8/3/20 update - The female other business owner took the Yelp review seriously and tried to course-correct the situation across the last two months. I updated the review from one star to two stars.

(a) They issued a refund for the parts and partial labor which I appreciated.
(b) Left a VM on my cell.
(c) Sent a note to my home reinforcing the standard COVID talk track: delay in getting parts in, keeping staff employed, and people making mistakes.

The part I didn't mention in my original review was that I was also 30-weeks pregnant during this time, and had to use PLYERS to turn the shower on and off - you read that correctly - for over a week because the technician removed the handle to the shower. That was the only bathroom we had at the time.

They also put SARAN WRAP where they removed the handle so water wouldn't seep in and further rust and damage. The entire thing was asinine. The pliers made it difficult to turn the shower on/off and the water dripped for HOURS unless it was set perfectly.

Northern Plumbing took one look at it as part of my second opinion evaluation and couldn't believe how this was managed. As mentioned in my earlier post, Scott from Northern Plumbing was a godsend in resolving the issue, removing the saran wrap, and ensuring I never had to use pliers in the shower again pregnant. Face palm.

I have worked for mike and mary they are very nice both of them they treat everyone fair and mike he used to work at magnolia plumbing I used to work for him he is a very very honest person. I'm sure I would still be working for them if I hadn't hurt my back. A big mistake.
I called them after they were recommend by my development. Don't!
They came when promised and were good about calling when slightly delayed , but then told me it was $250 to fix 2 extremely easy things. ( unscrewing a water filter that I didn't have a big enough wrench for and replacing 2 cracked pladtic bolts). They lied and said the job was extremely complicated and difficult (which I knew it wasn't! ) When I called the company back they said tbe price was for parts and labor. I told them the parts were 2 plastic bolts! They said the price then includes a lot of labor. I asked what the hourly rate was and she said ""We don't have one."" So I asked, ""Then how do you calculate the labor??"" She replied ""I'm not a plumber, it's just what he decides it costs. "" Based on what????? A 10 min phone call gave me no answer.
Needless to say the job took 15 minutes, as I expected, and I will never again use First Class Plumbing!

Always get great service at 1st class plumbing - they respond quickly and get the job done.
When my A/C went down last summer they came out the same day and got it running quickly-

I had a great experience with First Class Plumbing. They did a major job (main water supply replacement from street / meter to house. About 30' of serious exterior digging to get to the pipe) on very short notice and during a holiday week -- and finished on time, despite rain and and a few other complications along they way. Skip and crew were courteous and efficient -- they even returned a $5 bill that they found under the dryer. I will use First Class Plumbing again!
