Due to a plumbing problem at my (98 year old) Mother-in-Law's home in Mt. Pleasant, an acquaintance recommended Feltner for the work. We were unable to be present at the time of the work (we live in Indiana), but I called them while they were at the project location. I explained what I had previously observed, pointed out the specific point where I observed the leak (a galvanized pipe joined at a cast iron tee) and specifically where the leak (a drain line from her bathroom vanity) was coming from. That person said they understood and that was part of the overall plan.

When we made our next trip up, we checked out what was done (for a very hefty fee). They fixed two things that we were not aware were problems. They did replace the main drain ""stack"" from cast iron to PVC and it had a brand new tee with a clean out plug (which was leaking when we arrived). I contacted them to come out since we still had a leak. I asked about the two issues they worked on and they explained that those items needed repair. I showed them the leak at the plug, and then had my wife go up and run water in the vanity above - it was like a flood into the basement. I think they were astounded to see that much water flowing down into the basement. It was obvious that they never ran water there before they left the first time. They then stated that ""they don't do that type of plumbing""! I was astounded and extremely livid. At this point, I marched them out of the house and said they were done. The damn plug was still leaking!

At this point, I contacted another plumber in the area and they fixed the plug, plus the original leak. I would NOT recommend this firm for any work, especially plumbing.

One star would be too generous. Hired this guy six months ago to fix drain line without breaking up concrete floor with their $5000 Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) By not prepping the line properly and using a too small of a liner, liner collapsed and ruined the pipe. I contacted the manufacturer who told me it was a botched instillation. When I contacted Felter, he told me too bad, deal with it. Now it will cost me $10000 to break up concrete floor and fix what he did. His 2 year warranty on instillation is worthless. Feltner won't return my money, Calls, emails or texts. Buyer beware.
