Pack of charlatans - we had this company imposed upon us by our home warranty company to come and snake our bathroom drain. The guy who showed up at the door about an hour late went into the bathroom, took a cursory glance around, and started shouting at me that he couldn't do anything and that I'd wasted his time. As if that wasn't bad enough, he reported back to our home warranty company that he had completed the work to a satisfactory level.

Unless you're drowning in your own house, please do not use this company! If they actually DO the work, I'd be surprised if it's up to code.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.. READ THE REVIEWS.. American home warranty sent TONY over.. after missing first appointment.. worse person ever to have working for any company.. was totally rude.. came in the house and said there's nothing leaking, in which everything is leaking.. under house sounds like a waterfall.. then tony jumped in his truck and I asked where is he going, nothing was fixed.. he replied ""IM NOT WORKING TODAY!"" and left. Keep in mind the first time I made an emergency appointment with them they never showed up.. the lady that took the call quit the same day.. I wonder why?!?!? Lol!!... I called them after tony left and left 2 messages and no return call.. plumbing has NOT been fixed and I have a 3 year old child in the house and plumbing still not working and now backing up in every drain.. I will report to AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY AND THE BBB.. EXTREMELY UPSET!!!!!!

The worst. Completely unresponsive and unprofessional; from the receptionist the plumber. I've called them about 8 times. They answered the phone only once. The rest of the time it went to voicemail, but sometimes I couldn't leave messages because the mailbox was full. I've emailed them 4 time and never received a reply. The plumber who came out, Victor, spent more time trying to defend First American Home Warranty than diagnose the problems with my plumbing. He gave me a report showing there were problems with the plumbing but then submitted a report to First American home saying there was no problem. This company is a joke.

Our experience with Tony, the service technician, was pleasant. He was professional and efficient and was able to deal with the problem with our garbage disposal and clogging kitchen sink fairly quickly. The only reason I don't feel comfortable giving this company a higher rating is because it took them almost a full week to send somebody out to take care of this issue. This is particularly troublesome because, despite reaching out before Thanksgiving, I wasn't contacted until the following week -- which means that my husband and I had to deal with holiday food prep with a chronically backed up/slow-draining sink.

On October 10th, my wife filed a claim with our Home Warranty company. We detected a smell coming from the crawlspace underneath the house (very bad odor) and assumed the worst. Despite this information, First Class Plumbing would not be able to come out until October 17th. Yes as a homeowner, I should have been more aggressive considering what I thought was the problem (sewage). However, we took the appointment and waited. When Tony arrived, he was very direct about asking what we noticed. He asked for where he could get access to the problem. I showed him a crawlspace that we have in our closet near the front door. He stuck his head in and immediately called it out as sewer leak. However, no work could be done until a restoration company cleaned up the mess. Tony wasn't the easiest to talk to but it wasn't a terrible experience at first. I thought he could be a bit more compassionate considering the problem we had.

The restoration company cleaned up the mess and detected that we had a large crack in our kitchen sink draining pipe. This was completed on October 22. They immediately deemed the area safe and ready for the plumber. However, they were unable to come until midday October 24. Despite the sense of urgency considering my family was unable to live in the home after the 22nd, First Class Plumbing didn't call until hours after the appointment time to notify me they wouldn't be making it. Frustrated, we were given the second appointment on the 25th.

Tony arrived with an assistant as the crawlspace is too small for him to operate. Upon arrival, there was no handshake...there was no ""hi sir, how's it going?""...he almost didn't even acknowledge me. It felt like I was bothering him. Before I got started, I asked him if there was any way to at least ensure one bathroom was fine today that I would be able to bring my family (10mo and 5yr) home that I would be ecstatic. He cut me off and said that there was no way he would have anything fixed today. He was just there to find the problem.

Tony sent his assistant down there but did not run the water once as I was told by the office the day prior to diagnose the leak. After a few minutes, the assistant came back up and had a side conversation with Tony. Tony then started to become irate with me that there was no way to fix the problem as the pipe wouldn't fit in the crawlspace. He asked if there was another entrance. I showed him the outside crawlspace entrance located next to a shed. He said it might work but it can't with the shed. I mentioned that I could remove the shed and he began to yell at me and say that it was not possible.

