We had a stopped up toilet that our own efforts at snaking failed to unclog. Called around and requested help from Yelp. The first response was from FIG plumbing, about 20 minutes after posting.

Apart from a good response, he was able to fit us in that afternoon. It turned out he had to remove the toilet to get into the drain. Other plumbers who followed up after FIG said that if the toilet had to be removed it would cost anywhere from $450.00 to $600.00.

Without having negotiated in advance, his charge was considerably less than the others.

Our hot water heater went out (which amazingly was almost 25 years old) and Alvaro was able to come out the same day. I met him at the local Home Depot to pick up the heater and necessary parts and we loaded up his truck to bring the new heater.

Alvaro is super responsive, always replying back almost immediately over various texts we exchanged. Swapping out the heater needed a little more attention and time than expected but he handled it like a pro and the finished install was very clean and looked great. Super nice fella and prices are very fair compared to other plumbers doing similar work.

Our shower knob hasn't been working properly for about month and we finally decided it was time to hire a plumber. I sent a message over the Yelp platform and had a few plumbers message back with insane prices while Fig's was the most responsive and decently priced considering it was just the knob that de-latched. He made it out on time and he was so quick at fixing the knob as well. His availability and honest work with great prices truly deserves the 5 stars for the treatment he provided.
