I took six weeks researching several HVAC companies as I considered the replacement of my HVAC system. Quality, professionalism, reputation, communication, ease of doing business and fair price were my requirements. From the moment that I met Mike Faszold Jr. he (and his company) met all of these requirements without question.

Mike was patient, clear, insightful and helpful in working with me to identify the best solution for my 20-year old home. He has very strong consultative skills. I did not feel as though I was ""being sold to"" but rather guided to the best solution for my situation.

Mike's installation team of Austin, Dave and Joshua were just as professional. They greeted me at the door, introduced themselves and carefully reviewed the work that was to be done. They brought to my attention any and all adjustments that occurred along the way. They went so far as to remove and save plants that were too close to the new compressor, ensuring they did not harm them. Their work was thorough, precise and clean.

Without reservation I strongly recommend Faszold H&C to anyone in the St. Charles / St. Louis metroplex. You will not be disappointed with this company!

Why don't furnaces ever fail in July? Mine went out when it was 10 degrees outside. One call to Faszold and David arrived 2 hours later. He was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He fixed my problem in 10 minutes and clearly explained what had happened. The company I used to use would have tried to sell me a new HVAC system.

This is my new go-to outfit and when it is time for that new system I know where I'm going.

Really piss-poor service from Faszold Heating and Cooling. I had a service call scheduled today between 8am - 11am. Tech called me this morning to get directions. I informed him at that time that I lived a couple of miles down a country road, and given the weather conditions that we're all aware of, I told him he didn't need to come out today but was welcome to if he felt comfortable in doing so. So, he comes out.

First, he gets lost. Then, by the time he does show up his first comment to me out of his van window is ""looks like you lost your snow shovel."" Kind of thought he was joking around until he says ""Guess you thought I had a four-wheel drive truck."" Maybe not joking? Icing on the cake, he says ""what are you gonna do when I get stuck out here"". At that point I informed him that I wasn't going to listen to him mouthing me for the next two hours and gave him leave to exit my property.

Look dude - I recognize the weather is bad but it is still the AM directly after a snowstorm. It's not like I didn't give you fair warning about where I lived and weather conditions. Coming onto my property and running your mouth as if you've been put upon is exhibit A on not dealing well with other people

We've serviced our Trane AC/Furnace regularly with another company for several years. We switched to Faszold after having a couple of issues with our former HVAC company. Kevin came out promptly within the window the scheduler gave us. He was very friendly professional and efficient. He found some mold in our humidifier pad that he subsequently replaced. We had been having allergy symptoms that disappeared after he discarded the offending pad. We were very happy with the service we received from Faszold and highly recommend them to anyone needing service, repair or replacement of a heating and cooling system.

Our 24-year-old water heater was leaking like crazy from the bottom seam...at 9:30 PM, just 36 hours before we left town for vacation, of course! I tried a couple of local big-named home improvement stores and never made it through the layers and layers of auto messages and menus. I came to Yelp and searched for ""water heaters,"" and that's how I found Faszold.

I left a message and Jason called back immediately. He was calm and cool (me, not so much!), and he walked me through step by step how to get the water heater to stop leaking and how to shut off the hot water. It was easy and fast, and Jason was patient and knowledgeable.

He said they'd call back first thing in the morning, and that a water heater could be installed the next day so we could go on vacation as planned. They did call first thing, came out in the early afternoon, and I had hot water by the time I came home from work. I was able to have a hot shower before going to the airport, and left happy that I didn't have to worry at all about the water heater while I was vacationing.

Not only that, but I was bracing myself for a crazy expensive bill, since it was on short notice. I had a number in my head that I thought it might be, and the actual bill was less than half of that number.

I was very pleased with the work, the customer service, and the hot showers!

We called around trying to find someone reliable to come and fix our heat...the basement had flooded so we wanted to make sure that we needed a new one....in fact, we DIDN'T need a new one...he cleaned, polished and had it looking like a new one....Faszold was reliable, professional, and prompt...His honesty gained my trust and and hour later we had heat and a new relationship with Faszold...We will never call anyone else :)

Our furnace stopped working in January and a family recommended Faszold We had already decided we needed a new furnace and air conditioner as they were 19 years old and every season the heat or air would go out at some point. Faszold installed a energy efficient furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater in less than 24 hours. They transferred my humidifier from the old unit to the new as it was not very old. We also had a heat pump and air cleaner installed. They did a great job! Very professional and did a great job cleaning up.

Faszold has been FANTASTIC to work with. They were able to come over at 9pm and get a dying AC unit to work again so my family could survive the next few days. During the late night repair I knew my unit was WAY past it's life and felt really comfortable having them replace everything with a much more efficient and modern unit. Just a few short days later they were able to install everything while I was at work and I came home to a comfortable home. No mess was left, everything installed very professional.
