I only wish we had discovered First Chicago Plumbing sooner! FCP is the definition of a local, family business that holds honesty and trust over profits. After two other companies gave us estimates in excess of $50K to remedy a sewer pipe blockage, Eugene came in with alternative solutions that did not require us to dig out our entire finished basement, and was even able to get the city of Chicago involved, something no other company offered. We had a complete rodding and hydrojetting of our 100+ year old clay pipe and Justin and Vasile did an extremely thorough job, we couldn't be happier! They literally saved us tens of thousands of dollars. So thankful for this company!

Ok I called these guys when I noticed a wet spot on the ceiling...they were able to come quickly.
Justin was amazing! Nice, punctual, and seemed like he knows what he's talking about! Recently my husband and I had major issues with another plumbing company in Chicago...so I was pretty terrified of getting non licensed plumbers again...but these guys were great!
I'm definitely calling them in the future for all of our plumbing issues! So happy to have found a good company!

I used the project section to get 2 of the toilets in my house fixed as the pumps were not working. Of the 5 that came up only 3 responded and only George at First Chicago Plumbing called me back first thing in the morning. The other 2 that responded with exorbitant call out fees and excuses galore (why bother to respond then?) George set up Justin to come out and fix the toilets and we haven't seen someone work so hard and he even came back out the next day to double check on some work. George followed up as well on the work done which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Racing to make a dinner date I broke the shower lever last night and was not able to turn off the water. We have a partial water supply shut down so there was a trickle of water all night. If I you could do partial stars I would give them like 4.25/5. Great work, good communication, very accommodating, very pleasant to work with. Mine was a huge project that cost $26k. Moving plumbing, adding plumbing, installing a smart multi outlet shower, tankless water heaters etc. Very responsive when there's an issue. Would highly recommend for either small or large projects.
