I came home from a trip with a hot water heater not working. A grandbaby on the way and a hubby in the hospital! I called and they sent out David the same day (a Friday). He replaced the hot water heater the same day and it is working with no problems. I mentioned that the toilet upstairs had a leak. He spoke to my husband on the phone, identified the part, and while waiting for the hot water heater to arrive from the warehouse, he fixed the toilet and only charged me for the part. That is good service and attitude in my book. From my recent experience, I would hightly recommend Fischer Plumbing.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!
Ficher plumbing will do an average service for quadruple the cost without telling you upfront.
I had a guy fix a leaking tank for $255/hr + labor and tax ($75 just for them to come to your door, and $45 for every quarter hour of work!) They never disclosed their rate upfront when I called, and I was duped to believe from a previous call that the $75 was their hourly rate.
I got suckered into hiring them. At least you don't have to.

Excellent service, professional service. John came and fixed our blockage in a main sewer pipe. After we had a scary experience from Beacon plumbing who wanted to charge us $2800 for a ""clean out"". We will use this company again:)

Avoid these guys at all cost. They will just rip you off. I had a repair of my expansion tank and they charged me 700+ and it broke after a few months. I called another Plumbing company and they replaced it with a brand new one and charged me 400 even. I had used them a couple of times and I'll have to conclude that giving them one star is overrated! They charge by hours and you also have to pay their mistakes on the job. So a small job can drag and cost you!

Sketchy and deceptive - STAY AWAY!!! Long time yelp reader, first time reviewer after a very discouraging experience.
My husband called around to quite a few businesses to replace our hot water heater and Fischer Plumbing gave us the lowest quote. We scheduled an appointment with them and they were supposed to call upon arriving. The employee did not call and just proceeded to knock on the door while I was trying to put my son down for a nap - annoying, but not a big deal in the scheme of things (although he is still awake as we speak).
My husband had mistakenly told them a different size for the water heater so we were informed that the actual size that we needed was $50 more, not a big deal. However, the all-inclusive price that we were quoted had a bunch of incidentals that needed to be added making the final price nearly $275 more than what we were quoted. When I expressed my shock at this and the employee spoke to my husband, he told us that he thought he could get us what we needed within our budget. He made a big show of calling his employer and asking to have the price reduced. He got off the phone and told me that he could not reduce the price since hot water heaters are going up in price in the next two weeks and this was the best deal we would be able to get.
So we said thanks, but no thanks. The whole experience felt sketchy and like they were purposefully being deceptive. I'm not upset at the price, I'm upset at the deception. When you are using services like this you are probably in need and it is horrible for companies to take advantage of that. The Yelp reviews seem to indicate that a lot of other people have had similar experiences.

Unbelievable! Hot water heater pilot went out. I tried to re-light it myself several times but whoever installed it placed security straps right over the instructions. Still, I recalled the steps from previous homes but still couldn't get it to light, I called Fischer. The plumber arrived, lit it, and wrote up our bill in less than 5 minutes. $75 for the service call (a flat rate already pre-printed on the bill) and $90 for his 2 minutes of effort. Wish I had read Yelp first! I will never call them again.

Fisher plumbing is the worst kind of dishonest--the kind that hides behind a veil of service and honesty. I can at least give some credit to crooks who don't pretend to be anything but.
I'm writing about a service call that occurred a couple of months ago. I wanted to replace a toilet.
The plumber spent 50 minutes working and took 1.5 hours beginning to end. I was eventually quoted for 2.5 hours of labor for a cost of $580. He also used 3 standard parts that they invoiced at $68.
When the plumber left, I asked for an itemized receipt. The plumber said they would send it later. It came two weeks later, vague as can be--just ""parts"" and ""labor."" When I called Fisher about the $68 in parts, they read off a detailed list of parts that they never shared with me. Were they trying to hide the part names from me? I suspect so because research with 7 other plumbers yielded quotes ranging from $20 to $25 for the same parts.
In a follow-up letter, the owner claimed the additional 90 minutes of labor when the plumber wasn't fixing the toilet was necessary to find parking (there were 5 free spots in front of the building at the time he showed up), remove the toilet from the box (3 minutes), throw out the cardboard box (2 minutes to get to the recycling room in our building), and dispose of the toilet down the street (5 minutes assuming you're a very slow walker). He used the words ""value"" and ""service"" so deliberately it should have been a surprise to me I overlooked all these great things they gave me without my noticing!
The other companies I spoke with were appalled by the inflated estimate. Unsurprisingly, they were also appalled when they heard the words, ""Fisher Plumbing.""
I left 30 minutes after the plumber left to get lunch. On my way out, I noticed the truck was still in the alley with the plumber in the front seat; not engaging in the famed Fisher Plumbing cleanup job or even doing something in his truck bed. Maybe he was hard at work trying to remember the items he used for the ""itemized receipt.""

My homeowners club recommended Fisher to replace my sewer after a tree was uprooted. However, my remodeling contractor thought their work looked suspicious. Sure enough, it didn't pass inspection by the City of Bellevue because the wrong kind of joints had been used. Even at that, the line had to be dug up and replaced later because Fisher had failed to connect the kitchen drainpipe to the sewer line.

We have used Fischer Plumbing on 2 occasions and both times the repairs were done in a timely manner with our budget in mind. They showed up to my house the first time and it was a simple job of cleaning out the P trap of my sink. Unlike some plumbers who charge a min rate of 300 no matter what they do, this guy only charged me $75, which I thought seemed reasonable. The 2nd time they came out they had to repair our pump, in a tight spot. The guy couldn't fit into the small space, so they promptly called another plumber out to finish the work. All in all, they fixed our issues fast and for reasonable prices. I will use them every time.

Service has gone down while price has gone up over the years. They charged me $235 to tell me there was sediment in my faucet and it would be too expensive to fix. They told me to get a new faucet and they would install it, totaling around $1000. Called another plumber for second opinion. They were in and out in 20 minutes for only $130 with a fixed faucet. It gets worse. I called Fischer to tell them that and dispute their high fee for incompetence. They said a manager would call back. A week later, I'm still waiting for that manager to call back.
