We have previously used another company for plumbing issues, with each visit resulting in progressively subpar work. After one such episode, I had to go behind the job and do some corrections. While getting supplies to fix the shoddy work I was at a local plumbing supply store explaining the issue and a Five Star tech was at the counter and told me how to do it best. His advice worked like a charm. He provided free, friendly advice without saying he should come to look at it (and subsequently charge us). We knew there was an existing problem that was going to require a very invasive and expensive solution that we were waiting to save up the finances to address. Because of the reoccurring issues with the other company, we decided to call Five Star because of the friendly technician at the supply store. The Five Star team that came out gave us a much simpler, less invasive, and less expensive solution. Not only that, they explained why the other, more expensive solution could end up encountering more problems with subsequent higher costs. The very friendly team came back in a timely fashion and fixed the problem, with care, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up after the work. Not only will we call Five Star the next time we have plumbing needs, but will enthusiastically recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

For the second time in as many years I made the error of hiring Jeremy and 5 star plumbing. Jeremy removes a hand full of tree roots job is done. My main line backed up about a week later. They don't warranty removal of tree roots and I doubt anything else either. About $248 something. Last time I had to hire someone else that said they had gone to many of his jobs and did what Jermey fails to do which is to do the job right the first time. It has been years and he has gotten no better at the job he does. I hope my memory serves me better in the future. Tim Lucas 621 East Main St Siloam.

Ed and crew seem to operate u set the delusion that you can do sub standard work mis bill and still expect to be treated fairly. Seams to me business is simple. Do your work correctly the first time, get your invoicing correct, the first time and receive payment. I guess Ed and crew do not understand that principle.

Five Sar Plumbing is exactly what it's name says. I often worry about plumbing/electric that are hourly. Edward and his son wasted no time. They gave quick quotes that were very reasonable. I know who I will call whenever I have a plumbing issue. (I had originally called because I could not figure out the hot water thinking it was broken. It wasn't. Edward was kind and let me know why the pipes were backwards from the builders. However, it was at this time he noticed an improperly installed water heater that could have been disastrous. I know Five Star Plumbing could have charged me an arm and leg for it, but he did not take advantage of the situation. Thank you 5 Star! (I usually don't do reviews, so writing this review means they were excellent!)

I had a difficult situation with a preexisting plumbing issue from the build. The fix was difficult, but they helped me out and corrected my problem. Highly recommend

I had been having a problem with my sink, garbage disposal and toilet that all drain into the same line. I had called another company and they came out 3 times and the problem did not get fixed. I called Five Star Plumbling and they fixed the problem on the first try. Also had them do some replumbing behind my washer. Jeremy did a great job on both issues. He was very nice, polite and got the job done. Will use them again if I ever have need of a plumber!

Due to the 5-star reviews on Google Maps, I let Five Star Plumbing handle a small job for me at my house, expecting 5-star service. The first problem was it took an hour and six call attempts to get through--every phone number, from Google Maps to their own website, was ""not in service."" Then suddenly the phone number started working. Full mailbox? Turned off? I have no idea. If I hadn't been so starry-eyed, I would have gone for another plumber, as a non-working phone number isn't a good first impression. Oh well, I pressed on and finally got through to someone who scheduled me in.

Very courteous. Very prompt. They sent out a man named Jose, who had a partner with him. Jose demonstrated that he knew what he was talking about--there was a slight ""belly"" under one of the exposed PVC sewer pipes that needed dug down a little to create the proper slope, and he said they could also easily fix a pipe fitting that was improperly attached. The latter is the reason I had called them out there, but I had not been aware of the belly under the pipe, and that explained some other issues we'd been having.

Great. I was impressed. I had already dug down to and exposed the 20+ feet of sewer piping, since I'm able bodied, have worked construction myself and don't need to pay exorbitant prices for someone else to do basic manual labor. All that was needed was a little bit more digging under the center of the pipe, and a better connection at one of the joints. When I asked for a price, Jose said, ""A couple of guys, for a couple of hours, $400-600."" I accepted, not because it was a great price, but because I trusted him and wanted it done well, and if they ran into difficulties and it got up to $600, they dealt with it. That was fine by me.

He came back a couple days later to do the job, saying he needed to get the right parts. He came back with just one extra set of hands. I was out at the time and my wife was home, because the time for him to come had changed multiple times over several days, so I wasn't able to be there, but no harm done--I was sure he'd do a great job..

After I got home, I looked at my security feed and saw that he had come and gone in just under an hour. ""Wow!"" I thought. ""I guess it was even easier than he thought. Glad I spent all those hours digging up the pipes myself.""

Then I got an invoice in my email for $600. $600 for one hour of labor and parts.

I called 5 Star Plumbing. Hannah answered and, when I expressed my concern, she first told me Jose was ""someone extra we use when we have a lot of work."" Then she said she'd send him a message to have him call me.

He called me a short time later. Two non truths came up during the phone conversation that really proved that he was not above board, despite him saying over a dozen times, ""I'm not trying to cheat you,"" and they were these statements:
1. ""The other day, I came and looked at it and said $600-700, so I told the office $600.""
2. ""I was there for an hour-and-a-half.""

I reminded him that he had actually said $400-600, not $600-700. I had written it down and told my wife immediately after, as we discussed the price. Meaning he either truly did forget what he quoted me, in which case that shows complete disregard for the customer's wallet to be indifferent about a several hundred dollar memory error, or he straight lied, hoping I wouldn't remember. Neither scenario is acceptable.

As for the second untruth, he said he was at my house an hour-and-a-half, and that they rounded up to 2 hours. I stopped him right there and told him, ""Well I have a security camera, and I clocked you in at 9:58, and you left at 10:56."" Technically not even one hour. Yet he rounded up to two hours, at a rate of $189 an hour.

Ultimately he said he had charged me 3 hours of labor, and $50 in materials. At the end, he knocked off 30 minutes, so I paid for 2.5 hours of labor... 1.5 hours of that being for ""materials collection"" and the 15 minutes he spent diagnosing the problem the first day when he came out.

There's my experience. You decide if you want to hire 5-star plumbing.

Five Star plumbing out of Siloam Springs was great to work with. I live in NE Oklahoma and needed someone to ""scope"" my lateral line. They were the only plumbing company that did this service in the area. Although they were 48 miles away, they did come. The technician that came was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained every-thing that we saw on the screen. In the end, they did cut me a break on the mileage which I appreciated. The end result is I got enough information to make an informed decision on what I was going to do. Thank you very much for being there for us. Ron
