I would recommend them to all my friends and family I work was done in less then 4 hours they was very nice explain everything they did ...the was so professional love the work that was done other plummbers made us wait 5 days they couldn't unstoppable they dain. First action plummbers came in and did the work in 4 hours they put in new pipes which open all the drain the pipes we had was rusted and leaking under the house ..omg so happy right now.. They are the best also there pricing was cheaper then any other plumbing service.. Thank you again may god bless this company first action plummbers..

Outstanding! We have used First Action 2 times now. 1st time was we purchased our home from out of state. The home inspector failed to tell us how old our water heater was as well as our realtor. It was from 1994. 28 years old. The hard freeze here in 2022 caused the regulator valve to fail. First action worked with our home warranty to timely fix it and kept us advised the whole process through cutting no corners or omitting needed parts. Being INDEPENDENTLY OWNED and not a Franchise they really care about their clients and not how fast of a buck or over charge they can make. Second time was 2 leaking valves on upper and 1st floor toilets. They acted as professional advocates for us. The toilets needed a complete rebuild not just a valve or flapper. They again had US the homeowner in mind. They advocate to fix it RIGHT! Not just cheap. Great and Wonderful Company!

My water heater needed the t/p valve replaced. I replaced if but every time I flushed the toilet the valve popped once or twice. I thought I needed a new water heater. Called First Action and Matt and Johnathan came the next day. Turns out I needed a water pressure reduction valve because my water pressure was too high. They did the job in about an hour and all works great. I highly recommend this company. Stan Fulford

These are the most unprofessional, vulgar language people. My friend and I were on the phone and I was appalled at the way the tech (Matt) spoke to my friend. I have worked in the service (plumbing) industry for 25 years, and never heard anyone speak to a customer the way this technician spoke, with horrible, cursing language. The issue was under warranty, yet instead of being helpful, he blamed my friend for the problem (btw, this company installed this equipment in November 2021, with a 3 year warranty), cussed, yelled and was belligerent. This is the 3rd or 4th time this company has been out to repair the same issue (no water). There is still NO WATER, the pulled the pumped out and left it laying in the yard. This pump installation was expensive ( extremely over priced from my professional opinion), now they refuse to stand behind their workmanship, the product they installed, and walked off the job. Beware... of this company. I will be reporting them to all Alabama Plumbing Governmental Agencies. Could not find the """"master plumbers"""" MP# registered on the state website, not sure if they are licensed to even do business in this particular county. I'm going to the Alabama plumbing board tomorrow to file a complaint based of the conversation I heard. I don't know how they are recommended on any website, I'd beware of all the compliments and stars on Home Advisors. Too bad 0 stars isn't an option.

I had a clogged drain in my kitchen. I called First Action plumbing. Matt and another guy came out to my home. Instead of snaking and unclogging my drain, Matt told me that I would have to replumb a whole section of pipes under my house. He was going to charge me $869. He told me he could not snake my pipes because they were all """"90 degree angles."""" What kind of plumber doesn't know how to snake a drain?! Instead, he wanted to charge me almost $900 to redo my pipes. He also told me several things in my house were not up to code. I bought this house last year, and everything passed my home inspection with flying colors. Matt has a smart mouth on him. He asked if we were scared of our crawl space, if we ever go under our house etc. He also told me sarcastically that he could cut my clogged pipe and let the pipe just drain out under my house. I also asked both men to wear masks and I got attitude for that. Matt kept his mask under his nose the whole time he was in my home. I was charged $49 for them to do NOTHING. They had no problem cashing my check for a service call, but snaking a drain after 2pm was asking wayyyy too much of them. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLUMBER. They will scam you. The next day, I had an awesome plumber that works for All Star plumbing who came to my home, work for an hour and a half snaking my drain. Which he cleared and told me my pipes were fine! I HIGHLY recommend All Star Plumbing.

Please read the BBB reviews before using this company. how unbelievably disrespectful and rude they are is stated more than once. it probably the theory that if it """"quacks and walks like a duck, it's a duck"""" My mother, who is now deceased, and I decided to trust this company and the courteous rep they sent. My mothers trembling hand wrote a portion of a check as did I, which was made good in November of 2021. On at least two prior occasions, I was without water for two to three days, although their add proclaims that they will be there on an emergency basis. They hand wrote that there was a theee year warranty of all workmanship. I have caught the owner, so he said, in so many inconsistencies, I doubt he remembers what he says. He says he never met me, it was his dad, when his """"dad"""" replaced one pump or claimed to. yet Matt said his dad raised the pump, then he said he did it. It was like pulling teeth to get anybody to tell me what was wrong with the pump each time i didn't have water. isn't that a logical question? should a customer even need to ask? He finally admitted that there was a broken wire they caused He had the nerve to tell me he was just as frustrated as I was cause """"he had to eat it,"""" referring to the cost of a new pump, which is exactly what the manual says from vouds a manufacturers warranty, so he told on himself. i wasn't frustrated. it was frightful. it takes a lot of water to flush a toilet and no idea when this company was going to restore it, although, again, I had abs have a warranty. Two days ago, again, I had no water. First, when I called the person who answered asked if the electric issue had been resolved. Theres never been an electrical issue. The owner, or actually he says it wasn't him, tried to tell me it was my fault cause I chose a cheaper pump, then I agreed that didn't make sense. thsts because it's a lie. that conversation never happened. there are witnesses. Two days ago, he says that due to some much rain, he couldn't fix my pump and left it laying in the ground. Under his breath, he called me """"crazy,"""" then tried to cover it up. Was I upset? who wouldn't be, partcularly when he told me he would put another pump in but I was going to pay for it. and yes, he said it with that kind of intimidation I am between a rock and a hard place cause, even if I had the funds, should somebody else put in a new pump, the company and Matt can claim I voided the warranty. it gets worse, the second time during what he himself said was """"six times"""" they had been here,"""" he used explicit language that I have never experienced a company talk with the verbal abuse he talked to me. He used the f word in some form of speech, GD and one of the last things he said to me was f---- you, to me. he might as well been saying to my dear mother who trusted them. it was uncalled for. And he then told me the well failed and had caved in. when I asked how he knew, he says he assumed. I would not be claiming what I am writing in this review if it could not be proven. I would never give somebody with such mistreatment of another human being the satisfaction of standing me corrected. I will have the well measured, and if it meets a certain height criteria, there's no reason why they should not be responsible for standing by their word, as vulgar as his words are. However, i have to be certain some attention is given to how he talked to me. again, according to the reviews, I'm not the only one, although Matt claims everybody besides me is """"reasonable."""". He was speaking and was stating to his """"dad"""" that all I wanted to do was argue. when me and my mother have paid them over 4,000.00 and was guaranteed I would not be without water? what is a person supposed to do. Just agree to be mistreated as a consumer on an ephcally abuse experience level.
