A recent slab leak lead us to the determination we required an entire house re-pipe and ultimately decided to go with First Choice Plumbing Solutions. After inquiring with several contractors, we found Joe Duran with First Choice to be extremely prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. His bid was extremely thorough, telling us exactly what to expect with regard to holes in walls, materials to be used, time-frame, etc... The entire job was completed in a 10 hour workday. All work was completed as described and in a CLEAN and TIMELY manor. We could not have been more pleased with their service. We will be using them for any future plumbing needs and highly recommend First Choice Plumbing,PSL/Joe Duran to anyone requiring a professional plumbing contractor.

After getting a recommended and having a tremendous amount of positive online reviews I decided to call First Choice on a Saturday morning. First off their office was polite, courteous, and had someone here within 75 minutes. Their fee for a weekend visit is extraordinarily reasonable as well as their diagnostic fee. Will was very respectful of our home and showed up in a mask and gloves which I appreciated during this tough time. What I liked the most is that Will took the time and explained everything that he was going to do, why he was going to do it, and the costs. He explained each issue and when he knew part of was the city's job he explained how to go about that course of action. Will was here about 90 minutes and kept me apprised if each step. I appreciated his way of explaining things without making me feel like an idiot. He was patient, kind, and answered all of my questions. I would use this company again and again because of how wonderful the office was and how fantastic Will was.

We had a slab leak and flooded our living room and kitchen. I called two other companies they couldn't come until the next day. Called first choice plus. They arrived within 45 minutes at 9 at night. They resolved the flood issue that night. Wednesday night, Saturday they repiped the house cleaning up as they went along. I would recommend them for your plumbing needs.

My garbage disposal exploded on a Sunday nite, water everywhere, YIKES!!! My Best Friend suggested First Choice, she had used them for plumbing issues in her bathroom, said they were great. So I called, got an appointment for the following morning. Vincent was my technician, was prompt, courteous and very efficient. I supplied the materials, he removed and installed new Disposal. I went to replace part of my toilet and when I went to turn the shut-off valve to the toilet, the valve completely broke and water started spewing everywhere. I turned off the main shut off to the house and called First Choice, as I had used them in the past. In the chaos, the top of my toilet tank broke as well, so we decided to just replace the toilet as well as fix the broken valves/hoses. I went to Home Depot and picked up my own toilet, and Michael was the tech who showed up. He took a look at the issue and gave me a quote for the fix and the installation of the new toilet. He explained that there's an up-front cost for a visit and then additional (much smaller) fees for extra work so that it definitely makes more sense to get a lot done in one trip as opposed to multiple small calls. He was in and out in less than 2 hours with a complete new pipe/hoses and installation of our new toilet for a very reasonable price. I also had Michael take a look at some of the other plumbing in the house because I think most of the plumbing is original from when the house was built in 1973 and he recommended doing the same thing in the other bathroom--replacing everything all at once. Michael was very up front with cost and was extremely professional. He was also very informative. He used a great analogy he used for our old valve that broke: think of it like you've been stuck in a cast for 15 years, and when you remove the cast, your leg isn't going to bend easily. The valve that hasn't been moved in such a long time had a higher likelihood of stripping or breaking when we went to shut off the water to the toilet. I would highly recommend using this company (and particularly this tech) in the future.

michael gave me an estimate of $285 to change filler valve and red flapper. when i told the guy that was a lot of $, we paid that for a brand new toilet, he took off $30 and an additional $10 cash discount, told me """"those toilets go for $800-900, everything has gone sky high"""". i googled it and found brand new ones the same as we have for $275-300.i showed him the price brand new was 275-300 (the same price i was getting charged to replace the inside of out toilet) he told me they have to pay someone to answer the phone- are you KIDDING me???? that's about 10-15$/hr, i think i took about 3 minutes of her time....not enough to make up for that price! i realize people need to get compensated for their skill and expertise, but it literally took him 12 minutes to complete the job and he told me parts were about $30-50. he took my kohler brass braided supply line and without asking me about it, replaced it with a plastic one. when i called and asked why he would've put a new plastic one in and took my other perfectly good brass one, she told me it was a """"courtesy"""" they extend to all customers.
