I opened the door and Tre' the technician, full of life with outstretched hand cordially and professionally introduces himself and the initial meet & greet was only the beginning of an exceptional service experience. The hot water tank was diagnosed, parts to be ordered and timeline for receipt and follow up for final repairs outlined clearly that subsequently led to repairs and ""HOT WATER""....HALLELUJAH!! Tre' was extremely patient, kind and understanding in receiving and responding to my questions and meeting my service satisfaction. Highly recommend FIRST CLASS WATER HEATERS...and it's my sincere hope that Tre' is your technician. Great job! And thank you Tre'!!

They did a wrong inspection of our water heater which caused our insurance company deny the coverage. We told them multiple times about it but they just denied to do it properly. Then another company came and inspect wd it correctly and insurance company covered it. Because of their wrong inspection, it would have caused us 3000$ or more.

I feel horrible I didn't catch the name of the technician who provided my service. but he was amazing

I made my request w. my home warranty on a Friday afternoon. I called first class water heaters within 15 minutes & they had a record of my request. no one was available to service me over the weekend but they had a technician out Monday afternoon. he came inspected and made incredible recommendations including providing education regarding how to prevent future issues.

I missed their return call on Tuesday to complete the service. I called back Wednesday and staff returned Thursday morning . my claim was completed in less than a week and over a few business days.

the technician was African American and an Oakland native. being service by someone local was also a very good experience.

I filed a review earlier because I felt I was getting the run around , But I found out the owner was out of town . He called me when he got back and said he will be out Thursdsy the 6th . He was here at the time he said he would be and he was very pleasant then started the work to correct the problem. It only took him about 20 minutes . I am grateful for his service.

First Class Water Heaters was the company assigned to me through my Home Warranty.
Jayme and John were the technicians that showed up. They quickly assessed my water heater and worked with my home warranty company to see what was covered. They were incredibly friendly, professional and timely. From start to finish they replaced my entire water heater system in an hour or so. They made this process super easy and stress free. I would recommend them again!

After having to plunge our master bathroom toilet almost daily for a year, something worse happened: the bathtub emptied onto the floor through the bottom of the toilet, flooding the bathroom with more than just tub water. Jose and Francisco were sent out by First Class Water heaters within an hour of our call. They snaked it and had it fixed in less than an hour. However, two days later, it clogged again. This time, they used cameras to detect the bigger problem- blocked sewer line that had been installed incorrectly when the bathroom was built, and further clogged by roots. They proposed a new fix which required much more cost and labor. It took a few tries to actually get it fixed, but all the while Carl- one of the owners - and Jose were reasonable, working with us and our agreed upon price to fix it the right way so that it would not collapse again. Doing it right was harder- it required digging under the house, but they did it, and did it in good time, without keeping us waiting. I respect that, and they will get our plumbing business in the future. Thanks Jose, Francisco and Carl! We appreciate your great service and work ethic.

Great experience with first class water heaters today. Eli-Luis was/were excellent. They were fast and efficient with fixing my leaking kitchen pipes. This is probably the best company AHS has on the roster for plumbers and I will be requesting them if I ever need a plumber in the future. The office customer service was excellent as well - they contacted me to find out if I wanted an earlier appointment and were very accommodating. Highly recommend!

To make a long story short, American Home Shield dispatched this company to our home since the first company they dispatched had came and said that they did not work on power heaters and that the problem with our heater was electrical.

Lo and behold, Pedro from First Class Water Heaters came and evaluated that that was not the case. Instead of giving us the run around, he stepped up and fixed the issue with another colleague.

Thus ending our third fourth day without hot water in the freezing temperatures of NorCal this week!

I am so grateful and impressed by the determination of this company and their technicians to get things done quickly and correctly. Pedro was professional, clear and transparent with what was going on and what he was going to do to solve it. He even does a phone follow-up to make sure everything is working up to order and to guide you if anything needs to be adjusted.

It really goes to show that if you make the right first call, you can avoid a lot of trouble and frustration.

Contacted this company to come check out my water heater. My pilot light went out and was unable to get it to relight. They came out and were able to get it lit. Apparently a wire was no longer in the right position. It also appeared my gas valve wasn't working properly and I knew about. They were going to order the parts and told how much they were and cost of installation. Told them to do it. Back in November. Haven't heard from them since. Very nice staff. Some how the ball was dropped.
