I called and asked 2 simple questions about home warranty coverage. After the man claimed to have no knowledge of anything other than time slots I asked to speak to someone that could better help me. I was immediately hung up on and have continuously tried to call back with the call being ignored over and over again.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS. There are plenty of other plumbers in the area willing to help.

I've recently left the paid workforce and am now the full time domestic engineer, slowly tackling the huge "some day we'll get to that", aka "round tuit" list. Slow draining bathroom sink was project dujour few days ago. When my respectable DIY skills failed me, I began looking for a reputable plumber, having been through quite a few in the past. I'm DELIGHTED to say I think we finally have a keeper! Rickey called on his way to our house, and he LISTENED as I described what I'd done thus far and why I thought a drain camera could be a good idea. He agreed, stopped for the camera, came to the house fully prepared to get the job done in one visit (small "YAY!" here). As he worked he patiently and thoroughly answered my numerous curiosities. It all made sense, and I never once felt hoodwinked, or talked down to, a HUGE pet peeve, especially being female. I was ready to go ahead with hydro jet clearing our drain lines, and he suggested that he didn't feel it was necessary now, and if we did have it done, few years down the road would make more sense. I can't remember the last time somebody told me to hold on to my money (huge "YAY!" here). I'd feared this would be a plumbing nightmare when I had to call in a professional; it turned out to be relatively small potatoes, with us finding a "keeper" plumber along the way. Now I have someone I'm comfortable calling when the next "round tuit" plumbing issue/project is on deck. I felt the charge was reasonable, too.

Needed a sewer unclogged from my parents rental unit.
After using two drain cleaning rotor rooter individuals who both tried
and failed, I was told by a couple of larger companies they were too busy and couldn't come out until a few days. This job was urgent.
Mike Genson came out within the time quoted (same day). He worked in the rain for a while and eventually unclogged it. Price was reasonable and Mike was professional. Will be using them again when needed.

We own a rental property in San Antonio and we received a call from a tenant at approximately 8:00 PM stating there was a large water leak at the "water box" near the street. We recently had this same large water leak so we were frantic to get it fixed asap so our tentants weren't without water for a couple of days...again :( We called multiple plumbers, most of which never returned our call until the next day. The others couldn't tell us an ETA, which we desperately needed so we could inform our tenants. After reading another yelpers review, we decided to call Five Star Plumbing. First kudo, they answered our phone call! Michael immediately took down our information and said he'd relay the message to the plumber asap. My husband was en route to the property (about a 50 minute drive) and after just a short 5 minute wait, David the plumber arrived! He was polite and professional. David quickly determined the issue (possible faulty part installed at the last repair) and had our tenants' water service up and running in about 1 hour! We were so thankful and relieved! Even though the repair was after hours and on short notice, the price was very reasonalbe. We are making Five Star Plumbing our plumber for our investment properties. Thank you so much!!!!

Excellent Service!!! -We had to call a plumber after hours this past week, after several calls to different plumbing companies we decided to have Five star plumbing come out. The plumber that came out was Julian Hernandez he was upmost professional, efficient, and respectable young man. It was 8:30PM and Five Star plumbing was very reasonable in pricing for being after hours. They will be our plumber of choice from now on. Highly Recommend them!

I can't praise Five Star Plumbing enough for being the #1 most outstanding plumbing company that I have ever hired. I was in the middle of an emergency at 11pm at night, and 5 Star Plumbing was the only plumbing company out of 5 that returned my call - and all the companies said that they were 24 hour companies. And they not only provided excellent support but were reasonable in their rates and provided a full explanation of the issues at hand. I hired them twice and on both occasions and both times they were superb. SO refreshing to have folks who are competent, caring and competitively priced.

I have used 5 star at work and we have always had wonderful service from them. Now I am using them for my own home. Yesterday Mark came out and took care of my water pressure issues. I also joined their maintenance program and I am a very happy customer. I would recommend them and give them a 5 star rating.

I must have been lucky that day, when I called Five Star, these guys are good and most important very reasonable in quoting the job and sticking to it. But they also do not have TV. Commercials with their families and taking it out on the costumer to pay for them. Service man was very professional and courteous,quoted the job and stuck to it. 90 day warranty also.They were also concerned about finding and recommending another company to repair sheet-rock after they were done (plumbing leak in wall). DON'T OVER PAY. There are other good plumbing companies that do not make TV. commercials.
