Awesome! Both the contact person when I called for help over the phone and the actual repair person, Mike R., were HONEST and kind. They listened and properly assessed the situation without trying to upsell me or overcharge for anything unnecessary. They actually helped and got my AC repaired and running in one visit. Others tried to take advantage by stating parts that worked needed replacing, even tried to sell me a new system for over $10k+ when only the whip and a wire needed attention. Saved me so much in stress. TRUSTWORTHY. I can't even offer enough praise for that.

Highly recommend First Degree. Professional, courteous, will always go above and beyond to make sure your problems are solved. We've had both our AC and heating unit checked and fixed by then and they are honest and do not try and upsell just so they can make more money, unlike some franchise companies we have dealt with. I highly recommend First Degree. I am so happy that I found this great A/C company. I cant say enough positive things about them. I have had problems caused by a bad installation by another company right after Sandy and the technicians at First Degree got to the issues right away. They are very knowlegable, responsive and honest. I only wish I knew them 5 years ago!! The only people I would call for my A/C and heating needs.They are the best!!

Amazing service
Changed the whole system AC + Heat + water boiler in 1 day. Everything was excellent and very clean.
Very diligent and helpful. The owner goes on and beyond for emergency situations. Crew are delightful and worked diligently since they started until they finished.

They installed a Trane furnace less than 3 years ago,

First chilly day of 2015, it does not go on. 48 degrees out. Called them in the evening, said they would come out tomorrow. Told them it is pretty cold out. They said they would come out tomorrow. And the charge is $125 to show up, $125 an hour.

Told them this furnace they installed is less than 3 years old, it's real cold, I have a wife and son. I'd really like them to come out tonight.

They charged a lot to install the furnace and now they were treating me like they hated me with a nasty attitude.

I found a much friendlier tech who came out, took care of the furnace and charged a lot less.

Won't ever use or recommend First Degree!!
