So, I had an appointment from 11-1 and they didn't show till 3PM. This was a backed-up sewer. The first guy arrives at 3 PM and says he has everything cleared, then a second guy arrives at 4PM and he put a snake in as well. Then they said I needed a camera down the pipe and at this point I was completely overwhelmed. He said he had the camera down there for an hour, but it was more like 30 minutes. I was like a deer in the headlights, I didn't know what to do. It was a one-man job and somehow it became a way bigger job than what I intentionally wanted. The only thing I think I could have done is asked the second guy to leave, which is weird. You would think in this economy we have now that they would try to help people instead of the opposite. It's like they were making more work for themselves. So, they said they were coming back on Monday to put the clean out in at $800 and that price probably would have changed, but you know what, I had it done by another plumber and guess what he charged me, $265. Five Cities was highway robbery. I'm not rich, I am a widow with a son to take care of.
And they left the bathroom a mess. And Scott H. must be rich. Unless they just felt like taking advantage of a woman.
They left at 5PM.
They charged me $940. I am actually considering taking them to small claims court. They charged me $555.00 just for their service.

Called in and explained what we had going on... A leak under our house which has a two and a 1/2 foot crawl space and the entire area is concrete. Charged $191.00 for someone to come out and take a look on a Friday afternoon! Yes they did come out when called, yes they did crawl around under the house and yes they were wet when they came out. At the time, I was quote at least 2K for multiple people to come out the following Monday to repair at $185/hour per person. And of the 2 K there would be possibly an additional $300 to $400 in parts!. I crawled under the house with my son and repaired the issue in about an 1.5 hours with about $150.00 in parts. I'm not against making a living and covering expenses but this was more then a little over the top! Possibly along the lines of trying to take advantage of a situation. I did however solve the issue of who not to ever call again if we have a plumbing issue!

Never want to deal with backed up sewage, but thankful for Five Cities Plumbing for coming to my rescue! Thank you to Angie for getting us scheduled ASAP and the tech John for climbing up and down our hillside to take care of our issue. A bright spot in an otherwise $?!tty day. Thanks.

Never posted a bad review but wouldn't recommend these guys. Asked to have someone come out and look at the project ahead of time and was told no. Shared photos ahead of time so they'd know what parts are needed, scope of work, etc. but they never looked at them. In the end paid way too much for work that could have been completed much more efficiently by looking at the photos, scoping out the project ahead of time or asking a few questions. Was told it's not their responsibility and I shouldn't have expected the receptionist to show them the photos. Disappointing experience. Lesson learned.

I called and found the answering machine ok at first as it requested me to push 2 to confirm I was a real person due to the amount of cyber calls they receive. I can understand that so I waited after being put on hold, after 20 minutes a female answered and i either got disconnected or hung up on but either way having to wait again even 5 minutes was not going to happen. too bad real people don't answer there phone anymore. Lost my business.

Chad had a high quality standard and an incredible work ethic. I just had my sewer line replaced and they did an amazon job. The job took a little longer than expected and I wasn't charged any more than the quote. Chad made sure everything was done right and his extra attention to detail was much appreciated. They do great work!

We can't thank Chad Tanner enough for being the honorable man that he is and standing by his work. In April 2019, Chad and his crew were here to replace outside sewage lines to the back part of our house. We have a yearly problem bc the back part was originally built in 1948 and the bathroom in that part of the house backs up because of tree roots or whatever finds it's way into the lines. We thought fixing the outside lines was enough, but it wasn't. The problem happened again this week (12-17-19) and since we thought it was inside we had our home warranty people out to fix the problem. It took them 3 days to fit us in, and no matter how hard I begged, they could not come any sooner. They really tried their best but they were unable to open the line and said it's plugged in the outside lines.
Now it's time to bring Chad and his crew back and of course it's the Fri before Xmas. When Chad realized we were under warranty, he said
""You are a priority; I stand by my work and we will be there in an hour."" OMG that just doesn't happen!!! It did and they were here in no time.
We were so impressed with Chad that we will trust him and his crew to come back and find a way to permanently fix this issue inside. We will only consider doing this extra work with 5 Cities Plumbing because we feel we found a great, honorable, reputable company that will stand with us and by their work. We trust them to do right by us and believe they really will. Thank you Chad!!!

My water heater was not working, so I called my home warranty. 4 days later, still no hot water. I called Five cities plumbing and Chad showed up within a couple of hours. Chad gave a few options for the repair and due to his friendly demeanor, I inqiured about a tankless water heater since I have researched them for a bit but had no need of one in the past. He gave a reasonble price and installed the tankless heater the same day. Needless to say, I now have a go to company to call when I have any future plumbing issues.

I had a drainage problem with my corrugated drainage pipe that drains part of my roof and the low spot in front of my detached garage. I called Five Cities Plumbing and explained my problem to the girl that answered the phone. She set me up an appointment for the next day but when the guys showed up they didn't have the right equipment and had to go back to the shop to pick up the right one. They quoted me $275 an hour to jet out my drainage pipes due to sand intrusion in the pipes and said it would take about an hour. I gave them the ok to proceed and they were here about 45 minutes, the drain pipe seemed to drain ok and I paid them the $275 plus a $25 tip. We had a heavy rain last night and the drain filled up and flooded the garage, I contacted Five Cities Plumbing and explained the problem. I received a call from the owner and he said he would have to charge me an additional fee to come back out to clear the drain. I told him thanks but no thanks, I wasn't paying him any more money without a guarantee that the drain would be clear. I will never use Five Cities Plumbing again and highly recommend anyone needing a plumber not to use them.

If I could give negative stars I would. Five Cities Plumbing recently came out to repair an irrigation drip system and the employee took it upon himself to turn on a closed valve that was disconnected from the irrigation system years ago when i replaced my backyard grass with a patio. The water was running continually under my patio for over 2 months and my water bill went from $190 to $455! I had the city of AG verify that this mistake is what caused the increased water. bill. When I called Five Cities Plumbing I spoke to a very nice lady who said ""send over a copy of the water bill and the owner will look at it and should take care of the difference"". I have called and emailed for weeks now and they REFUSE TO RESPOND. I will be suing them in small claims court now unfortunately as they leave me NO choice since they won't even reply!
