We used Scott for the first time as a referral from my wife's sister. He replaced the toilet and fixed the shower door in the master bathroom. We are extremely pleased with the result. He had all the parts needed to level and connect the new toilet and quickly solved the issue with the shower door. Scott has been helping us for over a decade. We call him regularly for the normal jobs around the house that are beyond our capabilities. And twice now, he has literally rescued us from bad situations.

Years ago, he figured out that our slowly leaning SunSetter awning was crushing the foam insulation on our exterior wall; everyone else tried to tell us that we had missed the studs when we installed it. One long 2x12 later, the SunSetter was again perfect.

Recently, we were getting a very expensive run-around from a number of plumbing and mold mitigation companies. In a state of utter frustration, I called Scott. He came the next day, cut through all the ""froo-froo"" and just plain fixed our leak. In other words, common sense and a can-do attitude rule the day with First Class Finishes. Scott will fix what's broken, install what's needed, and restore any mess you made on your own.

By the way, he just re-installed drywall for us, and it is perfect!

I highly recommend First Class Finishes! We had a leak in our ceiling after all the rain last year. My husband cut away the wet drywall, then we had a big 2 x 3 ft hole. We needed someone who is experienced and had the proper tools for the job. Scott was wonderful. Draped off the area to keep the dust to a minimum. In a few short hours he had the job completely done and the texture is perfect. You cannot tell the ceiling had a been repaired. His prices were more than reasonable. I can assure you we will be using his professional services again.

I texted him regarding a job and he replied back right away saying he didn't do that type of work. Fair enough. My house had other work that needed to be done so I replied back with a short list (5 items). I figured he would work out well because since he is unlicensed he can't take large jobs so he would be happy to take my several small job project. I never received a reply.
At least be respectful to your potential customers and inform them you are either too busy or just don't want the work right now.

This is my very first bad review ever on any business. I had spoke with Scott and he had asked me to email him the work needed and he would send a quote. We did and he sent me a quote and said he could do the job Friday I said that would be great! I waited at home all day Friday. Not only did he not show he did not call or return calls or emails. I am handicapped and in a wheel chair. I am trying to get my home repaired to sell to help with medical bills and a find a home that I can access better in a wheel chair. I have had a lot of work done in my home to get it ready for the market this was the last step and I am set up to be on market this next week. Being in a wheel chair I am really limited on what I can do or get out to find someone to work on my home. He knew my situation. So use him at your own risk... If your time is valuable I suggest you find someone else he certainly didn't respect my time. Sadly this seems to be common with contractors he just seemed different and organized I am so disappointed.
