the same day for a total replacement.

His guys ran into a bit of trouble and he came to help after 8pm and stayed till the job was completed to his satisfaction...till after 10pmon a Friday night!

Totally would recommend this company for reliable, honest and friendly service.

Very dishonest, deceptive, impolite, rude and unprofessional. He looked at my gas water heater and claimed it needed a Control Valve which was not available an the whole unit should be changed at a cost of $2775.00. My Home warranty did not believe it and was willing to pay for the control valve only.
Since we couldn't wait any longer without hot water, I looked at it myself and realized it just needed cleaning, even if I wanted to change the part that was causing the issue, it was available at HomeDepot, very common part.
After 30 minutes, it started working fine with no issues and without replacing any parts.
I contacted Peter by text and asked him if it was possible to get my share of the mis-diagnostic fee back but he stopped responding without saying yes or no. He also gave me a lot of false information about how the unit worked.

Had a urgent issue with the back-flow device. Had to turn water off completely at my home on a Thursday afternoon. Called a couple places. Spoke to Peter at Five Star and texted pictures. He was at my home completing repair at 5pm that evening. Incredible customer service. I recommend 5 Star
