We called Fitzgerald's Plumbing after another local plumber came out, looked around, and decided not to help us with our stopped kitchen drain. Huh?????

We called Fitzgerald's and Patrick came out the next day even before the appointment time. I found him waiting in front of the house.

Apparently this was a more complicated drain issue since the plumbing is older. He worked at it until it was completely fixed. He also made a modification in the pipes under the sink so the next stoppage would be a cinch to fix. Niiiiiiice. Patrick is polite and very friendly, and he left our plumbing in a better condition than he found it.

It looks like we have a new plumber!!! Thank you, Patrick!!

I called Patrick and told him I believe my water heater needs to replaced because the ceiling was leaking. He came out and replaced it right away. He also gave me a quote on my toilet and they replaced that as well. I will definitely give them a call again if I have any other plumbing needs.

We called Patrick Wednesday morning about a leaky kitchen faucet. He arrived within two hours and in easy terms explained our options. In about an hour everything was working perfectly. He was very professional and did his job in a neat manner. Patrick is a courteous young man and I highly recommend him for your plumbing problems if you are in the Lakewood area, or any area for that matter.

Thank you yelpers for steering me toward this company. We had a bunch of little problems that were causing a huge headache (water hammer, issues with our hot water coming out of our cold line and through the water sprinklers and a water heater that was out of code). I had originally called out another plumber to see if he could fix/diagnose the problems and he could not. I had a water heater specialist come out to fix the hot water issue and he could not fix it. I finally found Fitzgerald Plumbing and gave Patrick a shot. I liked that he was local and the other reviews were promising.

Patrick came out on a Monday and patiently listened to me as I gave him the history of problems. He came up with a plan to fix each issue and made an appointment for later in the same week. He also identified a pipe that had corroded and was about to fail.

When Patrick showed up, he explained how he was going to fix each problem and gave me a price for the job. Then he got right to work and by the end of the day the water hammer was gone, the hot water was working normally, my water heater issue was fixed and he had replaced the rotted pipe. Patrick was professional, polite and took the time to explain each issue to me in terms I could understand. He cleaned the areas up where he had been working and made sure all my questions were answered before he left. His rates were reasonable and he warrantied all the work he performed.

I can't over sell how impressed I was with this company. Finding a good plumber is like finding a good car mechanic and Fitzgerald Plumbing was a great, local find for anyone in the Long Beach/Lakewood area! I will be using this company for any future plumbing needs and I will be recommending them to my friends and family.

This review is a few weeks late, but the benefit of that is I can say the work he did was excellent and actually fixed the problem! We had a sewage leak with awful smells (obviously) and we needed somebody to come out quickly. I checked the Nextdoor app and my neighbors all had positive things to say about Fitzgerald Plumbing. I called and he answered immediately and agreed to come out the next morning. Very pleasant and professional. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the charge for the service was fair and surprisingly not as much as we thought it was going to be. We also asked for a quote for a full repipe and will definitely go with this company once we have the money to move forward with that. Thank you Fitzgerald Plumbing! We will definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a plumber!

Fitzgerald Plumbing was fantastic. Fixed our bathroom sink drainage pipe promptly and at a fair price. I recommend him if you are in the Lakewood or Long Beach area.

Well, the thermo coupler went out and I fixed it myself... That only lasted 1 day. So, I called Patrick because the lady needed her hot water and has no faith in me as a handyman.
Patrick came out that day and did a knock-out job.
When there's gas involved I like having a professional take care of it.
The hot water is rocking now and I'm ready for my first shower in 3 days. :D

Patrick was very helpful and quick in responding. Our hot water heater was out and we spoke with him on a Friday evening. He said he'd be out the next day Sat. between 10 and 12. He actually was out 30 minutes ahead of schedule. Repaired our hot water heater. He was polite and friendly, also informative. He noticed a pipe that wasn't attached completely and brought that to our attention and was able to repair that also. I will keep his card handy to recommend him to friends and for our next plumbing needs also.

I called Patrick to do several plumbing issues on our new house. We had 3 shower valves that weren't working properly, and a main/irrigation valve that wasn't to code. Patrick promptly came out and gave me a free estimate, then went to work on the showers. He was professional, friendly, and very conscientious. The plumbing in our house is very sloppy and often not to code, but Patrick suggested the most cost-effective ways to get everything as close to properly done as possible without re-plumbing the whole house.

When he came back to do the outdoor work, I had broken another pipe because of my attempts to unscrew a tap. It was an embarrassing DIY mistake, but Patrick didn't patronize me or attempt to gouge me on the work to repair it. Instead he pointed out how the pipe I'd broken wasn't to code and reassured me that it wasn't my fault (even though it was stupid on my part!) He also went out of his way to repair the pipe in the cheapest and least destructive way possible.
