Owners, Linda and Wes Ferrari, founded Ferrari Plumbing, Inc. to address plumbing challenges for homeowners and businesses.

We entered this profession to interact with individuals and find joy in our work. We love working in DuPage County because it gives us the chance to support our neighbors.

Initially, we focused solely on plumbing for new constructions, but as the housing market shifted, we adapted our approach. From our Wheaton base, we now dedicate ourselves to addressing plumbing concerns in older homes and businesses in the western suburbs of Chicago.

When we visit your home or office, we draw on our extensive knowledge and years of experience, along with our annual training. We uphold consistent quality and standards, whether we’re fixing a leaking faucet, unclogging a toilet, or installing a new water heater.

Waaaaaay too expensive!!!! I had their plumber remove my toilet, drill 4 new holes to stabilize it, seal it, and put a new tank in. I was charged 625.00!!!!! To put it in perspective, an entire new toilet is 300-something. So I could have gotten a brand new toilet for less money than these ripoff artists cost!!! The plumber then went to my basement where he probably jabbed a hole in my floor for all I know!! I will NEVER use these people again! Another perspective is my usual plumber installed an entirely new water heater for me for 850! That includes the cost of the water heater and them hailing my old one away!! These people are cost ripoff artists!! Do not use them! You can find someone cheaper!!!!!!!

I replaced my old water heaters with two new Rheem 38,000 BTU Prog40-38N RH59 models on 11-03-2014.
POSITIVE: Immediate response to request. Technician Wes was at door in 2 hours. He was knowledgeable and professional. He explained his work clearly with good suggestions. The job was done well in a couple of hours.
NEGATIVE: The quoted price for each is $1190, which is substantially above market. Also the service call fee of $150 is not waived which was a surprise (though I did get a discount).
Overall, Ferrari provides excellent customer service and workmanship. It is a good choice if you value timeliness, reliability and quality over competitive pricing.

Ferrari plumbing clearly outlined prices for the work performed. The work was done to my expectations. The plumber clearly explained what needed to be done to fix the two problems Ferrari was called on for.
Ferrari was available when needed and arrived at the agreed upon time

Well I can't say that their service is poor because we never got it. I explained that I have standing water in my bathroom in Wheaton & it got bigger each time the toilet flushed. Today is Thursday & they said ""we can't come out until Monday, can you wait?"" I explained that our business holds class everyday for teenagers, whom might have to use the bathroom. Her response was ""oh, maybe you should call another company to see if they can come out!"" Hmmmmm i could've sworn their advertisement on their website said 24/7 EMERGENCY SERVICE. I'll never contact them again.

My situation was brought on by a series of mishaps, not the least was me trying to work with an old laundry tub, but to sum it up, they were able yo get me in the next day, had a call before they arrived and they did the work. I actually liked the idea that he had the cost for the work in a binder- job by job. Knew exactly what I would be charged regardless if it took 2 hours or 10 hrs. He did talk me into a different faucet than the one I bought, BUT, his explanation of why I should go with the better one made sense and he gave me a $10.00 discount. I read the one review by someone who said he was not friendly, If I had not chatted with him for a while, asking a myriad of questions, I may have thought the same, but I realized (I hope I'm right), that he just has a dry sense of humor combined with an accent. I would definitely recommend them - but hope I don't need to use them again myself for a while!

There are number of problems with their service:

- Their only technician, Wes is a very unfriendly person. When asked about anything he talks about something related, but won't give an answer to the question. He also constantly asks for help while working.

- Once you give them your email address they will spam your mailbox, and unsubscribe button does not do anything.

- If you wander why there are so many good reviews, try to use their service. They will pay you $25 for writing a good review.

- I have received quote for the job over the phone, but when Wes came, he said it is actually about %50 higher and he refused to honor their quote. He also said, that if I don't want him to do anything I owe him $95 for coming.

- Wes is their only technician, and is always available. I guess if their work will be good, they would stay busy. I definitely will not use them again because of all the issues.

- They promised 3 year warranty, but after installation it turned out that only least expensive component is covered, everything else is not.

- Their pump lasted 2 weeks. I have called another service to fix it. It turned out that Ferrari Plumbing did not replace $7 part that was causing problems initially. Instead they sold me a new pump and attempted to fix that inexpensive part.

- They also use name Ferrari with car maker logo without a license from the car maker. It tells a lot about who they are.

Ferrari Plumbing showed up when he said he would. He got the sump pump replaced quickly and correctly the same afternoon. His pricing was fair. And while he did recommend some additional work, he respected my budget.

Wes was condescending to every question I asked and did not give me prices from his ""binder"" of services; instead services without me agreeing to ALL of them and then I was charged a $1000 at the end of the visit. VERY unhappy with the customer service and the way I was treated.

I have now used Ferrari Plumbing on 3-4 occasions for multiple things including a hot water heater replacement, sump pump/backup sump replacement and pulling a very difficult shower pan out of a bathroom I was renovating.

I've dealt with Wes every time and find him to always be on time and professional. There's no doubt in my mind that he knows what he's doing and get things done thoroughly. I've read in other reviews that he will point out additional things in your home that aren't done properly and that is true. In our case, these were things that needed to be addressed at some point and I knew it already.

Not sure if Ferrari is the least expensive plumber out there but if you're looking for a plumber that will show up on time and do a very professional job, you'll be in good shape.

We had them out 2 months ago because our sewer line was backing up. After over 2 hours and over $700 we were cleared out, but were told there were no guarantees. Not even 3 months later, we were backing up again. We called someone else and it was cleared for 1/2 the price and they are sending someone out with a camera for no additional charge. And we were given a 6 month warranty on the work.
