I had an AC unit installed in my house and i can't say enough about how courteous, professional, and meticulous they are. I would recommend Ferro plumbing to anyone who is interested in a first-rate job with more than fair prices.

Unfortunately, I did not read reviews before hiring Ferro plumbing to do a small job. They provided an estimate and then decided to up charge 4x the estimate. They did not communicate at any time the job was ""more work."" I explained its important to let the customer know if the estimate is no where near the final cost during the job or if the job is changing direction. They replied they ""don't need to communicate because we asked them to fix it."" Mike and Rob both lack professionalism and customer service. The worst part is they are also dishonest. They claimed to be at the house for significantly longer. The camera captures their entry and exit time which does not align to what they claim. Their language and use of words are aggressive and not professional. Would not recommend.

Recommended by a friend and, I was not disappointed. The Gentlemen Came, looked, evaluated, estimated time, material, degree of difficulty, price, and were precise with the expertise, workmanship and cleanup. These guys are Professionals and I won't hesitate to call them if I need them for any plumbing work.

STAY AWAY! Very dishonest and aggressive owner and workers. Overpriced for the basic work they do. Your better off with any other company. Says one price then all of a sudden adds more once started or threatens to leave the work if not paid more.

June 2021 Ferro owner and employees responded quickly, arrived when they said they would, are knowledgable in their craft and cleaned up nicely.
My first dealings with them was a few weeks ago when my tenant's kitchen sink was backing up. They fixed it in a jiffy.
My most recent project entailed the removal & installation of a new vanity, new sinks, faucets & toilet in two bathrooms. Both tubs needed shower bodies replaced, along with the removal & replacement of 3 walls of tiles surrounding one tub..
They did an excellent job & fairly quickly.
I will say this: they are not inexpensive. Especially since I provided ALL the supplies (except for the shower body & a few pipes/fittings) I do think the cost could have been less. I guess, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.....and I am VERY pleased by the outcome!!

Friday afternoon and the pips under the kitchen sink broke. I called and left a message for Mike. Within 2
15 minutes he was on the phone to me, and within an hour and a half his workers were there. Fast service reliable work.

Everything was going great, we agreed on price, his workers did a great job. Then he hits me with extras. Basically feel like I was Rip off, will never use this company ever....

Made the mistake of calling Ferro because my A/C compressor was sporadically tripping the breaker.

Tech, Joe, arrived an hour after the 3 hour service window. He diagnosed the problem as the condenser needing cleaning and could benefit from some additional coolant. (""Borderline low,"" I think he said.) The cleaning consisted of spraying some - presumably antifungal - stuff on, then hosing it off. That was $180. I opted to do my other condenser, too, since he was here and recommended it. After adding the coolant, he let me know that it was $100/pound, so another $200. I knew that this was a pretty lucrative little visit, since the cleaner was probably a couple of bucks and the total service call probably took 30 minutes, but I rationalized that I was supporting local small business, he seemed knowledgeable, and there was a 30 day guarantee.

I had my A/C off for most of the next few weeks since it was cooler. I had had the service completed on 8/16 and I tuned the A/C back on after a couple of weeks on 9/13, discovered that it had tripped the breaker again, and called Ferro on 9/14. The answering person said that, yes, the return visit was covered by the 30 day guarantee and arranged for another service visit the following day.

Joe came again, tested the capacitor, and said it was bad. Before replacing it, I asked how much the new capacitor was and reminded him that the the visit was free. Joe said that this was a new call, since he had done repairs last time. I pointed out that the repairs he had completed didn't solve the problem. He replaced the capacitor, which took about 3 minutes, then called his boss, Mike, for the price. Mike and Joe apparently agreed that this issue was best resolved by telling me that the installed part was $275. When I said that the visit was supposed to be free and asked how much the part was (and I was assuming a hefty markup would still be in there on a part that retails for $48), he repeated that the service and parts were $275... and that I could pay it or he would replace the old capacitor. I agreed that this was the best way to go, he did so - which took about another 3 minutes - and left.

Wish I had a 0-star option for rating...

I contacted this company this week Thursday morning left my name number because I had a boiler issue I didn't have no heat or hot water. Not to long after ""Mike""called and I explained what was going on he said he will send someone out to look at it. Great I'm thinking however thats when it went downhill from there! The guy came and saw my boiler started to criticize the type it was and how it was illegal???? really??? he goes to his pick up truck and comes back saying he was told that ""make sure he gets paid"" which that remark upset me and my huband and then he wanted us to pay him $300 and could not and refuse to tell us whats wrong with our boiler! I feel he didnt know how to fix my boiler and is incompetent. Hey folks there's more........ I called the offfice to talk to Mike about the situation but was told he was not there and both women in the office assured me he will contact me which of today Sat 11/19 has not. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS AND ARE NO GOOD!

Ferro Plumbing and Heating is a very reliable business, with prompt courteous service. I have been using them for years and their service has always been very good and always reasonably priced. In addition to plumbing I have used them for home construction projects, such as installing new bathrooms and am very pleased with their workmanship. I recommend them highly to anyone in need of a good plumber or general home contractor.
