Jayme came out to my house for a diagnostic on my tankless water heater this past week. Since it's during COVID he was wearing a mask, which I appreciated. I told him the issue on the hot water running out during our showers. After testing it and no issues or an error message. Jayme said it could be the shower value if it happens again. He recommended that we do a flush since it should be done annually and we haven't had once in 2 years. Jayme noted that we should do a full service on our tankless every 3-5 years, which includes a flush. Price wise $150 for the flush and $350 for the full service, which is basically cleaning the entire unit and inspect it. I asked if it would be possible to do a full service now. At first he said that he couldn't due to his schedule, but he was able to squeeze the service in. He worked on our tankless for about an hour or so, and showed me the blue liquid in a gallon container that should be clear. Payment was easy with a credit card. Jayme was friendly and informative. I appreciate his honesty on the condition of my tankless- he noted to me that as long as we maintain it, our tankless water heater should last for years!! Will definitely call again for a flush and full service. Hopefully we'll get Jayme again :)

First Class Water Heaters is truly First Class!
Fidelity, our home warranty company assigned First Class to our claim. They contacted us the that night; however, they had to wait until morning for a claim number from Fidelity.
I called First Class the next morning at 8:00 am. Their serviceman, Jamie, was in our area and arrived at our home within 30 minutes! Jamie was great; he was professional, friendly, and efficient. Problem solved quickly and hot water restored within 30 minutes.
Nobody likes to have problems requiring a service call, but if you are in the East Bay and have a problem with your water heater, call First Class Water Heaters!

Loved that they showed up in a mask as safety is priority #1 right now. I had a plumber from another company come out and he refused to wear a mask (WTF). Anyway, we moved into a new house and right away realized the water heater was not working at the worst possible time (2 days before Christmas). First Class told us what we needed to purchase so that we did not get a markup from them and came out on Christmas Eve to make the repair. Finished the job in a timely manner and made some other repairs on the insulation from a previous plumbers' shotty work. I will use them again in the future.
