My furnace died on a late Friday afternoon on the coldest day of the year, and Joe went out of the way to get it back up and running so we had a warm house for the weekend. Joe was extremely thorough and did high quality work, and checked in over the weekend to make sure all was still working. Great service, quality work, and a great guy. Highly recommend Joe if you need work done.

Joe is great. Called on a Friday night not expecting a call back anytime soon and not only got a call, but work completed before noon on Saturday. Fair price, amazing service and quality!

We're in the middle renovations and noticed a leak in the basement coming from one of the pipes for the heat, we didn't know what caused it and our contractor wouldn't help us. So we found Ferguson Plumbing on Yelp. Joe came over to check out the leak and where it was coming from. Turns out our contractor hit a pipe when he nailed in our baseboard trim. Joe found the leak and fixed it within an hour and a half. Very professional, trustworthy knows his stuff. I now have him on speed dial for future catastrophic events!

I am new to Pepperell. It's always dicey finding people when you live in a new area. Ferguson was Great!
I called in the afternoon. I got a return text that evening stating they knew it was after hours but wanted to let me know they got the message and would call tomorrow. That was great service. I don't think that's ever happened before.
They were very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and quick.
Really pleased. Would recommend to everyone.

Joe was everything you could ask for in a contractor. He was super communicative and talked to me on the phone a bunch of times to plan out the job and confirm what I wanted. I had a somewhat uncommon request, which was to install a used boiler to replace my super old one. Normally that's a bad idea, and he talked me through the risks. He managed to get it done right in a single day and it's working great.

This is also a guy who wants to do things right the first time. Since I was operating on a budget, he was a little limited in how perfect he could make it compared to his ideal, but it looks great. He simplified the plumbing, making it way easier to understand what's going on with the boiler My old setup had pipes crossing all over the place and was so confusing. He made some nice looking manifolds that make things so much easier to diagnose.

He was transparent on costs, stuck to the budget, and fixed a separate issue while he was here. Overall, this dude is awesome, has real standards for quality of work, was responsive, was transparent, and was fairly priced. He'll be my go-to from now on.

I consulted Yelp looking for a good local plumber, which lead me to Ferguson. MrFerguson showed up promptly and took a look at my leaking toilet, correctly judging my amateur attempts at fixes.

In and out in 45 minutes, charging me the absolute minimum. Highly recommended.

We met owner Joe Ferguson when he was a subcontractor on a bathroom remodeling job we had done in 2015. We were impressed with his attention to detail and the caliber of his work. He returned in 2016 when we remodeled a second bathroom, and again his work was excellent. This month, Joe replaced our gas boiler. He spent 8 hours working on the installation, replacing a faulty thermostat on our hot water tank in the process. Total bill was $7300, including $5000 for the new boiler itself and another $1000 in parts. That was a whopping $4500 less than another plumber charged us in 2010 to install a Buderus boiler (the costly piece of junk that Joe replaced).

We have found Joe to be prompt, responsive, and professional. He is a pleasure to work with. He makes great recommendations and gives good advice. He never tries to sell you anything you don't need.

I contracted Ferguson plumbing for a large project which spanned one year in duration. This project included installation of new water pipes throughout our home, installation of five full baths, one half bath, two kitchens, two propane ranges, propane hook up to three furnaces, and one propane fired water heater.

Through this project I gained a good perspective on Joe Ferguson as a plumber, Joe Ferguson as an employer (through viewing interactions with his employees), and Joe Ferguson as a person.

Joe is a second generation plumber who has been exposed to the industry longer than most of us have been using the internet. During the design phase of our project we tossed Joe a few creative curve balls which other plumbers we interviewed would not commit to. Joe embraced them as if the requests were no big deal. A good example of this is our bicycle sink. Bike sinks are a-typical, and the three other plumbers we interviewed appeared intimidated. Joe on the other hand loved the idea and was eager to work it to a reality.
I found his confidence in ability to be reassuring, and was happy when he delivered high quality work on each aspect of our project. If you want to hire a plumber who really knows they are doing, Joe Ferguson is your guy.

Another way I got to know Joe throughout our project was through his interactions with his employees. He's respectful, mentoring, and pleasant. His staff is well qualified and each embody Joe's pleasant demeanor.

Finally, my review would not be complete unless I reviewed Joe as a person. And I do this because far too often we as home owners may feel a level of intimidation when dealing with contractors. A year ago I was faced with the challenge of hiring contractors to complete plumbing, electrical, framing, siding, and roofing. I've been to multiple sites, and read multiple reviews. What I learned through that experience is there's an awful lot of bad contractors out there. Some don't show up, some are endlessly hard to get a hold of, and some are dishonest.

Joe is one of the good guys. He shows up when he says he will, he always follows up same day on messages left, and he's honest to the core. He not only cares about the work he does, he takes pride in it.

I recommend Ferguson to my friends and family for projects of all sizes, and for emergencies and non emergencies. He will not let you down.

I left a text message at 2:00am and I got a response at 7:00am. They said they could come over at 2:00 pm and arrived at 1:46. Solved a septic issue and returned the next day to replace outside faucets. Very professional.

Was having problems with smell in dishwasher, washer, and in showers. Had 2 other plumbers in with no results. Ferguson came in when my hot water heater died and suggested keeping the water very hot, but installing a thermal bridge with a thermostat to lower the temperature of the water at the tap. Also checked our water pressure and found it extremely low and corrected it. We were using bleach and cleaning tablets weekly, but since Joe was here about three months ago, we haven't had a problem and out 50 gallon heater gives us the equivalent of an 80 gallon heater. Anybody want to buy some cleaning tablets?
