I contacted Don from Father and Son Plumbing late in the evening and was pleasantly surprised that someone actually picked up. Don was quick to schedule an appointment for the next morning and was very flexible with the timing. He came out, assessed our issue, and recommended another company that he knew could handle the job. His referral came through so quickly that they were at our home within an hour of Don leaving.

Don (the father) provided a proposal for descaling and hydro-jetting our main sewer line that was mid-range in price, but we chose him primarily for his sewer plumbing experience and responsiveness to our needs. He gave me contact information for 2 references so that I could ask questions that were important to me. I don't believe it is prudent to rely too heavily on online reviews. Initially, I was a little uncomfortable with his use of a sub-contractor to do the work--apparently it requires specialized equipment, too expensive for general plumbers. But he assured me that he would supervise closely and that he had used Antonio satisfactorily for many years. The end result was a good job. I received a ""before"" and ""after"" video of the sewer line. At my request, Don made a contingency plan with firm scheduling and pricing in case the descaling revealed pipe defects that would require cure-in-place-pipe lining. Fortunately, the additional work was not needed.

We suddenly weren't getting hot water in our guest shower. And go figure, in less than a week we were expecting family who'd be staying with us from out of town. To save our guests from taking icy cold showers I called Don and Brandon. They were able to get out to my home quickly, arrived on schedule, and promptly diagnosed the problem (it was an issue with the shower cartridge).

I thought I'd have to replace the part (and I should stress that Don and Brandon don't upcharge their clients for parts) but they took the time to further inspect the issue and it turned the cartridge didn't even need to be replaced, it had just been installed incorrectly. In no time my shower was back to getting hot water!

At the end of the day I was blown away by their professionalism, expertise, and fair pricing.

This was my first time using Father & Son and it won't be the last. Thanks Don and Brandon!
