Fully agree with all the negative home warranty service reviews. Respectfully request a new plumber if First American home warranty company chooses them.

I was assigned First Class Plumbing via my home warranty company. I was extremely uncomfortable using them given the Yelp reviews. Sask came out twice to diagnose and service our issues. Each time he got to the root of the issue and fixed the problems perfectly. First was a leak under the bathroom that our termite inspector noticed. Our other plumber said it would cost a ton of money as a drain pipe was leaking. We'd also complained to that plumber that our ""low flow"" toilet barely flushed. We decided to get a second opinion and run it through our home warranty co. Sask came out and discovered the true source of the leak was a missing wax seal on the toilet (prior owner DIY mishap) and the toilet was also 1/2"" off the base. Hence the poor flush and the leak. The second time involved a leaky tap and the tub stopper not working. He fixed both and we are back in business!

Our home warranty assigned my two claims to this company. The first service was bad, and the last one was worse: The plumber called Sako changed the valve in my toilet tank since it makes whistling sound. However, the water level in my toilet bowl was extremely low. I know that we can just turn the knob on the valve clockwise to change the water level, however the knob on this new valve wasn't turning. So I thought maybe it is different. So I asked them to fixed the issue.
One week after I called them, Sako came again, took a look at the water level and told me this is how the toilet was built, nothing he could do. I told him how come previously, before he changed the valve the water level is higher. Rudely he said ""Listen....Listen.... there is nothing I can do, this is how it is built, there is no problem"". I got angry because he kept being dismissive toward me. I raised my voice and told him my other toilets, the same brand, exactly the same toilets have higher water level in the bowls. He went to take a look at those toilet and said, maybe this toilet is different. I told him there is a calcium built ring caused by the water sitting for a long time from the previous water level. He took a look and said the ring doesn't proof anything. He told me he would write a report and said that there wasn't any problem with my toilet and charge me $75 again.
I was furious. I told him I had pictures which show previous water level in my toilet bowl which I could send to his boss. Then his tone changed, he became nicer, he called his boss to explain what he plan to do with my toilet. He started to replace the hose which came from the valve, after 15 minutes of tinkering and nothing change, he told me he would change the valve again. After changing the valve, he tinkered with it for about 20 minutes and nothing happened. He told me that probably I should call the toilet company, Kohler. I told him that I think he should turn the knob on the valve. Then when he turned the knob, the water started to move up and down. He told me this was a difficult process takes a lot of time (which is not at all). After 5 - 10 minutes, we got the water level which I want. He told me that the knob on the previous valve wasn't turning when he tried before (i.e., he admitted that the valve which he replaced last week was faulty). Then he wrote a receipt of $0 (again, this is admitting there is something wrong with my toilet).
Even though my toilet issue is fixed. I am extremely unhappy with the service. Sako caused me so much stressed. He was rude and I didn't feel safe around him. He tried to bully me into thinking that nothing wrong with my toilet and want to charge me $75 again.

First American Home Warranty assigned First Class Plumbing Services to our service claim. Initially, I was skeptical given the Yelp reviews. However, we really needed someone to check out our sink issue right away, especially after having gone through two different plumbing services without any results. (Those plumbing companies were hired by us and not through FAHW).
The plumber, Sako, showed up right on time. He was very professional. Inspected the sink, explained to me exactly what the home warranty covers and what he could and could not do. He fixed our sink, even though it was a real pain to figure out. He did a very clean job. I am very happy with the services I received today.
Just a little FYI. When a company is called through a home warranty company they have to obey the home warranty company's rules. Therefore, it's not the company who provides the services attaching restrictions, rather than the warranty company and your coverage.

Absoloute disaster!!
They were assigned to us by FAHW to fix a plumbing issue and their customer service was terrible , I had to call First American and get the claim assigned to another company.
Definitely ask for another vendor if First American assign them to you.

Our home warranty company assigned our 3 claims to this awful company. It took days for them to initially contact us, then when we setup the appointment for two days later they claim that they only had 1 claima assigned to them. I had to schedule yet another appointment for them to come and look at the other two issues. In short, I was without a shower for 3 weeks, I did not get the call backs that I was promised, they only fixed the kitchen sink and nothing else. I had to pay 1600 dollars to another company to fix the issues this company was supposed to. I would never hire these guys if it was my choice.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!
First American Home Warranty assigned this awful company to fix my leaky faucet.
Firstly, they told me they would give me a heads up call 30 mins prior to then coming - NOT THE CASE!
Called me to complain no one was at home and plumber was waiting outside !!
Then, plumber wanted me to sign a waiver if he broke my pipes while fixing leaky faucet - he wouldn't be responsible for that work!!!! Nope sir!!!
If you are coming to fix anything in my home and you break anything while trying to do so- you repair it until you leave it in optimal working condition! That's why I hired you!!! NOT HAPPY! Total scam!!! Worst service EVER!!

I have a home warranty contract with First American. I had a plumbing issue (leaking pipe) and they sent FirstClass Plumbing out to the house. Although I was very thorough with my explanation, which by the way was a simple leak in a pipe, they came unprepared and did not fix my leak. They also said I needed a new shut off valve and tried to up charge and over charge me for that repair. They gave me 5 excuses why they could not do the job until they had the proper equipment and left without fixing my problem. This company is useless. They provide a horrible service and have no answers or solutions.

Agree with all the other one-star reviews. My experience: they took several days to respond to an appointment day. Once they finally booked an appointment, they changed their appointment time three different times. We work so we had to keep making changes to our schedule to accommodate them. The office said they would call us when the plumber was on his way; but guess who did not call with this promise? I called and the lady that answered the phone said, ""whoops, I forgot to call you, he is on his way now."" Now the plumber was even worse. Complained about the location of the water heater and said he would not be able to replace the igniter switch that keeps the pilot on; but would have to check with the insurance company. You can not change this? Then change the water heater! We got denied because they said it was tampered with. WTH? We moved in to the house for two weeks and have not been seen the water heater since Inspection time. I am sick of cold showers and this bullshit excuse. We have sent them the Inspection report and are contesting their denial. Is this not the reason why we buy home warranties for the first year of home ownership? To through salt in the wound, they wanted $75 for service. What service? I'll pay $75 when they reverse their denial.

Warning!!! Do not use them!! Even if recommended by your home warranty, request another company!!!First class plumbing service!! What a name First Class I don't think so!! Terrible at getting the report back to First American Home Warranty! Excuse after excuse!! Waiting for supervisor approval, system down, then no response. My water heater is leaking, I need it replaced, I have no hot water, and I have small children!! And still waiting!!
