If I could give a negative star review I would. Joe is the rudest person I have ever encountered. He was assigned my job through American Home Shield. They never contacted me to schedule the appointment they just made one. Had to reschedule 3 times because they scheduled not at times I selected. When he finally arrived I asked why they didn't call and he said ""we don't have time to call people"". I advised I was trying to explain the issue before they got here and called multiple times. He then yelled at me said he wasn't going to do anything for me and you customers are always like this while storming out and driving away!
The drain pipe connecting my disposal to the main drain pipe fell off. Through my home warranty company, I requested a plumber to come out for ""1 pipe leak"". Jesse, the plumber arrived 2 days later. He didn't introduce himself and he wasn't wearing a uniform nor a name tag so I had to ask him if he was the plumber. He confirmed. He came into my house without any tools, looked under my sink and declared, ""I can fix that in 10 seconds! No big deal.""
Then I told him that my kitchen and bath faucets were leaking and he informed me since that wasn't part of the request, he couldn't look at them. So he got to work on the pipe under the kitchen sink. He told me that the pipe was too short (I had the sink replaced in 2009 and it's been working all that time) so he needed to go out to his vehicle to get an extender. He came back into the house, again without tools, and got under my sink. A couple minutes later he said he was done. He never turned the water on to check it. So I went over, turned the water on and it was leaking from the sink drain (all part of the same pipe system under the kitchen sink.) He said he just needed to tighten the nut attached to the sink. He tightened it by hand (it's a metal nut) and declared it fixed-again without testing it. I turned the water on again and handed him a flashlight and asked him to make sure. I should've checked myself but isn't that what he's paid to do?! Anyway, he stayed an extra 15'ish minutes to talk about the leaking kitchen & bath faucets and we talked about how the hard water in my city is causing so many plumbing issues due to corrosion. He finally left and I was happy to get my sink back.
Fast forward several hours when I needed to wash a skillet, a pot, and some steak knives (not a lot). I washed the dishes and noticed water dripping out of the cabinet onto the floor. I opened the cabinet and there was water covering most of the base. I called my home warranty company and explained that the pipe is still leaking and I need the plumber to come out and repair it properly.
I received an email this morning from the home warranty company stating that the plumbing company is denying a return service and will charge me $450 to ""Replace a cartridge due to customer misuse"". How the hell do you misuse a kitchen sink drain pipe?! I was furious. So I called the home warranty company and explained that the plumber didn't fix the leaking pipe, there is no cartridge in a drain pipe and my request was denied because the plumber is assuming that I want something else fixed (kitchen & bath faucets) instead of actually coming back to inspect what he supposedly repaired.
The plumber was unprofessional while he was here. He looked like a bum in a dirty oversized shirt with holes in it. He didn't use any tools to repair the leak. He didn't bother testing his ""repair"" to ensure the leak was fixed until I did it myself the first time and had him do it the second time. The man talked my ear off and seemed far more interested in socializing rather than what he was being paid to do. I do not recommend this company. Unprofessional, unskilled, and refuses to stand by their work and make it right. So I have another company coming out tomorrow. I really hope my experience with them is much better than the experience I had with Fazio.
These guys are a joke! They were contracted through my home warranty company. Initially contacted on 3/15; didn't come out until 3/21; discovered issued was not resolved on 3/23 and they were again contracted through my home warranty. Dozens of calls between myself and the home warranty company from 3/23 through today 3/29 and they are unresponsive! Don't waste your time. Didn't fix the issue; won't respond.
HSA (home warranty) assigned them to evaluate basement water issues. Tried calling a few times to cancel and left voicemails - no answer or return call after reading all the negative reviews. Called HSA a few times to cancel the service call but they still haven't refunded me the $100 service fee because they can't confirm with this company that they never came (no they didn't).
We used Fazio for over 10 years so we had a hard time believing the negative reviews until now. We called Fazio when an issue began to develop Hoping to catch it before it got worse. Four weeks and 4 unanswered messages forced us to call someone else because the issue was getting worse. We were thrilled with the other professional. There are companies out there that appreciate your business. Don't waste your time on those that don't.
after getting hired through my warranty company, and work not being up to code (per TWO others that were sent back to fix his snotty work) Joe from Fazios called me up and called me a F***ing B***H. then set up an appointment and did not show. HE did not like me saying his work was not up to code.
they warranty company set up another vendor to company will not work on another plumbers crap. SO fazios refused to come back and complete the work that is sub par
then called me today 3/15/23 and yelled and threating me and yelling telling me he will sue me for his crap work. called me a b***H again this is the type of person you will deal with if you question his work.
Erich Z.John from Fazio did a great job in my bathroom; he was on time, courteous, and (even though my job need an extra part) worked very quickly, to completely solve my issue. Very easy to schedule ( and even re-schedule! ) & arrived exactly when expected ... i'm more than satisfied.

Stay FAR away from Fazio Sewer and Plumbing. They are rude, incompetent and unresponsive. I should have trusted all the other terrible reviews. Fazio Sewer and Plumbing was the contractor assigned to us by American Home Shield to fix a stopped toilet and bathtub. The guy from Fazio decided to try snaking through the bathroom sink, though that was not part of the problem, and got his snake stuck. He cut off the snake and simply drove off, leaving his broken snake in our sink. Not only did he not even address the toilet and bathtub issue that he was called down for, he broke our sink, leaving us with much bigger problems. We spoke to a few plumbers since who all agreed that the guy from fazio was quite incompetent and caused us hundreds of dollars in damages. Fazio hasn't responded to our calls and messages for over a week, and we are probably looking at major work needing to break through walls and floors to get their snake out.
This company was dispatched through our warranty company and all I have to say is run far away as you can see the numerous complaints and negative reviews. So unprofessional , No communication, and rude as hell. If I could give a - 10 I would. Please consider this warning- what a waste of time.
Absolutely horrific. Not only are they not licensed in Lorain county they're only qualified to unclog drains NOTHING ELSE. They ""installed"" a new hot water tank thank was banged up to hell- did not adjust the settings and left my old tank full of water leaking in my basement. The owner Joe Fazio came into my house and started yelling at me and left without doing a single thing. He yelled, swore and didn't even tell me he was coming. Psycho Joe is the correct name as this guy is just that. So not use this company they are not qualified and likely no licensed in your area either!! Next stop will be filing a BBB CASE. If you Mr home warranty suggests them RUN and find someone else asap!
