Called this morning and they were able to fit me in today for a service call. Their technician diagnosed the problem as being a bad circuit breaker and not a furnace issue at all. I appreciated the honesty! He had to leave to get a new circuit breaker and came right back to replace it.

I'm happy with the service - prompt and courteous - but I am not thrilled with the high cost. The service call was $89 and a new circuit breaker should cost only $20-$30. I was charged $331.50 total, which I've been told by neighbors is very, very high for such a simple fix...Oh well. At least my furnace turns on now.

This is sort of a double-header, and includes a review for today and from a service call about 2 years ago. This company and their techs are great. Two years ago, a day before we were supposed to head out on vacation, we found our water heater leaking. We called them, they came out quickly, got the permits they needed, and we went on vacation without having to worry about it.

This morning, our furnace wasn't kicking in. No vacation plans this year, but the technicians came out quickly, found it was an in-warranty part, and got it replaced quickly. They were smart, knew what they were doing, and professional (and wore masks). We'd absolutely call Faszold first for any HVAC issues down the road. Thanks!

We were looking to replace our entire HVAC and humidifier system, nothing was wrong with our current system but it was getting to the end of it's lifespan. So, we were in no big hurry. We had 3 companies come in and give us suggestions and estimates. All 3 companies recommended basically the same system for our square footage which made the decision come down to warranties, timing and how the representative talked with us. We did our homework (I recommend all potential customers do their homework) prior to all meetings and had a list of questions we asked all 3 companies to see if we would get the same answers. After weighing all 3 quotes, Michael from Faszold presented the best price for the best system with warranties that provided better coverage. Michael actually was the only company that did a heat balance analysis our our home and recommended a system that would be the most beneficial and not higher (and more expensive) than our home needed, even taking into account that we will be finishing our basement including a bedroom and bathroom suite, family room and bar area. Michael was able to work with us on timing so the system was installed on a day when the weather was good and fit our schedule. The team that was onsite to do the install was professional and efficient, removing the old and installing the new in about 7 hours. We would highly recommend Faszold, fortunately we will not need them anytime soon.

Had used Faszold years ago but haven't had them out recently. Was always happy. Got out here quick after calling this morning. Nice technician but price for a simple furnace ignitor replacement was high! Diagnosed quicker, fixed quick, but seemed much more expensive than expected.

Edit- credit the team at Faszold for reviewing pricing and noticing an error. They called and it's been taken care of. Back in the top of my call list for sure!

I was very disappointed with Faszold. I told them our condenser fan motor on our Lennox A/C unit was locked up and to have the service tech bring one with him when he came. Shaun showed up on time and I told him what was wrong. He checked the capacitator and confirmed it was ok. He then said the motor is locked up. He said Lennox has specific motors and he would have to get one at a whsl parts warehouse in O'Fallon, Mo. He then proceeded to tell me it would be $540. I told him that was at least $300 too high. Without knowing for sure I said a motor can't be more than $120. I googled the P/N and can buy the Lennox motor on Ebay for $113 with free shipping. Unfortunately it would take 3 days to get it. I then called Scott Lee HVAC in South County and they are selling me the fan motor for $164 and I can pick it up before 5pm today. I can install it in less than an hour! I just saved $376 but unfortunately paid Fazold $65 for a service call.

I took six weeks researching several HVAC companies as I considered the replacement of my HVAC system. Quality, professionalism, reputation, communication, ease of doing business and fair price were my requirements. From the moment that I met Mike Faszold Jr. he (and his company) met all of these requirements without question.

Mike was patient, clear, insightful and helpful in working with me to identify the best solution for my 20-year old home. He has very strong consultative skills. I did not feel as though I was ""being sold to"" but rather guided to the best solution for my situation.

Mike's installation team of Austin, Dave and Joshua were just as professional. They greeted me at the door, introduced themselves and carefully reviewed the work that was to be done. They brought to my attention any and all adjustments that occurred along the way. They went so far as to remove and save plants that were too close to the new compressor, ensuring they did not harm them. Their work was thorough, precise and clean.

Without reservation I strongly recommend Faszold H&C to anyone in the St. Charles / St. Louis metroplex. You will not be disappointed with this company!

Why don't furnaces ever fail in July? Mine went out when it was 10 degrees outside. One call to Faszold and David arrived 2 hours later. He was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He fixed my problem in 10 minutes and clearly explained what had happened. The company I used to use would have tried to sell me a new HVAC system.

This is my new go-to outfit and when it is time for that new system I know where I'm going.

Really piss-poor service from Faszold Heating and Cooling. I had a service call scheduled today between 8am - 11am. Tech called me this morning to get directions. I informed him at that time that I lived a couple of miles down a country road, and given the weather conditions that we're all aware of, I told him he didn't need to come out today but was welcome to if he felt comfortable in doing so. So, he comes out.

First, he gets lost. Then, by the time he does show up his first comment to me out of his van window is ""looks like you lost your snow shovel."" Kind of thought he was joking around until he says ""Guess you thought I had a four-wheel drive truck."" Maybe not joking? Icing on the cake, he says ""what are you gonna do when I get stuck out here"". At that point I informed him that I wasn't going to listen to him mouthing me for the next two hours and gave him leave to exit my property.

Look dude - I recognize the weather is bad but it is still the AM directly after a snowstorm. It's not like I didn't give you fair warning about where I lived and weather conditions. Coming onto my property and running your mouth as if you've been put upon is exhibit A on not dealing well with other people

We've serviced our Trane AC/Furnace regularly with another company for several years. We switched to Faszold after having a couple of issues with our former HVAC company. Kevin came out promptly within the window the scheduler gave us. He was very friendly professional and efficient. He found some mold in our humidifier pad that he subsequently replaced. We had been having allergy symptoms that disappeared after he discarded the offending pad. We were very happy with the service we received from Faszold and highly recommend them to anyone needing service, repair or replacement of a heating and cooling system.
