Our water heater broke and I called and spoke to Linda who was great and got Wil out to our house by 6pm on a Wed. night. Wil came out and tried to fix the problem.... but to no avail. They did not charge us for the service call... which really sold me on this company. We ended up needing a new water heater and it got installed by Friday. Wil did a great job and we are completely satisfied. We now feel better knowing we have a great plumbing service if anything happens in the future.

This is a complaint against First Choice Plumbing Solutions at 1687 SW Macedo Blvd. Port Saint Lucie, FL 772-879-1414. My elderly mother lives in mobile home and had called First Choice plumbers to repair a pipe leak underneath the home coming from the bathroom. The dispatch sent a plumber out to the home knowing that the plumber was claustrophobic and wouldn't want to go underneath the home to repair the leaky pipe. The plumber also turned out to be incompetent, unprepared, and without supplies to do the job. After being showed exactly where the leaky pipe was located by other contractors who were there for a different job, the plumber had to be gently coaxed into doing his job. The plumber didn't want to get dirty while underneath the home so the other nice contractors provided a work jumpsuit for him to wear and was provided a shovel since he didn't have one, nor did he have the right equipment to fix the leak. Everything was provided for him to get the job done other than the """"make-shift"""" rig he concocted for sealing the pipes (his words). He was on the phone to his girlfriend much of the time (his words) so it seems little focus was on the job at all. Afterwards, he walked inside the home without shoe covers, tracking muddy dirt onto the carpet and floor. He then wanted to use a kitchen sink strainer in the bathroom shower stall rather than using an appropriate drain cover. After I refused this, he finally went to his truck to search for the correct drain cover. In the end, his high-ball estimate of $600 for two hours of shoddy workmanship had to be paid. Knowing my mother was in her 90's and was an easy target for some quick cash and that we needed the water leaks repaired before the other contractors could finish their job, this plumber took maximum advantage of the situation. When I called the office to complain, the office manager defended the plumber and wouldn't listen. As he was leaving, he left a trail of thick mud on the carport driveway and had swipped a new unopened work jumpsuit that he picked up from the other contractors besides the one that was initially offered to him. I am appalled that my mother and I had to go through this stressful experience and that there are people out there who think nothing about exploiting the elderly. I hope you will think twice before using First Choice Plumbing in the future. My rating for this company is a zero or one star.

After getting a recommended and having a tremendous amount of positive online reviews I decided to call First Choice on a Saturday morning. First off their office was polite, courteous, and had someone here within 75 minutes. Their fee for a weekend visit is extraordinarily reasonable as well as their diagnostic fee. Will was very respectful of our home and showed up in a mask and gloves which I appreciated during this tough time. What I liked the most is that Will took the time and explained everything that he was going to do, why he was going to do it, and the costs. He explained each issue and when he knew part of was the city's job he explained how to go about that course of action. Will was here about 90 minutes and kept me apprised if each step. I appreciated his way of explaining things without making me feel like an idiot. He was patient, kind, and answered all of my questions. I would use this company again and again because of how wonderful the office was and how fantastic Will was.

Had a outside faucet leak that I detected on a Sunday late morning. No way to stop the leak without cutting the main water line off. This situation was not an acceptable alternative. I immediately called First Choice (which I have used before).They responded with a time of arrival and were even early. I was given an estimate, which was reasonable, on site. I gave the go ahead to make the repair. The service representative made a swift replacement of the defective faucet and I was a happy camper again. Michael was the representative, knew his profession, I will not hesitate to use this outfit for all my plumbing requirements again. It's comforting to know I have First Choice to call when plumbing horrors occur, and I'm sure they will down the road.

I've hired First Choice Plumbing for 3 jobs already, and I recommend them without reservation. Their specialty is re-plumbing entire homes. Joe D. is the owner. He does most of the work himself, along with an apprentice and usually a gopher/helper. I believe he's a Master Plumber, and I know from personal experience, he's also LP/Natural Gas certified. Tanya is his extremely attractive Office Manager. She makes sure permits are pulled, books are in order, bills are paid, and schedules are kept. Obviously smart and gorgeous. I had my entire house re-plumbed by First Choice, along with countless others here in the St. Lucie West area. There's something wrong with either the water or the copper plumbing used in this area, and pipes blowing out under the slab is very common. Once it starts, you're hosed. Pipes will keep popping unless you re-plumb. Joe and his team were in and out in three days. My entire home has been re-plumbed with PEX pipe, and is good to go for another 50 years. It's been over a year now, and I've had zero problems. They did my mom and dad's home a few years ago, and no problems there either. If you need an honest and competent plumber, call 'em.

Working with this company was a great experience. The guys(Joe, owner, Mike & Richard) are professional as well very personable. They take time to answer any questions you may have and stop to explain what procedures/actions that are taking place. We also really appreciate the customer service that is given by office personnel and how helpful they were throughout the process. Great company...

They screwed up our job, simply replacing the Water Control Valve, leaving a Big Hole in the wall, and tried patching it with 2 wall plates. REAL CRAPPY ... offered $100 off the job. What choice did we have? They ruined our tub/shower wall and right before we're trying to Sell.

I went to replace part of my toilet and when I went to turn the shut-off valve to the toilet, the valve completely broke and water started spewing everywhere. I turned off the main shut off to the house and called First Choice, as I had used them in the past. In the chaos, the top of my toilet tank broke as well, so we decided to just replace the toilet as well as fix the broken valves/hoses. I went to Home Depot and picked up my own toilet, and Michael was the tech who showed up. He took a look at the issue and gave me a quote for the fix and the installation of the new toilet. He explained that there's an up-front cost for a visit and then additional (much smaller) fees for extra work so that it definitely makes more sense to get a lot done in one trip as opposed to multiple small calls. He was in and out in less than 2 hours with a complete new pipe/hoses and installation of our new toilet for a very reasonable price. I also had Michael take a look at some of the other plumbing in the house because I think most of the plumbing is original from when the house was built in 1973 and he recommended doing the same thing in the other bathroom--replacing everything all at once. Michael was very up front with cost and was extremely professional. He was also very informative. He used a great analogy he used for our old valve that broke: think of it like you've been stuck in a cast for 15 years, and when you remove the cast, your leg isn't going to bend easily. The valve that hasn't been moved in such a long time had a higher likelihood of stripping or breaking when we went to shut off the water to the toilet. I would highly recommend using this company (and particularly this tech) in the future.

Highly recommended! Great Service! My home was completely flooded when I got home from work! The receptionist got the crew out to me quickly and they figured out my problem within 3 minutes of arriving to the property. These are honest people who show that they care, offered us great advice. They even checked everything else to ensure I wouldn't have another problem. I'm so glad I called them.
