DECEIVED ME ABOUT PLUMBING WORK DONE, THEN OWNER WOULD NOT FIX IT EITHER!
I had First Street Plumbing put in a water softener, explaining that it's a multifamily house, and had about 30 faucets/water outlets that needed to have soft water. The plumber put in the water softener, I assumed he did it right and paid nearly $2000.

A year or so later, my husband and I needed to redo some plumbing. As we looked closely at the system, we realized that the water softener was only servicing 2 of the 30 faucets! We called 1st Street to tell them their error, and they sent a plumber out. This guy checked our water softener, and confirmed that it was working for those 2 faucets. When I asked why the first plumber hadn't done what was requested (and paid for!), he said, ""We can only work with the existing setup."" When I told him the first plumber led me to believe all 30 faucets were now hooked to the soft water, he said, ""Yes, that guy has been fired. He should have been more up front with you."" I then called the owner of the business, who simply said ""sorry"" and made no offer to correct anything, or refund any money. No ""How can we make this right?"" that I would expect of a good plumber who cares about his reputation.

Don't use these plumbers. They really don't care if they ripped you off. They have no desire to make things good if they make a mistake. I wasted $2000, and hopefully you are well warned now, so you don't waste your own money!

Our experience with First Street Plumbing was the absolute best. They sent Nate over very quickly. He had a floor drain that was backing up and an outdoor faucet fixed in about 45 minutes. I'd previously tried to get the drain fixed by another local company. They sent two guys over that spent 4 hours working on it. They left saying it was fixed but it backed up again the next time I ran my washing machine. Thank you Nate G. from First Street Plumbing for the steller, professional service!

On time, efficient and they showed up! I called and talked with several other plumbing places that either no showed or would never return my calls. Hope when this economy slows down they don't need me or my recommendation.

My 82 year old grandma had this company come in to help with a sewer issue. This company came to her house, didn't wear a mask or use shoe covers. He tracked mud into the entire house. He also left the wax ring on the ground and just left after the toilet was fixed without cleaning up anything. After this issue my grandma went back to the store and complained. The owner ""apologized"" the first time. That was it. Later she went back and said she wanted some of her money back and the owner refused to meet with her again. The owner claims his employees are tested for covid every 3 days and and there is not a chance his employees have covid. This is laughable at best. They also charged $350 for an 1.5 hours of work. This is a prime example of taking advantage of an older woman. I highly recommend to go other places.

Had a washer and dryer delivered on a Saturday and they broke a pipe. I was told a plumber was coming in the next hour and a half. First Street Plumbing was who came and I was so happy with their help. Friendly and professional. I am putting their name in my phone as my new plumber.

When getting our job bid to get our plumbing in our house replaced, Kenny from First Street Plumbing came over went through everything with my husband that we needed done and got one price bid to us. We chose First Street Plumbing based on the price they quoted us and the fact that they have been in business for 70 years. When they came to do the work they changed the bid amount and said the original bid didn't cover half of the stuff we needed done after they had already started working. The price didn't just go up a little, it doubled! Also, the job they did was very unprofessional and the workmanship was very subpar!
1. When replacing the water lines for my toilet they drilled a new hole into the floor instead of using the one that was already drilled into the wall and they didn't even ask before they did it so now I have a hole in my wall that I;m going to have to cover and a dumb hole in the floor that I am going to have to get on my hands and knees to clean around every time I mop now.
2. They hooked up the new sink in my kitchen and the new pipes are leaking. I am just hoping the other new plumbing they installed isn't leaking too. They left the faucet on the sink very wobbly too.
3. Somehow they leaked a large amount of water in our storage room and didn't tell us about it. When we got home we noticed a large puddle of water draining out of the new rolled up carpet we had that we were going to use to carpet our stairs. It also leaked into some boxes that we had Christmas decorations in. I know accidents happen but the fact they didn't tell us about it really is unprofessional!
There is a lot more to this story that is so frustrating for us! They did give us a discount on the work that they did however no one apologized at all and they denied everything! Just wanted to let you all know, if you're looking for a plumber save yourself a lot of mess and frustrations! Go elsewhere!
