I called for a quote on drywall, Derek just happened to be leaving a job down the road from me and was able to stop by immediately. He was very knowledgeable and I accepted his bid. While he was over we were talking about my stair rail I wanted to do differently. He let me know he could do that as well and I am very pleased in his work, and his price. He saved me a lot of time and hassle! Very grateful for that!
The dry wall looks perfect and the woodwork on the stair rail is exactly what I had envisioned.

I give him 1star because he does do what his company name states. Makes a great first impression. I'm going to cut my emotions and stick to the facts. I needed 5 pieces of drywall ($8 a sheet) hung.. not taped, mudded or sanded just hung. It was basically a closet.. He wanted $585. I asked how much of that was materials and he stated $150. I asked if that was an estimate and I would only pay for what was needed and he said, and I quote, ""No .. no matter what the materials cost the $150 will not change"". He said I needed about 10 sheets of drywall ( it ended up being 5) Again this is just hanging new drywall. He said he makes $50 an hour and more than once stated that he is a quality contractor and all the others are either alcoholics or on drugs.. he literally showed me his healthy white teeth. I am a single woman and feel he tried to take advantage. Thank god I posted it on facebook and got an overwhelming response of help and confirmation that he was ripping me off. I ended up paying $300 but only because I needed it done the next day which was a Sunday to stay on schedule for my move.
