Yesterday Fina installed a new water softener to replace our 21 year old water softener. They were prompt. courteous and efficient. The drain for the old softener was not up to code so they went to buy the part so now we have a new softener and are up to code. Their price was also reasonable. We highly recommend DLC Construction.

I first reached out to Carlos via Yelp to get a quote. Rather than having him physically come out, he was able to give me a number over video chat. The initial contact was simple and straightforward; there was no up-selling which was much appreciated. I ended up scheduling an install with him about 2 weeks out.

The night before, Carlos called to confirm the appointment. The morning of, I received a call from DLC Construction to let me know that they were on their way and I was given an ETA. When they arrived, the fellas quickly got to work and let us know how they'd need to run the pipes around the tricky space that is our garage.

The following day after install, I noticed that the head valve was off. I texted Carlos who patiently tried to troubleshoot the issue with me on videochat. At the time, we suspected the extension cord. But after I hung up, fetched a ladder and followed along the extension cord, it was discovered that the extension cord was plugged into a power source that was dependent on the garage door being open i.e. when we opened the garage door, the head valve of the water softener unit would turn on; when the garage door was closed and after a few minutes go by, the head valve of the water softener unit would turn off. But I can't fault DLC for this as it worked since they had the garage door open the entire time up until when they left. I ended up having to re-route the extension cord to another part of the garage.

All in all, it was a pleasant experience and brownie points to Carlos for making himself available after hours for questions.

Carlos and his team were amazing to work with. It started with his up front pricing estimate - which honestly was the reason I went with him and his team. He looked at my request and didn't try to upsell me on anything - I knew what I want and he immediately sent back a quote for the system with the caveat that he would need a site inspection to confirm. His site visit was quick and he discovered some piping would need to run underneath our home and the quote increased slightly, but he was very upfront about everything.

Installation day was a breeze - his team was in and out within 4 hours and the system works GREAT!

Carlos (owner) responded right away when i inquired about water softener. We did a video call so he can see the layout of my house to see what service he can provide. We discussed it & came up with the solution to my issues, the type of system needed for my house & cost. After agreeing to the cost & system over the phone, we decided on the installation date. His workers came in on the assigned date timely, they were very professional. They made sure that the plumbing are secured. They thoroughly explained how my water softener system will work & what to expect when the system is cleaning itself. Overall, great customer service.