We then began to have a back and forth on possible solutions to the problem. I attempted to talk to him about ways to get the pipe down there (cutting one of the dozen vents running along the house, knock the shed down, can the pipe be split in half and jointed?) but he got even angrier. I acknowledged that we was the ""professional"" and that he likely knew but wanted to see if I could help in any way to find a solution. He accepted none of it and began to storm off. I then proceeded to ask him how he knew the problem without running the water to see where it was leaking (again as I was told in my office phone call the day before). He blew me off and said he wasn't doing that. He was adamant that the 10ft long 4in diameter pipe had to be replaced.

He made a phone call to someone at the office and then said he was leaving. I wanted to speak to someone at the office to explain that I did not get anywhere close to the service that was promised on the phone. He told me to call the office. I mentioned that of all the phone calls I made to the office that maybe 2 out of 10 calls were ever answered and no messages were ever returned. I asked if there was another number I could call to reach someone directly. He rudely told me to just call the number. I informed him of my experience and he said he couldn't help me after literally speaking to someone at the office.

After he left, I finally got a hold of a office rep. She was initially nice and talking how they were working with the home warranty company to see what could be done/covered. After one of my calls, she mentioned she would call me back within 5 minutes as she was literally in a call with the warranty company. No call ever came but I finally got a hold of her after a dozen tries and 45 minutes later. She said that the warranty company was suppose to call me and tell me to find a new plumber as they can't do the job. When I asked how was that possible when the plumber didn't actually find what the problem was, she then got snippy with me and said ""Sir, he couldn't get halfway down there because of the smell."" She then proceeded to tell me that there was still sewage down there. I said that wasn't possible as the restoration company had completed their job and asked for pictures. She wouldn't provide them. DO NOT USE THEM.

The staff is reliable and easy to work with. Tony (my technician) worked quickly to solve the problem. The billing was easy to navigate. All of the team was quick to resolve my issue and very communicative on the phone throughout the process.

0 RATING!!! Worst business to deal with. If First American Warranty send them to your house better request for another plumber. Lady I spoke with me was so rude and kept yelling at me.... so unprofessional! Been 3 weeks that Ive been following up on them and no one picks up the phone, no one came to show up in my house when there was already an order to replace my garbage disposal unit. Bad business to deal with!!!

I was without hot water and my home warranty company scheduled an appointment with First Class. It had already been three days and I needed someone to come out ASAP. I made the claim on a Tuesday. Wednesday morning they were assigned to the claim. No one ever called me. I had to call and they offered me Friday. The warranty policy stated that I would get same day or next day service so I continued to try to get someone to come no later than Thursday. Meanwhile, I was honest with First Class (we were texting) and told them I would confirm the appointment but the warranty company was looking for an earlier appointment with another company although I was skeptical they would find anyone. So I confirmed the appointment and First Class went silent. I texted a few times asking that they confirm my appointment. They finally responded late Thursday afternoon saying they released the appointment and that the next appointment would be the following Tuesday. No hot water for five more days? No thanks. I've heard bad things about this company (my normal plumber says he has to clean up their shitty work all the time) and now have experienced them firsthand. I will never work with this First Class again.

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBING COMPANY. Home Warranty of America send them AND DID NOT FIZ THE PROBLEM, But happily collected $60 from me. Agree 200% of what the other reviews, If I could give zero star or even negative star. They are serious liar and dishonest company. They came to the appointment 3 hours late and went in to check for 1 min on the toilet bowl water tank leak, told me he can't fix it. Then left without telling me if he will come back. And absolutely no follow-up. They tell you something and then report other condition for the warranty, so they can collect the money for just coming for a 'visit'.

And I end up paying my own contractor to fix the problem and cancelled my policy with home warranty of America.

BE CAREFULL, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Really a terrible company. No one came during my supposedly 'confirmed' time slot, and then no one answered the phone. I ended up fixing the problem myself. Avoid this company, they are obviously an unprofessional and unethical company.
