Received our annual notice from Sweetwater Authority that it was time for our backflow recertification. I like to do business with local folks and found Felix Backflow in Bonita. He answered the phone right away and scheduled us immediately. When he came out he was early, answered all my questions (backflow 101) and was in and out very quickly. I cant say enough about his polite professionalism and by highy recommend him!

Sorry for the digression but I really don't like that the city makes us do these tests each year. It should really be part of our water taxes which are high enough. Onto Felix... he's fast, reliable, and charges a fair price. What else do you need to know?

We put out an RFP with pictures of the exposed pipe area and within an hour we received a very reasonable estimate. Being that this valve is a city requirement, we were pressed to have it installed within a month. We called Felix and asked if he could get it done within a week and he said, ""I can be there today or tomorrow."" We scheduled for the next day. Felix and Mike arrived within 30 minutes of the designated time. He then explained the low-theft benefits of the valve model that he installs, and how the valve actually works. Meanwhile, Mike set up their equipment.

When the install was complete, Felix explained his pipe reinforcement technique which doesn't require concrete of the subterranean 90 degree pipes. There was no mess left behind.

The whole job took less than 3 hours and the water was off for only a short time. Felix took pictures and submitted them with the paperwork to the city. Before he even left, the invoice was in our email.
Felix and Mike were polite, organized, neat, quiet and quick. GREAT JOB!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I would give 10 stars if I could. Felix is great. Simply great. A couple weeks ago our backflow device had really bad leaking issue. It was Fri around 4pm by the time we noticed it. Me and my husband both got on our phones calling numerous backflow companies but no one could come out the same day till we got in touch with Felix. He was able to come within an hour with all the tools needed. He found the issue and fixed it. He was very knowledgeable and his price was reasonable. After that, I texted Felix a few times with backflow related questions and had no problems getting my answers. I would recommend him to everyone.

Our local backflow tester said we had failed our backflow and I asked the local backflow to retest it; they refused and the only option they gave us was to repair the backflow device. I then called Felix Backflow for a second opinion. It was amazing. As soon as I posted my yelp for a quote, Mr. Felix Garcia called me back that night right away. Felix and his crew came out on Saturday morning and went through the retest with me, explaining to me that the previous retest was not properly performed and that's why it had failed. He took the time and effort to come all the way from San Diego and we really appreciate his time and effort. Excellent contractor to work with. I would definitely recommend Felix Backflow Prevention to anyone in need of a backflow test.

Felix Backflow is absolutely excellent to work with. We have completed multiple commercial back flow test and repairs with Felix. Typically the requests we have for him are extremely last minute and he always makes us a priority and gets the job done within difficult time constraints. His work is flawless, he has contacts with the Otay Water District which is extremely helpful for our specific situations. He complete rebuilt an old rusted assembly on a building we purchased in record time. He sent us photos of the work along the way and our Commercial Contractor stated that his work was impeccable. He is easy to get a hold of, always pleasant on the phone/email, beyond knowledgable and his price is not just fair, it is LOW for his quality of work. I cannot recommend Felix enough.

Mr. Garcia emailed photos of every step of the process. The job was done flawlessly. The work and the process far exceeded my expectations. From now on I Intend to use Felix Garcia's very professional services for the annual Backflow Testing as well. His prices were very fair as well.
