We highly recommend Chris from Finite Plumbing. We had him out to replace our 30yr old hot water heater (propane) and couldn't be happier with his work. He was timely, professional and knowledgeable. Quality workmanship. Stop looking and support a local plumber - Call Chris!

Had a water heater issue and Chris did a great job diagnosing the problem. It was a tricky one, with 2 separate parts needing a replacement but Chris figured it out and did very good work. Would definitely use him again for any plumbing issues. Thanks Chris.

I was in need of emergency repair for a leaking faucet and couldn't find anyone to come in from Tahoe. Chris drove from el Dorado. He was communicative of his ETA and came in earlier than the appointment. His demeanor is very professional. His quality of work is great. He would explain the issues and different options and scenarios. He has a 4 hour minimum for Tahoe area which is fair since he is driving 2 hours here. He also typed up a report for me to submit.

Power outage fried our water heater and we were left without hot water in our vacation home. I emailed Chris and he came out the next day and replaced it. It was amazing how fast he was. Great communication. Will contact him again!

Totally satisfied with the job little tricky cutting cutting stone and plumbing connections in hard to reach places. Chris was able to do a fantastic job,
after install he cleaned up totally all shiny and new. In addition our dog liked him too, and she's real picky.
Looking forward to a big plumbing job coming up and we will be requesting Chris . Thank you

Chris with Finite Plumbing and Welding is great. A down to earth guy who is honest and hardworking. We needed three things done at our cabin. The main house shut off was stuck and wouldn't budge, which made me very nervous with the cold weather when we weren't home. Especially having experienced a burst water line for 3 days at a previous house. Burst pipes are no fun. We also needed to remove some plumbing that wasn't done properly in a closet where a hot water tank was removed and shut offs for the exterior hose bibs. Chris came up with a better solution to make our lives easier with a new ball valve shut off inside the mechanical closet (rather than the square rod shut off). He also made sure to look at the plumbing lines to other areas in our house so when he cut and caped plumbing lines that were in the closet, everything in the house worked the way it should. He also inspected and pointed out that the exterior hose bibs were the kind rated for the exterior freeze conditions and it wouldn't make sense to waste money to install separate shut offs. All of this work was primarily done in our crawl space too, so not easy space to work in. Work was really well done. Lastly I want to mention that he was very responsive via Yelp and text message and he showed up 10 minutes early. If we have more plumbing projects, then Chris will be our first and only person we call.

10 STARS, 20 STARS!!,....if it was possible to do that here,...but it isn't. For the most incredible experience in service, integrity, stick-to-it-ness, dogged determination, and even keeled behavior in the face of a most difficult situation from a contractor I have ever experienced...Read on,. Its worth it. It's Super bowl Sunday at my duplex, the tubs, sewer line backs up, we all know the SB is a De facto holiday and I called the main local and reputable companies and was greeted with voice mail which was no surprise. I called Chris at Finite plumbing and he answered and said he would be out the next day. Halleluiah, a family of five is next door and luckily the tubs drained overnight and we were ready to go...Chris knew just what to do and that's what we did, run a snake down the drain line to clear the obstruction,...sadly the snake head broke off in the line but the obstruction was cleared restoring normal plumbing infrastructure. But how to get the broken snake head presented a potentially serious and a more imminent problem,. Kind of like a time bomb. There was no immediate solution but acting on experience I arranged to have the line camera'd the very next day and while the line was clear of water and effluent, I asked that company to tell me how this needs to be fixed and when it could be done which they did do and the very next day,. These solutions were in the thousands of dollars and would have left my circa 1963 plumbing in a better state than when Chris found it, I called Chris, he came back and we looked at the site conditions and Chris said that he, as a one man shop just wasn't able to do an excavation job,. Totally understandable. Chris offered to pay the cost to have another company do the work, handed me in cash the cost to have the line camera'd...I was blown away and told him I would not let this father of 7 kids with another on the way eat this entire cost. Tired of reading this review ?? Better not be because this is where it gets special, Chris asked if he could think about a way to get this hunk of metal out before we did any other work,...over the next 3 days Chris came back and utilized his ingenuity, knowledge of metallurgy, Harry Houdini, and MacGyver cunning and together, ( but mainly Chris) we got this hunk a metal outa there! This cost Chris money and time and never a hint of disappointment in his demeanor, body language, and impossibly polite and calm. He wasn't going to be beat by the situation,. Sure it saved us both a greater amount of money had we taken the other path but the elation I think we both felt was akin to completing a mission. I told him I would be lucky to be in a foxhole with him. I wish I could bore you some more with the details of this story,...but I wont. Thank you Chris!,.. and you can have anybody you want call me for a referral anytime
