Ed and team are highly professional. I've used them before and recently when I had problems with my tankless hot water system, they effected repairs using top quality components at a reasonable price and with as little disruption as possible. Also, they gladly answered my myriad of questions to help me get a better understanding of how to maintain the system going forward. Ultimately the new setup is much better than what I had before and I believe it will last for many years to come thanks to Five Star Solutions.

Came back from vacation after the infamous bomb cyclone that annihilated Massachusetts. Anyway, the pipes in my house burst and these guys came right away. I don't know much about plumbing but they seemed very knowledgeable and showed me where the leaks were and proceeded to replace all the broken pipes in a timely fashion.

Plumbers are generally expensive but i feel with the amount of work and expertise these guys put in, my family got a bargain. Would recommend for any plumbing needs. Haven't used their other services.

Requested a shower diverter valve fix.
First thing out of their mouth was ""need to cut a hole in the wall""!
Seriously, the valve cartridge is replaceable - no hole necessary.
Sent him packing.

Had a lot of water damage from a leak in my dishwasher. When I finally had the tile in my kitchen replaced, I was told the day they came that I needed to have a plumber disconnect my gas stove, my refrigerator ice maker and my bathroom toilet....that day! I could not get anyone to come out. After 6 calls to plumbers who either said they were too busy or just never called me back, I got in touch with Ed who agreed to come to my home on short notice. Not only did he do the job that day, he came back on Xmas eve to reinstall everything as well as a disposal and new kitchen faucet. Thanks to Ed and his team, my kitchen was back to normal for Xmas. I am so grateful. Would give them 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend Five Star Solutions. Very professional, friendly and reasonable prices.

My hot water heater went on a Saturday night. On Sunday evening I sent out a few requests for estimates to replace both the hot water heater and the ancient boiler (30+ years old). I didn't expect to hear back from anyone on a Sunday night, but Ed responded to my message within a few hours and was able to set up an appointment with me for the next morning. He was very responsive to my questions and concerns. I decided to move forward with his proposal on Tuesday night, and he was able to come to the house the next day to replace the hot water heater. The boiler was fully installed and functional by Thursday afternoon, and he handled the inspection on Friday, so that I wouldn't have to stay home another day. He and his team were very professional and I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough about Ed and Five Star Solutions. We have used Five Star two times in the last year, once for our furnace and once for our air conditioning. Both times Ed was professional, courteous, and on-time. When our furnace went out in the winter it was an emergency, and even being first time customers he came immediately. The thing I like the most about our service from Five Star is the time Ed has taken to explain all of our options to us. I feel that he is on our side, and not just trying to sell me service or parts that we don't need. His pricing has been excellent, and I feel I have gotten what I have paid for which is excellent service and a job well done. We will now be using Five Star for prevention and maintenance of both our systems going forward. I highly recommend Five Star!

My 17 year old oil fed, forced hot air furnace would not ignite the fuel. Of course this happend during an intense cold snap this winter. I called Five Star Solutions late in the evening to come and see what they could do. I described the problem and the items I checked during my troublshooting efforts. They scheduled a 7:30am apointment. They were on time, they diagnosed the problem (bad fuel pump), had the part on the truck and installed it quickly.
They are super friendly, knowledgable and price friendly.
I would not hesitate to recomend them to anyone.

Had this company come out to bid on an oil-to-gas heating conversion project for a house I'd recently purchased. They sent Ed D. out to take a look and he seemed knowledgable and friendly enough. Where this fell apart was after that point. Ed promised to get back to me with a bid within a week. After two weeks went by I called the office and inquired about status. They told me they would get back to me by the end of the day. No call. Three days later I called again, same story and no call back. I have no problem with someone not wanting to bid a job, but at least be professional about it and let the customer know either way. FiveStar? Nope, more like OneStar.

Five stars for five star! Water heater died on me and needed a new one in a hurry. Called a couple of people and Five Star's price was right on target, a tad lower than everyone else.

What really impressed me was he rushed right out to replace it, even though it was a holiday - and didn't charge me extra. Did a great job, at a great price - and he was just a nice guy.

Hope to not have any more plumbing issues for a while but if I do I'll definitely be calling them again.
