I had a leak and needed someone to work with, so I called around. A guy showed up and claimed he was part owner of the company (later found out he was not) my leak was on a rooftop balcony that sits above my living room (100 sq feet ). After giving me a quote to replace the balcony flooring, doing the repair in my living room, and a small section of siding that water had entered, Tom gave me a price. I shared pics and told him exactly what i wanted and we agreed. It seemed a little high but reasonable so I asked if he could also replace the balcony railing while working. I put 1/3 money down and they started with the siding and railing (exterior) demo, after doing all demo, Tom showed up with the wrong siding material, literally the cheapest stuff you can find off of amazon, and I asked that he stick to the agreed material. He told me it was going to cost more and I told him I would not pay extra for what we had already agreed to but then he told me that he didn't know the material was going to cost as much as it did and that he is losing money. After finally settling for a mid grade siding when initially I asked for a specific high end siding and showed pics before signing the ageeement, they started to do the installation and the person who was installing told me that he had never met or worked with find us or Tom, he also told me that they were unlicensed day workers.
They continued to do the work while I was working at my job, to return to see that brand new custom horizontal iron railing that I asked to be made was installed. As I approached it, I could see that it wasn't level, but then as I got closer I could see that it had been welded metal, and then spray painted black. I touched the rail and the spray paint came off on my fingertips and left iron showing where the paint rubbed off. I called Tom immediately and told him it was unacceptable and that this needed to be professionally painted /powder coated as requested. This was one of the worst quality things I've seen a so called contractor do. He attempted to tell me that I needed to pay more if I wanted it done that way because he didn't realize that the cost would be so much for the material and that he didn't know that where he got it wouldn't come in black. Which is a lame excuse for trying to use $5 spray paint. I told him, I am paying you $16k for about 8k of work, there is no reason i should accept this poor of quality (pics attached) , he mentioned he didn't know a place but if I could find one he would pay for it.. so I personally searched, loaded the rail in my truck and took it down to one of the 20 places that readily pop up on google, and got a quote ($200) which is NOTHING in relation to the project cost, Which he eventually agreed to pay after I threatened to cancel the rest of the agreement based on quality. He agreed to do this entire project off lies and had zero clue about what needed to be done or where to source the material.
Then we get to the inside drywall. We had discussed him opening a portion of the ceiling to assess the water damage (should have been done before patching the rooftop deck) but he agreed he would do this, and scheduled for a sat at 8am. On sat at 8am me and my pregnant wife made plans and go to a hotel to avoid the dusty drywall work, Tom showed up with a guy (day labor) and told the guy right in front of me, to just drywall over the leaking areas and not to open it and look. I said no, we agreed that we would open up and see if there is any internal damage and Check for mold, then guy stepped out with Tom and I could hear his say that he didn't feel comfortable doing that, but needless to say the guy left and Tom came back in and said he would have to start Monday.. so we took a loss on the hotel and stayed home but thankfully they were able to credit us a future stay. On Monday, I called out of work, and rescheduled the hotel And tom showed up with a different guy and tried to tell him to patch it, I stepped in and told him, this was a major leak, we need to see if there is more water damage. Again, they were unable to negotiate a good rate between them and the guy left so strike 2 on starting as planned. Tuesday a guy shows up and sits in my driveway and doesn't come to the door for 2 full hours, and drives off..

100% scam. They send an incompetent ""inspector"" out and then they won't leave until you pay them $100 for the ""inspection."" In reality, the guy that shows up has no idea about anything. I've been trying to get my money refunded and they have blocked my number after 2 requests. I'm looking into legal action - please respond if you can help out. For the love of all things good, do not call these people. And if you do, call the police to get the guy to leave - don't pay them.

Our roof started leaking during torrential downpours in February; I called many places but most were booked up and Find Us Now was the first to be able to get out to me. He seemed knowledgeable enough about what repairs needed to be made, and being a new homeowner we had no real idea what to expect price-wise, so it seemed reasonable.
Communication quickly went downhill; I asked to schedule the work ahead of time to be sure someone was home if need be, and we would schedule something only to have someone show up on a completely different day, or someone would call me and say people would be at our house in five minutes, and the person who seemed to be organizing the job (who also did our estimate) was very nice but would show up completely unannounced, often fairly late in the evening.
The outer work was finished and we started a second job to fix the ceiling tiles indoors that were compromised (I initially thought this would be part of the original work but it was another job, so more $). Still poor communication on when someone would be out; was told someone would be by shortly after 4, they show up at almost 6 and want to do 3 hours of work in our living room while we are in the middle of eating dinner- not ideal. Before the indoor repairs were finished, it rained again and we noticed the roof was still leaking. They came back out and said they fixed it (also said they should have charged me for the additional work but weren't going to just to be nice). Meanwhile, the contractor who came to replace the ceiling tiles informed us that most of them would not be able to be matched (original to our 1950's home I imagine) and they couldn't get anything similar, but that they were only stained and not damaged so wouldn't need to be replaced after all. The interior work ended up being about 1/4 of the surface area after all of that, and when I asked what the new price would be since much less work would be done they offered me a couple hundred dollars off of the $2900 price. I fought this, and finally accepted about $1000 less.
Fast forward to now: it rained and our ceiling is still leaking. We contacted someone who specializes in PVC flat roofs to inspect it, and he found that the work is already peeling, not two months later. He also showed us several indicators that the contractors were not knowledgeable about this type of roof. Also, this expert, who only deals in our type of roof, is charging LESS to fix all of their work than their whole project cost.
I called to ask to speak to someone about the faulty work and was told I would receive a call back from the supervisor in a few minutes - nothing. I feel completely ripped off. Lesson learned, I guess?

This ""company"" is a scam. We recently purchased a house and were informed that the repairs we had requested to the chimney of the house prior to purchase were conducted by Find Us Now. After we moved in, we noticed a water coming in from our chimney and got another professional chimney company to come out. They notified us that the repairs that Find Us Now's contractor had supposedly completed hadn't been done at all, but they charged the previous homeowner upwards of $600 for these repairs. A call to the company revealed that even though their website states they source from a network of independent contractors, they call them their ""employees"", but when I asked which of these employees had conducted work on our home, they said they'd need to check and call back then blocked my number. My husband attempting to call revealed the same thing. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE ANYONE SOURCED FROM HERE FOR HOME REPAIRS. There's no verification they're using licensed contractors and clearly don't step up when errors were made.
